Just spent a couple of days in Rome, Piccolo Imperiale was a great pick,the owner met us on arrival and was really helpful,local cafes bars to serve our requirements, hotel was superb rooms immaculate and bed sheets changed daily, would highly recommend to anyone.

It’s a guest house within walking distance to attractions and a few restaurants. It is in a safe and quiet area. The room was clean and basic with tiny bathroom. The a/c took a little longer to cool. It was enough for one night before our flight back home the next day.

Nothing like the pictures on website. Room was tiny, bathroom even tinier. It has or had potential but someone chose to give it a quick/bad paint job. Bathroom shower floors moldy and lots of dirt between track. Pulled out an extra pillow from closet and it had little weird looking moths of some sort, blanket or duvet had a yellow stain on it so slept in tshirt and leggjngs. Bed was actually surprisingly comfortable. It just seems no effort is being put into really taking care of the rooms. They use a very powerful floral scent to clean rooms of some sort that can be overwhelming especially if you have allergies. Location was lovely steps from vatican city and castello st angelo, people in area very friendly and amazing authentic ice cream just a block away

i like because was close to vatican and miguel arcangel castle, but room was small, and washroom need a very deep cleaning, and they don't clean everyday the room

This is not an hotel, and there is no full time staff. It’s located in an old office building, with a small floor made into a few rooms. The access was up slippery marble stairs (no handrail) with an adjacent lift that barely fit the bags. The bed was comfy, but room very small, no hooks or rails for towels in bathroom, no shelf or place to put belongings in bathroom. Sink didn’t drain well. One day, a cleaning person mopped those stairs and left them wet (no sign « wet floors » anywhere) so my husband slipped and sprained his ankle. The day we left, we couldn’t get thru the building doors… finally found someone to open… it was underwhelming, and we definitely would not recommend it.
