The "hotel" occupies the top two floors of a building shared with other hotels. The elevator was old and didn't work when we checked out, so I had to carry my suitcases down the stairs myself.
I paid for two nights in a superior double room. They put me in a very dirty room near reception. They refused to change it, saying it was full. The next guests from China were put in our room type👎. I only got three hours of sleep because the intercom kept ringing all night. The owner compensated for the inconvenience with two bottles of water, very generous🤣
They refused to cancel the second night, but we were upgraded to a smaller room on the top floor. It was less noisy, but still dirty.
Perhaps we were unlucky, but we moved to another hotel near Termini for the same price, and everything was much better there.
I was struck by the low water pressure and the fact that the toilet seat was cracked and repaired with layers and layers of white electrical tape.
Staff kind and polite - accommodation is shabby and very basic - plus side is it’s about 6/8 mins walk to Termini
