Reviews
Desperately need new pillows.
The room itself was pretty basic. Floor had cracks (covered by a flimsy rug). Shower was ok but it was easy to pull the doors off. The Metro is nearby and you’ll hear and feel the vibration of the trains. There was no reception, and instead had to go through a convoluted check-in process. The AC only stayed on for 4 hours and we had to get up during the night to turn it back on. Breakfast was poor. A croissant, a tiny roll with cheese spread, a yoghurt pot, and either instant of over stewed coffee. One night was enough.
But, it is 10 mins walk from the Vatican, and very close to the metro if you need it.
1) The environment is very bad. It is an old tube building with dim corridors, stalls at the door, and subway construction next to it. It is a mess. There is not even a hotel sign at the door. Only when you go in and go to the room door do you see an A4 paper showing amor. . Is this considered operating without a license?
We contacted Ctrip to find the phone number. When we got there at 6 or 7 pm local time, people had already gotten off work (in fact, they only had one person cleaning the house, who worked half a day). When I checked in, I had to wait at the gate for 20 minutes on a hot day before I got in touch.
2) The facilities are very old. The elevator is broken, the buttons don't light up, and the elevator stops when it rises. It has a huge impact. It should be scrapped in China. To take the elevator to the fifth floor, you still have to walk up one flight of stairs. It’s really hard on a hot day with heavy boxes.
The kitchen was not allowed to be used, not even a microwave. Called and asked, the operator was rude. Originally, living in an apartment was just for convenience. If you want the kitchen to be private, why open a B&B?
Besides, their magical tap water is still muddy when boiled. It has not improved after repeated attempts four or five times. It has a strong smell. I can only keep buying mineral water to drink.
Their mini bar is free, with a lot of variety, and is only available on the first day. Later, there was no water, so I met the waiter and asked for two bottles before giving them to me.
Besides, the free food they gave away, the potato chips actually tasted bad!
Let’s talk about their bed. The photo is bright red, which is very eye-catching, but the quality is really poor. The sharp steel legs are so painful that we tripped over them 4 times. Because the room was too small, the foot of the bed was very protruding, and there were no slippers, so it was so painful! !
The air conditioner rumbles so loudly and is so old that it looks like it was found on a second-hand market. The lights were also broken.
Strange decoration, the bedside is facing the mirror, I can't sleep at night, and I'm startled when I wake up.
The most remarkable thing is only the bathtub. There is a Buddha statue facing it. This shows that the owner is really pretending to be educated and doing all he can to save face. Even so, let's give the bathtub 1 point for facilities.
3) Service, as mentioned earlier, the operator's poor English also made people feel that his attitude was hypocritical and disgusting. She was denied a check-out two days in advance, but she agreed in person on the phone and Ctrip would not refund the money after following the procedures.
1 point for service is just for the cleaning staff. He had a good attitude and smooth communication. I have never met the operator, but he is very annoying.
