Hello,
I had to wait almost 40 minutes for check-in because the staff informed me that there was an issue with the credit card system. I had already explained that I could leave my credit card as a guarantee and proceed with the check-in first, as I had traveled a long distance and was very tired.
I usually stay at W Hotels around the world and have never experienced such a long check-in delay before.
If the system is slow or experiencing issues, the hotel should have better arrangements in place. I also noticed that other guests arriving after me were experiencing the same problem.
This message is meant as constructive feedback to help improve the service, not as a complaint, as I believe your team is likely already aware of what happened on site.

The step at this hotel goes above and beyond to make sure that you are as comfortable as possible, and that you enjoy your stay and the city in an amazing way.
When we arrived, my son was very sick. They were so helpful. Next my husband became ill. Again, they did everything they could to assist us.
We could not have asked for a more compassionate group of people to help us navigate what should have been a long awaited vacation.
The rooms are absolutely stunning. The curtains are gorgeous, heavy velvet, and the bed linens are a super soft, incredibly high thread count.
You will feel very pampered when you stay here. We certainly did.

This place gave us the best experience we’ve had staying with Marriott. I’m currently a titanium member with lifetime platinum status but I truly believe the staff treated each individual with class. Their breakfast and valet service are top notch and their turndown service is impeccable! I would highly recommend this place without hesitation!! Grazie W staff!!

I left a two night stay at the W Rome and had such a wonderful experience. The location is great and makes walking to all the stops very accessible. The breakfast in the morning is also unreal and the best meat and cheeses I’ve had on my trip so far. Definitely stop and get a drink at the bar, the mixologists are so knowledgeable and also gave me great recommendations of places to check out nearby. Oh and if you booked through Amex, your $100 credit can also be used on room service which also comes from the restaurant downstairs and was the perfect first dinner considering my extreme jet lag.

Location is out of the main tourist area of Rome, with a quick short walk to the metro. Convenient with restaurants and park nearby. Quiet and more on the nicer side of things. From the valet to check-in and even housekeeping, the service was great. Rooms are quiet, bathroom is good size for Europe and amenities are a touch above.

The W Rome is a beautiful hotel, the rooms are small which is common for Europe. It had wonderful amenities like a Dyson hairdryer, and one of the best steamers I have ever used A Full mini bar with lots of snacks. We ate each morning at the member buffet which was delicious it had a great assortment which was more like a full breakfast. Every single Person who worked at the hotel was so very kind, and accommodating. Every evening they would knock on the door just to ask if there was anything we needed. I wish I could remember the gentleman who checked me in, he was again so nice. We did eat at the pizza restaurant the night we arrived and it was delicious, and the view was amazing. We also waited to go on a tour in the bar lounge area and it was very nice. The only negative was the room had low lighting, so it was dark and I stood by the window to apply my makeup. But I would rather do that to stay at such a beautiful, and nice hotel. It was a great sanctuary in a busy city. Thank you W Rome for allowing us the privilege to stay at your wonderful hotel. I felt so pampered.

It is a pleasant area. However the roof top bar has the worst service. Wait in lobby to
Go up to an almost empty patio then after twenty minutes I still had nobody taking our order. Two groups of four seated before us also left. Plenty of other great bars with views, do not waste your time. .

I was very happy with my stay at W. The staff were all service- minded! They really ensure my mum and I had a lovely stay. This would be my number one choice next time!
