Hotel Osimar in Rome

We stayed at Osimar for two nights, we were a group of 4. When we arrived at the hotel after the paperwork the lady told us the room were at the second floor, we obviously asked for the elevator and we were told there was none. We had 2 heavy suitcases and 4 cabins baggage. Since there’s no elevator the hotel could think about someone to help the guests that are in the second or third floor.
There was no drinking water in the room. The most basic hotel in the world provides at least one free bottle. When we asked the receptionist he just told us we have to buy from the bar of the hotel and we can go to the manager for the suggestion we told him to not worry there will be review.
When we came back he told us not to write a review but just discuss with the manager we told him that’s our decision to make.
The client service and overall the stay was disappointing.
Note that from our rooms we couldn’t open the windows blinds or the whole street could see us.

We were scared away on our first day by a group of individuals on the room next to ours. They tried to breaking in and then started smashing their own room and scream. With no contact line to the hotel, we had to wait for them to leave. After two hours of this, we were able to go to the reception in which they simply said that they were just a group and that was no issues. They said they couldn't provide a new room and nothing would be done about them. We them left on same day and got no refund yet. The hotel is not at fault at who books a room there, but they should be responsible at the actions they take when something like this happens. Extremely disappointed.

We arrived at the hotel where to be honest the photos of the hotel are not a true reflection of the place at all. We were greeted with a horrid smell as they were fixing something flys everywhere and the smell of what can only be described as rotten fruit was so overwhelming. The room it's self was dated and bodged. Electric points literally hanging off the wall if you use a charging point it trips the lights very dangerous in my opinion. The whole building is dated and dirty looking We did not eat here as it put us off. The location is about a 15 min walk from the metro which can be rather hilly and I wouldn't recommend staying here if you have mobility issues. The staff were nice but it is not worth the money at all! We will not be returning again I'm afraid.
