Vecchia Roma Resort in Rome

The property was spectacularly clean! It is easy to find, and easy to get to attractions and amenities by walking to and from this location. Our hosts were phenomenally welcoming and helpful, with great advice on how to travel and suggestions for places to eat. They made our stay in Rome a delight!

Our B&B is charming with a wonderful ambiance. Located proximity to restaurants, transportation and sightseeing. Quiet and comfortable during our stay and home cooked breakfast was delicious! Marco & Luca were friendly, accommodating and gracious hosts. We had a delightful stay and it exceeded my expectation. Will definitely recommend this place. Grazie 😊

THIS is the perfect place to stay for first timers in Rome. The location is PERFECT (WALKING DISTANCE FROM ALL MAIN ATTRACTIONS! CIRCUS MASSIMO station connects you everywhere! ). The best bed & breakfast ever (Pistachio croissant is the best!!) Marco & Luca were wonderful hosts. The room was clean, spacious and well equipped. I highly recommend the neighborhood tour with Marco as there were a few places that became my favorito spots to hang out when I had time off from the main tourist attractions! :-)

I could not recommend this place enough! The location is quiet, but in a walking distance from all attractions, restaurants and night life in Rome. The host is so helpful, he gave us the best tips, was patient and served the best breakfast in Rome! His suggestions were by far the best we had, trust him specially on restaurants. The room was very clean, with properly working air conditioning, hot water a kettle and a minibar that were very useful. I would give him and this place 6 stars if possible! Very good for couples, families with older children or friends travelling together. Fair price and great service!

Spent 3 nights in Rome, which we have nothing but great memories of. Our stay was further enhanced by having been based at Vecchia Roma Resort for the duration. From our check in to our check out, Marco, the proprietor, was attentive, and full of sound advice whether it be local restaurants or the best routes to see the sites of the city.

The hotel is in a peaceful and serene neighbourhood and just a short walk to Circus Maximus metro station, literally 5 minutes ride to Rome Termini. Comfortable bed, secure surroundings and wonderful breakfast with sweet or savoury options each day, cooked freshly.

I can't speak highly enough of Marco, he cares intensely about his business and customer satisfaction. If/when we return to Rome, we will be returning to Vecchia Roma Resort.

Quiet area. Location ideal to start visiting the city. Clean, quality, detail and above all a great hospitality. The owner is a source of valuable advice both for the places to see (some really not to be missed, even if not always reported in the guide or included in the guided tours), where you can rest or enjoy delicious ice cream flavours, the most unexpected). We were 3 days (8 - 10 may 2015) and even with the utmost discretion, we can say that we were "pampered".

We stayed four nights at Vecchia Roma Resort and it was one of the best decisions we took when planning our stay in the city. The location is very central yet quiet and not touristic. The Colosseum is 5 minutes walking and the Circus Maximus is around the corner. Marco, the friendly local owner, gave us plenty of local tips in order to have a more pleasant stay in Rome and discover the city like locals and avoid tourist traps. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was very tasty and always served with a friendly smile and chat by Marco. Totally recommended!
