Roma Resort Colosseum in Rome

The shower head was leaking, water sprouting from everywhere. The arms of the sofa bed were very dirty. The kitchen looked like it was in need of repair.
Apart from that the accomodation was in a good location.

The people who took phots of this place for their website deserve an award. The room we had most definitely did not resemble what is shown on the website. There was black mold on the shower walls. The couch in the licing room smelled like a wet dog and the pull out sofa on it wouldnt fold back in making the couch useless. The room had an unclean feeling about it. The location is close to the metro which made getting around town easy, so that's a plus. But the building had graffiti all over the front of it and we had people outside the front until late at night screaming and yelling. Getting in the building for the initial stay was a cluster and communication woth the staff was more of chore than it should be. For the price they charge, this is not where I would recommend anyone staying.

So we had a two bedroom apartment I guess Which is quite roomy, the master bedroom is very big with a big bathroom.
The other bedroom is much smaller.
Kitchen with a table. The kitchen is very very tiny. No safe in the apartment, keep that in mind .
The apartment felt unclean unfortunately.
The curtains had stains, they left an empty pizza box in the kitchen.
The smaller bathroom has a very weird divider - I guess for some privacy , but if you close it from the toilet side- it will be right in your face. Lol
Our major concern was noise. Street noise was so so loud. We couldn’t sleep .
And the worst part was breakfast.
I booked specifically a hotel with breakfast provided.
They had the WORST breakfast we’ve ever had.

So the breakfast is served outside, in across the street cafe. Which is itself very inconvenient. But what you have for breakfast is unheard of -a choice of a croissant or a toast with butter and jam, one fruit, one hot drink, one glass of juice and one glass of water. The croissant was so so bad, very low quality, I had heartburn for the whole day. They gave us an apple ( there was no choice of fruit) - waxed apple that never get rotten. I don’t even know where they got those apples , as fruits and vegetables in Italy are usually very good and fresh. We felt very rushed and not welcomed in that cafe. So out of 3 days, we went only once for breakfast as it was not worth it at all.
I have to admit that when we needed help with our door lock at night, they staff was helping us through the phone.
But I know for sure we won’t stay there again.
