Residence Politecnico Bovisa in Milan

Very poor service - couldn't help me with a simple issue (admittedly my fault) and when I called back to ask for help, they hung up on me and wouldn't answer my calls. Ended up booking another hotel.

The service was the worst I've ever seen in my life. The staff don't speak English or any other language properly other than Italian. And the owner where the worst to deal with. We had to pay 60 euros extra just for being late to check in. The rooms have no AC or even fan. The sheets smell musty and like dead birds. The beds are horrible only 2 nights and I'm scratching like crazy. Horrible experience do not recommend it

Overpriced garage or shed. Broken furniture, not or poor wi-fi, woman long hairs in bed, chewing gums on floor, cold and wet. Heating and cooling system not work. Not included what you ordered on booking. Have not kettle and microwave in kitchen. They even have not iron in reception to give you for some minutes. You must wait about 2 minutes to warm water coming. Sockets away from bed and you must charge your phone on another corner of room and put on floor. As bedside table you must use chair. Wardrobe doors cannot open because close to bed. The only reason to stay here because good connection with Fiera Milano. Station in 2 minutes and just 2 stops to Fiera. If you in Milan not for reason to visit exhibitions on Fiera Milano stay away from this crap. Because owner from Egypt, not Italian, he dont worry how he positions Italy.

I recently stayed at Residence Politecnico Bovisa, and I have to say it was an incredibly disappointing experience. The condition of the hotel was unacceptable; the rooms were filthy, and we found old food and cigarette butts on the floor. It was clear that the cleanliness of the accommodations is not a priority.

To make matters worse, none of the appliances in the room were functioning properly, which added to our frustration. I spent three hours trying to deal with mosquitoes, which made it impossible to relax during my stay.

Additionally, I was charged €30 for city tax and linen. I found it both surprising and disappointing that minors were charged for the city tax, which I believe is illegal. This added unnecessary costs to what was already a terrible experience.

I will not be returning to this hotel and cannot recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and clean stay.

Residence located in a strategic position (a few minutes from the train station) but which lacks or does not work several services such as the air conditioning (on but does not cool) mosquito nets on the windows (mosquitoes galore nearby) and, from personal experience, the power went out for about 40 minutes, but no one responded to requests for information.

Terrible experience! Dishonest and lying managers.

Sunday, July 14 (Taylor Swift weekend!).
In Milan (an adult with three teenagers), we missed our train and had to book an extra night last minute. I booked AND PAYED for a room/kitchen/bathroom through trip.com. I immediately called the hotel to confirm, and they told me everything was in order and that they had received the reservation. We arrived around 9:00 PM. We went to our room, exhausted and tired. The room was on the top floor, in the attic, with two Velux windows that didn't open and a single small window that opened in the living room.
And the air conditioning didn't work (hot weekend, red flag). The room was literally SWEATING.
. I went downstairs to report it. The very kind receptionist told me she would send someone to fix it. So I calmly went back to my room.
After an hour, no one showed up. I went down again to report it, and again, no one came to the room to check it out. At 11 PM, for the THIRD time, I went down to reception to ask for a fix. The receptionist told me she was sorry and that the air conditioning had indeed been broken for at least a COUPLE OF DAYS. And they brought me two ceiling fans into the room (one without a protective net).
I asked to be moved: there were none available. In the middle of the night, with Milan completely packed (Taylor Swift concert and the last weekend of the IDays concerts), and with THREE young girls in tow, it was unthinkable to move us. I pointed out that not only had they left the air conditioning broken for "at least two days," but that when I called to confirm the room, THEY HAD NOT TOLD ME.
So, I asked for a refund. They denied it, saying the refund had to be processed through trip.com. And all this was happening at midnight.

I couldn't move from there now.
The next morning, we left the property shortly after 6:00 (we had a train to catch). Once home, I contacted Trip.com, who couldn't do anything better than offer me a ridiculous refund in the form of a few "points" toward a future booking.

We had a terrible night. I was fooled by the unfairness of the management, who, I repeat, KNEW FULLY that they had given me a room with broken air conditioning. They didn't tell me this either on the phone or upon my arrival, but instead charged me full price.

Therefore, I can only STRONGLY DISCOURAGE that place.
NEVER AGAIN! And, needless to say, never again on Trip.com.
Their management was terrible.

Avoid! "Sudden electricity problems" , despite it being a longterm problem, because someone already mentioned it 2 months ago in a review. Shower is disgusting, electricity is out every few hours, air conditioning is not working, the place feels dirty and so on. The girl from reception is very kind and polite but on the other hand she did lie to us about electricity problems that occured "outta nowhere that day"
