It is a very old property like Italy. I enjoyed the breakfast and the staff was friendly. They can do a better job updating their linens. The bedding and pillows were needing replacement

The hotel is nice, in a classic style, it could stand a bit of modernizing, and it is not as noisy as some report, even when this is variable depending on the day and season

For those who have rented a car, the hotel offers a parking service at attractive rates, and they are in charge of the park and you there back to the requested time

Very welcoming, speak ENG, breakfast varied, room small but clean and pleasant. Ideally located at the feet of the sites of tourist interest

The area is generally unattractive - it’s convenient to walk both to the center and towards the sea. There is a nice park nearby (Villa Giulia)

The room was spacious enough and very close to the train station, located on an old street with an inconspicuous entrance. The facilities were rather old. The staff were quite friendly

What wonderful people work there! Even without speaking the same language, we communicated perfectly and understood each other, constantly joking around. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the train station

Most of the sights and the embankment are also within walking distance. The hotel is very quiet; you can't hear any noise outside, which was very important for relaxing after a busy day

The B&B does not have an external sign, there is only the writing on the bell. It is in fact an apartment in a condominium two minutes from the court. There is an elevator after a few steps in the entrance

In the apartment there are several rooms all equipped with climate and bathroom, furnished with great care but a little dusty ("heavy" carpets for those with allergies)

A great place to stay for a few nice days in Palermo. The bed & breakfast is run by a warm and very friendly couple. We were greeted warmly on arrival, given some refreshments and a briefing on the highlights of the city

The B&B is on the 3rd floor of a block of apartments close to the harbour of Palermo. But what lies behind the lift and front door is a little oasis of calm and perfect welcome from the hosts Daniele and Lory

Property is located within walking distance of Teatro Politeama, the old port, old city and, I would say, everything it counts as a tourist. Great breakfast, clean and well maintained

The breakfast was great, there were bread rolls, cheese, sausage, eggs, fruit, yoghurt etc. But also great high quality pastries from the bakery. We recommend it without reservation!

Beautiful hotel directly across from Teatro Massimo and walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. Room was beautiful and clean, bathroom was roomy and had a big shower

Central, but quiet because they are immersed in the English garden. Very good welcome and good breakfast. The suite is very comfortable, a mini apartment with a terrace and jacuzzi. It is really worth the money spent.

Nice hotel. Outside of historic center but it is easy to travel to any part of the city using busses (a bus passes in front of the hotel every 10 min or so). Several dinning options within walkable distance.

The location was perfect for walking about with lots cute little shops and restaurants. The breakfast menu was great with a helpful staff

It felt a lot like Bourbon Street in Louisiana during the weekend with the street lined with happy people until the early morning. I ended up joining in my last night and had a fantastic time

The staff was awesome and very helpful. Street noise a bit loud. Shower door needs attention. Step down in extra room needs signage. Room 103. Can be very dangerous

The street side room is above restaurants so noise volumes are a bit louder but i was so tired that it did not keep me up

One night we did not have hot water, but it was quickly resolved once reported to the Front Desk. Overall the room suited our needs well. We did not have breakfast at the hotel as there are many cafes nearby

Great location and affordable price. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast with cannoli and brioche. Some light bulbs in my room were not working and the bed mattress with springs was not the best

Room was clean and hotel in an excellent location. Close to shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing. The room itself was a little dated, but well-equipped with a sitting area and kitchen

Repairs and upgrades are underway - we heard construction during our stay but nothing too disruptive. Housekeeping came every other day instead daily (this may be because I'd booked a Studio instead of a regular room)

They turn it off in the cooler months for the whole building! Was not informed of this on check in and after waking in a seat at 1am went to the desk and they told me to open the window

Amazing experience at Albergo Mediterraneo. Right in the heart of Palermo, everything is close by. Big room and great breakfast. I recommend this place and I will come back next time I'll be visiting Palermo.

The Ariosto Rooms are holiday homes that offer different solutions, from 2 beds up to 6 beds the total number of beds available in all the houses is 12 seats in three separate houses

The houses are furnished with good taste and are practically new as they have been completely renovated for just one year. The location of the houses is in one of the residential areas of Palermo, very well attended

The area is full of shops for shopping and all the services needed to get around the city. The tram station is 100 meters from the house and the bus stops are on Via Libertà at about 300 meters

Spatious and comfy room with a great view except for a small shower stall inside my bathroom. Originally I was concerned about the neighborhood but it turned out fine. It's beautiful inside the historic building

I stayed 2 nights in late March. Very nice hosts who deliver breakfast and coffee to the room at my preferred time (thank you! Love the hot coffee and warm crossaints). No problem even I don't speak Italian

Early Dec 2025: Arriving in Palermo as a solo female traveler on a budget left me feeling a bit uneasy at first. But this B&B turned out to be exactly what I needed—safe, friendly, and genuinely welcoming

Hence, there is no need to keep the windows open even in summer, and with the windows closed, the noise il 99. Probably there are hotels closer to the most turistic areas, but I definitely recommend this

Nice hotel next to bus and railway station. The hotel is located at the 5th floor of an old building, quite beautiful in the interior. Albergo Cavour is a small hotel, managed by a very nice host

This place was great! I hidden gem close enough to some busy areas, but not too close that you get a lot of traffic. Our stay was well beyond our expectations.

The gulet is beautiful, spacious and comfortable, the crew, Angelo Guglielmo Gerardo and Eleonora are serious qualified and helpful professionals with whom we spent a wonderful holiday that we will not easily forget

It's a very particular hotel where you stay aboard, surrounded by the beautiful panorama on the gulf and therefore silent. At the breakfast fresh fruit and pastry is served. It's not very distant from the center

Comfortable rooms, equipped with all comforts, you sleep very well. The very rich breakfast is served outdoors in the stern of the boat and becomes a unique experience

Nothing but good things to say about this place if you are staying in Palermo! It's very clean, nice furniture, quiet, has parking, grocery stores and cafe's nearby and helpful staff (some italian helpful here)

They have many size options and the pictures on their website are fair and accurate. We got the larger suite and it was quite spacious

I've always appreciated the warm welcome from the entire staff, as well as the cozy, clean, and well-organized apartments. The view of the city, including Monte Pellegrino, is always enchanting

It's about a 20-25 minute walk to Piazza Rugero Settimo where basically all the tourist activity fans out from. Would absolutely stay here again!

Rooms are clean and moderately siced, theres multiple towels and shampoo/soap. The minibar/AC are somewhat loud (sound turns on/off periodically) but you can still get a good night's sleep

As per the description, it's a basic b&b, location is a bit basic, BUT it serves its purpose, easy walking distance to most places, though the narrow streets are a challenge sometimes,(especially with the traffic, we walked from the local train station, after a flight into Palermo airport

A wonderful place with a near central location for a visiting family to see the historic zone. The closest parking lot is about a 9min walk but if you find street parking that might be better

There is no reception: You get a code for the main door (strangers won't have access to the hotel) and upon calling the hotel, you get your roomnumber (keys are allready at your designated room)

Great hosts and property - standard room was a decent size Just a note for Canadian and American guests, this is not a typical bed and breakfast ! There is coffee espresso machine and kettle available in the common area but no breakfast per se

We didn’t need our car for the two days we were there and the parking in Palemro is tough. Salvatore was kind enough to rent us is personal off street parking stall. Also the breakfast it at a cafe a few blocks away

Nice Palermo B&B Our room at B&B Cubbaita was very nice, clean and centrally located. The lift is fun! The office isn't always staffed, but the manager was there to meet us at our time of arrival

I had an amazing experience at B&B Cubbaita. The cleanliness of the place was impeccable. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, which made me feel comfortable and at home right away

This is the place to stay in Palermo! I had the garden apartment and LOVED everything about it! I felt like I had my home with patio included in Palermo! The breakfast is Ahhhhmazing!!! Andrea and his team took care of every need and were fantastic in giving dining recommendations and other cities to visit as well

Veronica, the host, is a friendly, efficient fount of local knowledge who oversees breakfast with a personal touch answering questions and offering advice about what to see and do

Within a couple of minutes walk to the main streets of Palermo, olde worlde outside and modern inside. Veronica is terrific and pointed us in some great directions.

It offers good sized rooms with comfy beds, well equipped bathrooms, ac and free Wi-Fi retaining some the building's historic character

Palermo is a vibrant city which never seems to stop, there's so much to see and do, and Amarillo puts you right in the middle of it

We had a nice big room. And I enjoyed the cooked to order breakfast. I would have liked more light in the room (personal preference)

Average Appears quite dated however bed confortable and nice linen. We only stayed 1 of the 2 nights we booked as the location was not what we wanted (my mistake)

Check in was slow because they couldn’t find our reservations , but eventually , after a phone call to the tour operator we got our Keys. The room was large with nice furniture , the bed was comfortable

The bathrooms nice size with good shower. The hotel was a former residence and built in a quad with a small plaza with a few tables and umbrellas. It was cute and had a restaurant on the property

The drive to the center of Palermo was easy and the huge parking lot reasonable. There are a few restaurants within walking distance to,the hotel and the beach boardwalk is just a few miles away

I have no idea what it was but we wandered onto the property and took a few pictures when we were approached by security and demanded we erase our pics from our phones on the spot
