Lovely place to stay if you are looking for peace and little connection with the local charm and nature. Kids enjoyed communication with local animals who were as friendly as all the staff. Thank you for your hospitality. ☺️
Cherry on the cake was a stroll along the orange grove (in April) during blossom the air was so sweet that we couldn’t breathe enough of it.

A peaceful place nestled in the Syracuse countryside, perfect for spending time with family. The place has a small museum displaying traditional artifacts from the past, and a small farm for animal lovers. Extremely clean and well-equipped. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and ready to help with any requests. Very close to Syracuse and Ortigia. I highly recommend visiting.

Ambiance of nature was very nice. No drinkable water and coffee in the room. Furniture in the room due to an upgrade. Access to the property not good (4km to eve reach a restaurant).

This is a wonderful hotel farm with animals and beautiful trees. It’s rural but not far from Syracuse.

My only negative is that I booked through Expedia which said I was getting a king bed but in reality the room had a very small double. The shower cubicle was also mouldy. Small things for them to fix.

Christa was a fantastic hostess, and a wealth of knowledge about Sicily. Highly recommend staying here. It's close and easy to get to Syracuse, but away from the crowds. A very relaxing, lovely experience. Great for families or couples.

We - family of four - spent a week there and had a fantastic time. It’s quietly located around 15 min outside of the city. They put a lot of thought into the premises. Staff is very nice and welcoming.

Rural surroundings
The property was in the middle of a rural area with lemon trees, ponies, chickens and peacocks in enclosures. It was a nice change from the bustling city Syracuse.

My wife and I often like to stay outside the busy city areas for a more quiet and relaxed experience. Agriturismo Papyrus did not disappoint. It's a beautiful farm with fantastic landscaping of a large variety of plants and trees. They had a variety of animals like a donkey, peacock, chickens, roosters, ducks, geese, etc. The owner was so warm and Friendly. She gave us such a detailed breakdown of what to expect and look for in Siracusa as a whole and Ortigia. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful every morning. It was nice to be able to relax by the pool and take a cool refreshing soak when the day got really hot. Our room overall was very comfortable and it was very large.

My only complaint was the wifi signal in our room would cut in and out constantly, but maybe that can't be helped in a spread out rural area.

Room was spacious with excellent shower and washing facilities. The place was spotless with the large outside areas well tended. The outdoor breakfast was varied and lovely. The staff in particular were kind, attentive and helpful. The hotel is in a nature reserve so the countryside was spectacular. Quiet in the evenings with a little bar by the pool.
Wonderful.

The owner is a delight! Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and agriculture. The grounds are well kept. It was a unique stay with lots of interesting artifacts on the grounds. We also enjoyed the animals.
