We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights and it was pleasant enough. The property itself is very beautiful, and it should be even more so during summer, with the pool on and good weather. The location is quiet and offer free parking. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is ok, maybe in full season they have more variety and fruits. The rooms are rather dated, they could definitely use an upgrade. The bathroom was big enough but the shower area is old, the doors didn't close well and so water fell on the floor. The main issues are the lack of internet (because the signal is not strong enough and so you get internet only near the window) and the poor insulation of the rooms which allows to hear everything the other hotel guests are saying/doing. For two nights it's manageable but for longer stays it would be very annoying.

It's an amazing place, if you are looking for a toscana feeling, this is the place. Very calm and quite, with an amazing view of the toscana mountains, good food and the service is amazing. The room was very confortable. In the overall it's an amazing place, I'll come back for sure.

We had a very nice stay. Just past a thermal heated pool/pond. That we missed till the last day. The food in the restaurant was very good.,service excellent. Cooler nights . But warm days.

The hotel is just off a main road so very accessible by car. However, we were walking cross country and the hotel’s isolation is a problem. Having just walked 21 kilometres we were looking forward to a cooling beer in the sun. However, we were told that this was not possible until the bar opens at 7.30 pm, some four hours away. There were plenty of staff available to oblige, but a distinct lack of willingness to fulfill what is a simple and reasonable request. Since the nearest town is a 10 minute drive away we were stuck!
One hour later update. A very nice staff member took pity on us and served us some beers. Marvellous!

The place is simply perfect. You get to enjoy the beauty of nature in a peaceful ambiente. The food is great and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. Would recomend 110%. Posto magnifico, immerso nella natura. Cibo ottimo e personale gentilissimo e ultra accogliente.

Arriving at the hotel is quite impressive. A beautiful well kept driveway leading to the back of the hotel where reception is and the unkempt gardens and public areas are quite a contrast... The restaurant.... Please God help me. Having been in Italy now for 6 days and was expecting the same level of professionalism and great food experienced thus far. Alas, this was not to be. The 'manager', charming gentleman is in the wrong business. The afternoon cleaner with the cigarette in the mouth while cleaning the restaurant area. The TV show of years ago 'Faulty Towers' has nothing on this place. The entree, fritters with sage and Calamari, was inedible. Followed with the beef w parmesan and rocket was OK. The tiramisu was OK as well. As an experience.... Terrible... The property has the potential to be fabulous. The staff are all in the wrong profession..

Beautiful property. Good breakfast complete and with Good products (it was just missing some fresh fruits)…
Pool is nice and Garden is marvelous. Location is very good, it is very close to the Francigena road and close to the old Roman pools, only 10 mins from Colle’s center (you feel in the middle of the countryside, but in the same time you are close to the civilization). Hotel include restaurant with a great quality-for-value.

We were here on a cool, rainy day/night. I can only imagine how gorgeous these grounds are in summer! Everyone was so kind and the restaurant was exquisite. Try the tomato soup! Order multiple bowls. You will never have better. Our room was huge! Simply gorgeous location. Would be great for a wedding. The views of Tuscany are gorgeous

A single star to match the only air conditioning unit, in the managers office?!
A cute place, a little dated, but a nice property with quaint rooms and grounds - including a shallow swimming pool.
Other reviews raved about the restaurant but it was never open during our three day stay. They served breakfast: a bunch of sweet Italian pastries and the only hot or savory option was a ham/cheese panini made on a George Forman grill.
You can’t rent a hotel to Americans in 35 deg C heat - who booked the entire property - and not inform us ahead of time that is you don’t have AC (ohh except in your own office!)
Check-in was a mess: it took two people to hand out keys, in no particular order - and the slow down wasn’t for collecting passports, that came later at some other inconvenient time in 35 deg heat.
And having a single tiny fan in the room is well, nice, but I shouldn’t have to choose between plugging in the fan or the refrigerator because there is only a single outlet?!
