The room was very small though, facilities were well maintained. The staff was very nice and yet respect your privacy. I love staying here and wish that having chance of coming back again.

It’s better than my expectation! Perhaps due to the off-season, the room I was assigned was quite spacious, and the air conditioning in the room worked very well for heating. The staff are very friendly and always ready to help. It’s the most satisfying hotel I’ve booked during this trip.

A pristine room with impeccable service. Toilet design is so so but could be made up for with the breakfast and service.

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. It's very retro, right next to the Accademia Gallery, and I absolutely love its style! A vintage Florentine style. However, nothing is perfect. I'd rate the breakfast a 3 out of 5, but everything else was perfect. Plenty of coffee and sparkling water were provided. Every morning before leaving, I filled the bar with orange peel water and ice cubes. You know, ice cubes cost money in Europe, so the service was truly excellent.

I'm extremely dissatisfied. The online rate was clearly lower that day, but if I didn't change rooms, I had to pay extra...
Water wasn't provided promptly, and toiletries and slippers were only given on the first day...
My biggest complaint is the city tax. Hotels in Milan and Venice don't charge city tax for children, but they did. A hotel that's secretly trying to collect money.

The room was very clean and the ceiling was high. There was a small square in front of the hotel, and you could see the dome of the Florence Cathedral from the window. The hotel itself is an old building, giving you the feeling of staying in a castle, but it also has all the modern amenities you need: toiletries, slippers, bathrobes, water, a coffee machine, and a kettle. Especially great was the bed for each of us (a family of three), plus a sofa. Although the elevator was small, the rooms were spacious! It's close to all the attractions, within walking distance of the Notre-Dame de la Défense train station! It's very convenient to rest at the hotel after sightseeing before heading out again!

This hotel is located next to the Academy of Fine Arts, making it easy to see the Statue of David and a short walk to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. There's a large square at the entrance. The interior decor truly captures my imagination of old-world European style. I loved it. The rooms are also spacious. The breakfast room is small but well-equipped. The train station is about a 20-minute walk away, but you can still get there quickly if you enjoy the scenic alleyways along the way. The service was excellent.

The location was great (quiet and close to downtown), the building had a lovely antique feel, the ceilings and windows were high, and the beds were comfortable.
