Canto degli Scali in Florence

We arrived after hours, but Marco provided us with excellent instructions with photos on how to enter the building and arrive at our room. One thing to note, there's no elevator (lift) on the property and the rooms are up three flights of stairs. Take your time on the stairs, especially with luggage.

The room was great! Cleaned daily with fresh towels and the staff was polite and professional.

Everything is within walking distance. Incredible sites, restaurants, shopping and the train station, which we used for a day trip to Verona.

My wife and I loved Florence and felt safe everywhere we went. Highly recommend Canto Degli Scali for anyone traveling to Florence.

Marco, Marco, Marco — he’s your guy! You won’t find a better host anywhere. His place and hospitality are truly unforgettable. We stayed in the Tower unit, and every detail showed how much care and love went into creating this space. You’ll be amazed at how far they’ve gone to make it feel like a true luxury 5-star experience.

We were really satisfied with our apt. It’s really clean,spacious and convenient to all shopping area and important does. Marco and Alessio were so nice and easy to talk to. We highly recommend this apt. And enjoyed our stay in Florence

The toilet is kinda small, the ac didn’t work well. It’d be better if the dining table is lager and not made by glass, the glass table is kinda degrading the overall interior design of the apartment. Or at least can cover it up with a piece of beautiful Italian tablecloth, also there was no placemats for plates. Overall it’s a decent property located in strategic area of Firenze, near to everything. Nothing to complain about.

Amazing apartment in the heart of Florence
We stayed here for 2 nights as a family of 4 with 2 young children. The host greeted us upon arrival. The apartment was beautiful and clean. It was spotless and had a kitchen and daily room service.
The location was perfect - less than 6-minute walk to the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio. The apartment was secure. We were on the 2nd floor and there were two flights of stairs (no lift) but the host assisted us with our luggage.
There was no parking provided but the host was able to guide us at the time of the booking that there is a secure parking garage only minutes away from the apartment, which we booked independently (for 40 Euros a day). We parked our car there for the entire stay and explored Florence by foot/public transport for the two days were there.
There was no iron in the room but the host was able to provide one upon request.
The host was available to answer any queries at all times and was very welcoming and helpful.
We would highly recommend this apartment. Thank you for an absolutely wonderful stay.

The service guy is very enthusiastic and considers the customers. The room was also very clean. The only drawback was that there was no elevator and you had to carry your luggage upstairs. Overall it is recommended

I stayed in three room types, penthouse suite, double room, and two-bedroom.
The penthouse suite is a loft, with a top bedroom, lower bathroom and sofa bed.
The double bedroom has two large beds + a sofa bed. It is very large and can accommodate five people without any problem.
The housekeeper is very nice and handsome. It’s not difficult to carry a big suitcase up the stairs when checking in👍
The only drawback is that the stairs are a bit high. In Europe, the floors are always higher. One floor is equivalent to two floors. The night I stayed in the penthouse suite, I felt that I had to climb 7 or 8 floors before I could enter the bedroom.

The decoration is artistic and the location is good. However, the hotel room is on the third floor of the apartment. The ceiling height of each floor is very high, and the stairs are high. It is absolutely painful to carry large luggage upstairs or climb up to the third floor (probably similar to the 5th floor in China) if you are tired of shopping. We brought 2 large suitcases that day. One of the hotel managers helped us carry one piece of luggage, and I carried one piece by myself. When I climbed up the stairs, I couldn't move anymore.
