Nothing super close, but we stayed here to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Didn’t need to leave the property as the restaurant was excellent!

The hotel is amazing. The AC didn’t work in our room but the staff did everything in their power to fix it and it finally did work. The breakfast buffet was bad. They need to do way better. We’ve had better breakfast selections at a $150 per night hotel. Overall amazing though.

Villa is a great place to stay and rooms are spacious. The only improvement that I would suggest is that the breakfast is either improved or completely removed. I had not booked breakfast as I only have a coffee and a bowl of cornflakes. I could not believe it when asked to pay 12 Euro for possibly the worst breakfast I have seen in over 50 hotels in the past 2 years

I stayed two nights in two different rooms, both of which were spacious. The heating was excellent at night, making the whole place warm and cozy. The pool was covered in winter, but the environment was relaxed and quiet; I could imagine how comfortable it would be to be by the pool in summer. Aside from being a bit far from the central train station, everything else was great.

1- No reception be careful about getting the entry codes The description says 24h reception so I was relaxed thinking all would go smoothly when we arrived around 22h in the evening. The location is good, you can reach many famous attractions on foot, and there are some choices for free breakfast. It is suitable for travelers who like to find a different accommodation experience. The interior of the room is also unique.

Hotel Continentale has a rooftop patio that affords the most stunning views of the surrounding town; sunset here is unparalleled! I chose to stay here for a 2nd year after a wonderful visit the 1st time. This time, I came 4 days early to explore Arezzo. The staff could not be more helpful in pointing you in the right direction for anything you might need to find. Wonderful place, wonderful staff.

very nice hotel, the only reason for not 5 star is that our room was very close to reception and we found it quite noisy, phone ringing early, talking guests and activity. The room was in good condition, except mold in the shower. I also was put in the tiniest room on the property after reserving a premium double room. I was traveling with others who booked the same type of room and had much larger accomodations. For $350 a night, I was not pleased. Fantastic! Fantastic location just across the river from all the main sights. They can be easily reached on foot within a few minutes. The room was spacious and well equipped with modern bathroom. This hotel is a great location to explore Florence. It is a one minute walk to the Doumo and the surrounding area. The hotel's lobby is located on the second floor and is accessible by a small elevator. There is absolutely no parking almost anywhere. We suggest you take a train or the shuttle from the airport. Great location for price you pay, easy to walk to train station even with cases. We stayed in room 305 with a view of the Duomo from our window. The location was outstanding - close to everything and majorly walkable. And being able to se the Duomo from our hotel room was exceptional! The breakfast was ample and so appreciated that it was included in the rate. The rooftop bar was a special place that we visited daily.

There was a lot of “self help” required. The desk shuts down at 5ish and it’s back till around 8. Breakfast is optional at this “B&B”, but it’s only €7. The housekeeping was excellent and the shower was great.

While Hotel Berna may not be the fanciest, most modern hotel in town, it does many, many things right. First, the hotel is very well located if arriving or leaving from the main train station... about a 5 minutes walk, or even less, when you know where you are going. The hotel location, the cleanliness, the safety and the staff, especially Nadia, was great. There’s a lift in the building, the room was clean and a decent size. Was not near downtown Florence, so would not suit someone wanting to be near the main attractions, museums etc. but neighborhood was safe and walkable with great gelato and dining options within short walk. We even were able to walk to the train station 35 ish minutes away with luggage for our departure. Property would not suit someone who could not do stairs.

Staff will introduce nearby attractions to visit, will help with storage and take to the room, will provide maps to assist in finding attractions, friendly attitude. Our room was very large. It had its own private balcony. The room was charming and gave a lovely Florence feel. Staff were wonderful, especially Leonardo. They were friendly and welcoming. We had the best experience at Hotel Davanzati! The location is excellent with access to the railway station and many fabulous places of interest. Hotel lobby is on the 2nd floor with no lift. If your luggage is heavy, be prepared. We got the room on 3rd floor!! My luggage is 16 kgs, so it’s ok for me.
