Nothing super close, but we stayed here to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Didn’t need to leave the property as the restaurant was excellent!
Absolutely beautiful place. The staff was wonderful. We highly recommend.
I was such a beauty with an amazing restaurant attached that served amazing cuisine. Our room had such a beautiful view and we were only a short trip away from the main city. The staff were so accommidating and helpful for whatever we needed.
The staff was so helpful and welcoming. The restaurant was delicious and it wasnt to far from the city center
Huippu hieno Villa Todella upea kokemus, pieni, vain 7 sviittiä. Kaikki aivan viimeisen päälle hoidettu. Upeat isot sviitit. Hieno uima-allasalue. Yksi parhaista...
The hotel is amazing. The AC didn’t work in our room but the staff did everything in their power to fix it and it finally did work. The breakfast buffet was bad. They need to do way better. We’ve had better breakfast selections at a $150 per night hotel. Overall amazing though.

Villa is a great place to stay and rooms are spacious. The only improvement that I would suggest is that the breakfast is either improved or completely removed. I had not booked breakfast as I only have a coffee and a bowl of cornflakes. I could not believe it when asked to pay 12 Euro for possibly the worst breakfast I have seen in over 50 hotels in the past 2 years
I stayed two nights in two different rooms, both of which were spacious. The heating was excellent at night, making the whole place warm and cozy. The pool was covered in winter, but the environment was relaxed and quiet; I could imagine how comfortable it would be to be by the pool in summer. Aside from being a bit far from the central train station, everything else was great.
1- No reception be careful about getting the entry codes The description says 24h reception so I was relaxed thinking all would go smoothly when we arrived around 22h in the evening. THERE IS NO RECEPTION! It is all online and you receive a code supposedly, but I checked my email multiple times and didn't receive any code. No signage about where the entrance was, I called the numbers provided on trip...
It was all really great and I would gladly go back.
The location is good, you can reach many famous attractions on foot, and there are some choices for free breakfast. It is suitable for travelers who like to find a different accommodation experience. The interior of the room is also unique.
This is a wonderful hotel! The female staff is very friendly and has a lovely smile! She also kindly gave me directions to the station! The cheese at breakfast is delicious!

Good! It's a good location and a good environment.
Our room was lovely and super comfortable. This property was close, but not too close to the Train Station and also close to many of the things that we wanted to see.
Excellent location,very clean,great staff,very comfortable bed,great breakfast.
Good location, simple but comfortable room. Perfect location for a night near Santa Maria Novella. Restaurants around, nice staff, simple room.
Friendly staff and conveniently located near the train station. Clean, spacious and comfortable. I will stay again.
Hotel Continentale has a rooftop patio that affords the most stunning views of the surrounding town; sunset here is unparalleled! I chose to stay here for a 2nd year after a wonderful visit the 1st time. This time, I came 4 days early to explore Arezzo. The staff could not be more helpful in pointing you in the right direction for anything you might need to find. Wonderful place, wonderful staff.

very nice hotel, the only reason for not 5 star is that our room was very close to reception and we found it quite noisy, phone ringing early, talking guests and activity. The other small detail is the extra flight of stairs where elevator stops ,(we managed but not ideal for some guests who might find his difficult), room was attractive, breakfast exceptional, and location is perfect!
The staff are very nice and attentive. Amazing room created inside a historical building with nice classic vipe. The room is well kept. Very minor issue if your gadgets are different from Italian sockets. Found that even if i use the international converter, the sockets that are the 3 holes standard in Italy will not work. This means the available working sockets is less (only 2 in my room...
A very nice hotel off of a small alleyway. Great location. The hotel has an elevator. The breakfast was delicious with the dining area overlooking Piazza Signoria. The room was nice, the bathroom was great with 2 sinks and with a large shower but bathrobes were not provided as stated. The room overlooked another roof. A better view would have been preferred but we didn't actually spend much time in...
Overall the property was so nice. The breakfast included with your stay is soooo delicious! That was a real treat. Fresh squeezed orange juice, chef prepared meals, and tasty assorted pastries and parfaits. The staff were so kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to help us. My one complaint. There are a lot of mosquitoes inside of the property. I left with several bites. We killed several...
The staff is so helpful especially the front desk . He’s friendly , polite , have a nice smile despite asking several favor . The breakfast is very good . My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely time. The hotel is spotless and the staff are professional and courteous. The Nightshift Receptionist.was exceptionally helpful and obliging. The hotel is next to nice bars and restaurants. It is certainly value for money and we hope to return next year.
The room was in good condition, except mold in the shower. I also was put in the tiniest room on the property after reserving a premium double room. I was traveling with others who booked the same type of room and had much larger accomodations. For $350 a night, I was not pleased. Also, the A/C was turned off for the year, so I had to open windows and get bitten by mosquitos or boil to death. Food...
The location was great. It was just over the bridge and an easy walk to the city center. The room was clean and the breakfast was a great way to start the day.
Very friendly and helpful staffs, nice and clean hotel. Walking 10 mins to the meeting point if you have tours, close and easy to walk around, just pass the bridge. Would stay here again if visit Florence again. Thank you
Fantastic! Fantastic location just across the river from all the main sights. They can be easily reached on foot within a few minutes. The room was spacious and well equipped with modern bathroom. Breakfast was basic but adequate and the hot options did not get topped up from what we could tell. Overall we would highly recommend

This hotel is a great location to explore Florence. It is a one minute walk to the Doumo and the surrounding area. The hotel's lobby is located on the second floor and is accessible by a small elevator. There is absolutely no parking almost anywhere. We suggest you take a train or the shuttle from the airport. The staff is very excellent, and very professional. This is our second time staying here...
Room is compact and a bit dated but clean. The location is right next to the Duomo and the service is fantastic. Recommend to stay here.
Great location for price you pay, easy to walk to train station even with cases. We stayed in room 305 with a view of the Duomo from our window. Walk out front access and you have 100 yard walk to Duomo many restaurants and gelato stores also. Room was always cleaned to a high standard bathroom very small with just enough room in the shower to turn around. Has a tv in the room but no English speaking...
Could not be better situated. Staff were excellent and very professional and friendly. Room was a little outdated, but it's a base and you wont spend much time in it. Breakfast was good, typical continental which is ideal. Beware of rooftop bar prices! Very expensive but worth it for the night time view. Bar is not associated with this hotel. We stayed for 4 nights and it was worth every penny. Will...
The hotel room pictures are deceiving, specially the bedroom. Great location though. Short walking distance from the Duomo. The rooftop bar has the best view of the Duomo/tower/Cathedral and the staff was incredible, but I think the rooftop bar is part of the upstairs hotel. The location was outstanding - close to everything and majorly walkable. And being able to se the Duomo from our hotel room was exceptional! The breakfast was ample and so appreciated that it was included in the rate. The rooftop bar was a special place that we visited daily.

There was a lot of “self help” required. The desk shuts down at 5ish and it’s back till around 8. Breakfast is optional at this “B&B”, but it’s only €7. The housekeeping was excellent and the shower was great.
The location cannot be beat however the room did not appear to be the same as the photos. It's a bit older and the sound proofing isn't great. They also have very limited working hours for check-in.
Very quiet, clean and great room. Big bathroom. About 13 minute walk to train station. 8 mins to cathedral.
The room was spacious and tidy. Conveniently close to a lot of restaurants and bars!
Perfect location . Located in beautiful building with elevator. Walk to sites all within 15 to so minutea/. Very good sound proofing when windows closed. Excellent AC . Appreciated help with calling taxi when we left. The only possible issue is entering building - have to call by home cell phone so more difficult with eSIM. Pleasant stay, very convenient location with plenty of good eateries and bars nearby. Clean and comfortable bed, could do with firmer pillows, nice seating area in the room. Nice clean bathroom, typically Italian breakfast for 7 euro. Would stay again for the location.

LOCATION: Perfect location from the train station and close to the main market. Florence is rather compact so very close to many things. 10 mins from the Duomo SERVICE: The wifi didn’t work (4 night stay) so if you work remotely that is something to think about. ROOM: It had too many mirrors and we stayed next to the reception so we could hear people at night and they could hear us. They also told...
While Hotel Berna may not be the fanciest, most modern hotel in town, it does many, many things right. First, the hotel is very well located if arriving or leaving from the main train station... about a 5 minutes walk, or even less, when you know where you are going. With the building only having a very small elevator, those with large luggage may have to take a few trips up and down to the floor...
Simple but great. Perfect location for train travelers and to move between nearby cities.
The hotel location, the cleanliness, the safety and the staff, especially Nadia, was great. There’s a lift in the building, the room was clean and a decent size. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was average but certainly functional and clean. Whatever I needed, Nadia and her team were ready to help. I would recommend!
It was very close to the train station. The reception desk is only open from 9am to 7pm. The elevator is very old and can hold one person at a time if carrying luggage
Not the prettiest location, but so convenient to train, and easy walking to all major attractions. The very best part was our service . Nadia, specifically, went way above and beyond to be so helpful, as well as friendly and courteous every day. For this reason, I would recommend hotel Berna to friends!!!

Pretty good clean and nice place, big rooms aswell but bad location...
Was not near downtown Florence, so would not suit someone wanting to be near the main attractions, museums etc. but neighborhood was safe and walkable with great gelato and dining options within short walk. We even were able to walk to the train station 35 ish minutes away with luggage for our departure. Property would not suit someone who could not do stairs.

Staff will introduce nearby attractions to visit, will help with storage and take to the room, will provide maps to assist in finding attractions, friendly attitude. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the train station, making it very convenient to travel to surrounding cities. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the doors are locked at night, ensuring a safe environment.

The breakfast was delicious, but the facilities were the worst of all the places I've stayed in Europe. I was very satisfied with the hotel's location, which was close to famous tourist attractions, and the reasonable price.
There were bugs in the bed, it was terrible! One of the female managers was really disgusting; she insisted the city tax be paid in cash! Is she trying to pocket it herself? I definitely won't be coming back.

I don’t about summer, we stayed in March and the room was so cold and couldn’t make it warm enough. In my opinion if you stay there during summer, you’ll definitely be alright. Shower drain was clogged. We didn’t like it. It shouldn’t have happened in 3 star hotel standards. (Room 9) Complimentary breakfast was good. Hotel staff were nice.
