Relais Uffizi, Tailor made Hotel in Florence

very nice hotel, the only reason for not 5 star is that our room was very close to reception and we found it quite noisy, phone ringing early, talking guests and activity. The other small detail is the extra flight of stairs where elevator stops ,(we managed but not ideal for some guests who might find his difficult), room was attractive, breakfast exceptional, and location is perfect!

The staff are very nice and attentive. Amazing room created inside a historical building with nice classic vipe. The room is well kept. Very minor issue if your gadgets are different from Italian sockets. Found that even if i use the international converter, the sockets that are the 3 holes standard in Italy will not work. This means the available working sockets is less (only 2 in my room). But that does not change the overall pleasant experience.

A very nice hotel off of a small alleyway. Great location. The hotel has an elevator. The breakfast was delicious with the dining area overlooking Piazza Signoria. The room was nice, the bathroom was great with 2 sinks and with a large shower but bathrobes were not provided as stated. The room overlooked another roof. A better view would have been preferred but we didn't actually spend much time in the room. Staff was friendly.

Overall the property was so nice. The breakfast included with your stay is soooo delicious! That was a real treat. Fresh squeezed orange juice, chef prepared meals, and tasty assorted pastries and parfaits.

The staff were so kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to help us.

My one complaint. There are a lot of mosquitoes inside of the property. I left with several bites. We killed several in our room, and there were mosquitoes flying around at breakfast and the staff at the front desk. So that was a bummer, but besides that everything else was lovely.

The staff is so helpful especially the front desk . He’s friendly , polite , have a nice smile despite asking several favor .
The breakfast is very good . They have delicious home made pastries and bread . They cook the eggs , any preference as part of the free breakfast .
They have freshly squeezed orange juice , which is not common now a days in European hotels. They used to , but a lot of the hotels omit that now . They give you now box orange , which is not good for you

Great stay at this hotel highly recommend we would definitely return. Clean chic walkable to everything all the great sights and places you would want to see are within a few minutes walking distance.

The location is excellent and within walking distance of all major attractions. Staff and breakfast was excellent, they prepared and packed breakfast for us on two mornings when we had to leave early for day trip and for early flight. The only thing is entrance is a bit tucked away which is actually good. Felt like luxury rooms and bathrooms to us. Now if you are used to Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons this is still a 4 star tailored hotel (not a 5 star) and for us the service was 5 star!!

WOW! What a wonderful staff we encountered at Relais Uffizi, Taylor made Hotel. I was sick with food poisoning when we arrived early on our checkin day. Dahlia & Lorenzo were phenomenal in helping set us up in the lounge until our room was ready, provided me with soothing beverages and were quite attentive.
Once our room was ready, we settled into the beautiful black & white decorated suite as an upgrade. Needless to say I slept most of the afternoon, and the staff checked on me several times through the evening.
The hotel is incredibly clean, well decorated, and the breakfast each morning was very tasty! Lorenzo is the pastry chef, and Gina was out server most mornings. Both with wonderful customer service skills.
The property does have a lift/elevator, and it was much appreciated. The entire staff, from the front desk, kitchen & cleaning crew were wonderful!
The Relais Uffizi was the best place we stayed in our 2 weeks in Italy, not only for the perfect property location on the piazza by the Uffizi, but because of the staff. A /5 star rating. We will absolutely return for our next trip to Florence!!

It was a great experience. It was so close to the main tourist attractions and the room was comfortable and stylish.
