Good location in Florence, in the center of the city ,10 minutes walk to the train ·
The rooftop is perfect.
I took the tram from the airport and walked from the nearest station (Firenze Santa Maria Novella St.) to the hotel without any problems.
I took the old, narrow elevator to the 4th floor, where I was greeted by a friendly hotel staff member and shown to my room. The room was very small, and the shower room/toilet was also very compact.
It had the bare necessities so it was not a problem for me.
I heard...
The hotel is located in the historic center, right next to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. If you can get a room on the north side, you'll be able to see the cathedral from the window, especially at night. This is probably the hotel's biggest draw. I booked it after seeing this on Ctrip, and the price is quite reasonable. If your room doesn't have a view of the cathedral, don't worry; you can...
Although it looks a bit dated, it is very clean, like living in Florence a hundred years ago. Everything is very good, the service is also very good, the location is also very good, and the view is also beautiful. Everything is great, the only downside is that the internet is a bit poor, and the shower water pressure is unstable
Although it wasn't the Duomo view room I was expecting, I could see the palace's clock tower outside the window.
Also, it was great to be able to eat breakfast on the terrace with a view of the Duomo.
The room was clean and the staff were all friendly.
Good place to stay in Florence. Very close to the Church. And you would have a breakfast with great view. It’s worth to stay in although the facilities a bit old.

Good location, walkable to train station. Very basic but clean. Room was very small. Staff were kind, friendly and helpful.
Air conditioning was strong, bathroom was narrow and dated, mattress was hard and pillows were flat. Location was excellent and close to train station. Oh I forgot to mention there’s no elevator. WiFi was weak. Staff was great.
THIS was the best place ever to stay because first they had free candy and the tv you can watch YouTube and other stuff unlike the other tv where u can watch only the tv that live and it right next to the Dave museum and duomo the first stuff was for kid under 13 but after that it was the stuff u like to see so it good for everyone
Amazing stay such kind staff and very clean. Washroom is a little narrow, no fridge, and towels didn't get changed. Location 10/10
Very good for the price staff super friendly and helpful a little bit small so maybe not for the largest people but for the average person amazing. Great location very central and great view of duomo from higher floors. I love hotel Romagna
2 things :
1. No elevator. We were on the 4th floor which is actually 5th coz they start with level 0.
2. The entry way is covered with an ATM machine which is hard to get in.
Otherwise the price you pay is proportion to the room you get. We’re thankful though we were given a separate beds for 2 person.

Great stay at this hotel. The guy on reception couldn’t have been more helpful. Clean and comfortable room. Great location for visiting historic sights.
Great hotel, service at the reception is very attentive and helpful.
Room is spacious, bathroom toiletries - one 5 ml bottle of shampoo and conditioner, not enough for family visit for sure, needs improvement.
Room is clean and tidy, you can open the window to hear beautiful sounds of night Florence - opera singing in our case and enjoy fresh and crisp air, beautiful view from the window and quit place...
This is a two star hotel for a reason. The climb to the third floor isn’t fun after all day wandering the city. The walls are thin! You can hear your neighbors easily. But the staff is friendly (and will carry your bags for you) and the rooms are clean. All in all a decent budget option.
Exceptional service offered by Aldo, in the reception desk. Offered thoughtful insight and recommendations. The hotel does not have an elevator. So you’ll have to walk all the way up or down to where you need to go. Bathroom was clean and modern.
Tucked in a quiet alleyway, this hotel is on the first floor. You have to ring a bell to access it. Reception is open from 0800-2000. You will be welcomed by friendly staff, offered coffee and water when you check in. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Rooms have A/C, tea and coffee making facilities. Bathroom is contemporary, clean and well maintained.

My kids and I had a wonderful stay. The apartment was very nice and clean. Directions for checking in were clear and the staff was very helpful.
I did not see anyone/ employees. I did not know how to get open front door. Another guest told me to use QR code. Luckily my phone works in Florence, the first time (to get second floor access). When I called the hotel again, to reach an employee, my call did not go through. I tried to call via the website and using country code, no luck. I wish I had known prior, about how to access entry into the...
Wondering staff. Apartments need updating and bathrooms are barely functioning. One had no hot water. Needs a paint job and updated cleaning and bathrooms
Loved every detail! Great communication with staff!
Clean, good location, perfect service
I really recommend this place. Our room was clean and nice. The location is perfect that we could walk 15 minutes to center and historic places. The staff was really supportive. We only stayed here one evening on a brief stopover between Rome and Florence. A beautiful medieval building with amazing windows. The hotel's location was excellent. Whenever I got tired while sightseeing, I could return to the accommodation to rest before heading out again. In particular, its proximity to the station meant there were no restrictions on getting around.
Its near the train station and walkable to the city center.
The staff are very friendly.
But there is no elevator but they have arranged the first floor for me as i am taking the big luggage myself.
There will be a bit noise at night as its near the center.
The hotel is a bit old but its okay for short stay.
Nice clean place, near train station and few minutes to the landmarks.
The room was clean and I enjoyed using it.
No elevator, u will be suffer if u have bag luggage. A good hotel near a station to stay one night or two thats all
Hotel Spagna! What a location and such friendly staff. So close to SMN station and to all the closest attractions. The staff are very friendly and check in was so easy. They also are very well informed and helped with recommendations for food/shops. The only "issue" I faced was that the wifi wasn't working for 2 of the 3 nights that I was there.
Highly recommend.

Very kind and helpful English-speaking staff. We were allowed to leave our luggage after check-out, so we didn't have to drag it with ourselves before the coach. The room was comfortable and had enough space for two people. Clean and cosy, it is worth the money you pay. Sometimes, it might be some noise from the street, but you generally come to Florence not to stay in your hotel room for all the time...
A decent place to stay in Florence! Not so far from the city center. The bus to the center is almost 500 meters from the hotel and when you return the bus leaves you right on the street of the hotel.
A little cold sometimes was in the room.
All the people were nice and friendly. They waited us late that day till we arrived.
Go for it! I recommend it!
We were a set of three people and stayed for two nights. Everything was clean and the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast had enough diversity and was good too. The bedroom is a bit on the smaller side but it's perfectly fine if you're only there to sleep 👌🏻
Vera nice small hotel.
Good services.
++++
Stay was good, friendly staff. Breakfast nothing special. Location not great but not far from city center. Overall good but not exactly worth the price
+ Rooms are ok, good Wi-Fi and air conditioning, breakfast is included, the price is really adequate
- limited amount of shampoo so you cannot take shower twice a day even if it's +40 outside. Looks like that rooms are cleaned only if it's asked (out was not when we came back and we had to ask shampoo on reception), the room next to the reception has bad noise isolation

The place was nice and quite.
The hotel is extremely well located and it is very much worth it at this price. We had a few minor issues (most notably that the light in the bathroom turns off automatically after a few seconds, including during showers), but this may have been specific to our room.
I loved our stay here. The owners and staff were very kind and helpful. Would highly recommend!
Great spot and location, very close to the central markets. Very responsive staff - will need WhatsApp prior to arrival to communicate as there is no front reception

Everything was perfect, great location clean excellent air conditioning
The facility is beautiful with signs of being an old world inn. The brick, stucco and lovely flower beds have great visual appeal! The staff has fairly good English skills. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the bar. Nicely appointed room with a huge TV.
We arrived on foot, walking from the Metro station at 10 pm, passing several working girls. The property is gated so we felt very safe on site.
Lovely staff, nice place with good transport links. Self check in is a life saver when flights get delayed. Outstanding internet speeds.
We appreciate the room's spaciousness and cleanliness, along with the presence of air-conditioning, which is great. It is unfortunate about the shower doors which is hard to slide and the moldy wall around the shower. Also, was only provided shampoo and no body wash, but that's ok. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, it was close to a tram stop, and felt safe.
The building where this B&B is located is absolutely stunning, the location is amazing, walkable distance to the train station, city center and many other places. The communication with Maria made the stay even better. The dining options near this place were great.

Extra basic. Coffee machine did not work during our stay...

Great location. Air conditioner worked perfectly. After walking from the train station with our luggage, being hot and exhausted, we had to wait 12 minutes outside because she was booking a new reservation. We had a great time in Florence and nice apartment in the heart of the historic city. Landlady was very nice, helpful and polite, she offered us help trying to find a bus to Pisa because railway was in strike. Also, we could leave a luggage in the apartment. Kitchen is supplied with toast, coffee, tea, cheese in a fridge, available for the breakfast. Recommendations for choosing this accomodation
I stayed 3 nights and had no problems. Small family run property. Walking distance to station and all of the city attractions. I didn't have breakfast. Wi-fi was good. Owner's Son can speak good English. I am a solo traveller and all in all I had a comfortable stay.

It's alright, the price is about what you'd expect.
These are guesthouses or inns converted from old buildings. The hallways are rather simple, but the biggest advantage of the rooms is that they are spacious. There are staff on duty during the day, but no one at night. For the price, they are quite reasonable.
Small and a bit run-down, but for the price, you can't expect much more.
It's quite a distance from the station. The road was rough dragging my suitcase, and the hot weather made it a bit of a struggle. The building is shared with other facilities (probably hotels), so there were some inconveniences when entering. Still, it was a decent hotel. I stayed for one night.
Normal location close enough to both the station and the center, but this is not a hotel, but rather an apart-hostel with separate rooms, reception only from 8 to 22, late check-in (at 12 midnight) is paid 25 euros, linen is clean, quite neat, for 1-2 nights it's ok
Very well located, very friendly host. I recommend it!

A great stay in a fine hotel the room was spotless and in a great quiet location . The breakfast was quality. The hotel is close to a tram stop which will take you to Florence city centre. But if you want to walk it's about 1 km. A great stay in a fine hotel and city recommended
Great room in a nice building close to transport - tram. Or 25 minute walk to the main railway station. Lovely attentive staff and a great choice for breakfast too. However if you have a room on the street side it can be noisy in the evenings and you can hear others walk up and down the stairs as they head out or down to breakfast.
Relais Stibbert was just a 5 minute walk to the Tram line that took you right into the heart of Florence within 15 minutes which was perfect for us. The B&B is a gorgeous old building with all original features including the amazing tall windows and shutters, high ceilings, not to mention the marble floors through the property and white marble staircase. Reception girl ( sorry I forgot the name) was really awesome. She contacted us on WhatsApp to many times and then she makes easy for us. Thank you!
The villa was very peaceful with a wonderful garden! No elevators so it was very hard to carry our luggage up and down three flights of stairs. Very secure.
Accommodation on ******* but NO reply from host regarding my booking; despite a number of messages sent. Warning that driving through the entrance gate is challenging; and is only possible with a small vehicle. The villa is charming, old world with a lovely garden and nice breakfast. Spacious room and has a lovely bath tub. Good value for anyone needing to be near Careggi hospital❣️
This B&B offers spacious rooms and excellent free parking. It's ideal for self-driving: drive to the Parcheggi Spa Parcheggio Parterre parking lot and walk to the city center. The breakfast is simple, not as good as other hotels.
If you have been to Florence before and don’t want to stay in the hustle of the city centre, this place is perfect. It was well located that we could see a couple of Medici Villas, close enough to get to Florence if we wanted and truly exceptional staff! The only downside was it was hard to get our car into the gate and the bath was tiny, as a larger lady it was not fit for purpose.

I was so disgusted this hotel.

The room was okay for the price. Located near the main train station SMN. However there is no elevator so you’ll have to carry your heavy luggage up the stairs.
It’s not a hotel. Feels closer to a hostel with personal rooms? The room did have a private bathroom. It’s “clean” & towels are provided.
The check in process and all communications is via WhatsApp. Make sure you check in with them early, before arriving to the city. They look annoyed if they have to help you, but were helpful nonetheless.
There’s quite a few steps to maneuver. The keys are interesting...
The hotel is just a 2-minute walk from S.M. Novella Church.
It’s a small place with no elevator and limited services, which is understandable.
The main issue was check-in — no instructions were given, and there’s no front desk. It’s a self check-in with a door code, and I had to call them to get it.
Overall, it’s okay if you understand it’s a small hotel.
I don't know why i sleep well in this hotel , even there's some review who said this hotel is creepy. But for me, its not scary. Yes, its dark in the alley and the room is old. Bathroom is not in the room but at other room next to bedroom, but its private.
Front resepsionis is nice and she explain everything to us.
The room was just okay. Flat pillows and water temps were wildly inconsistent, pictures are different from how it looks, staff not often there (not that we needed assistance, but if you do..) but overall it was fine. But, chances are if you’re looking at this place that location is the main consideration. And the location is fantastic. Great spot to walk around the city from.
Perfectly located in the heart of the city, yet surprisingly quiet thanks to its courtyard-facing room. The space was spotless, equipped with all the essentials, and featured an en-suite bathroom with a wonderfully warm shower. Plus, the communal area was spacious and had plenty of seating—a great spot to relax or get some work done.

We stayed here for a few nights and the place was exactly what we needed to roam around Florence. It was clean and there were all of the basic necessities (towels, soap, clean sheets). Our room had a beautiful view and the building has an extraordinary accessible terrace with a 360 view on Florence. The owner was nice and welcoming!
Fabulous location, a couple of stories by foot (3). Not exactly glamorous but great for a budget trip.
Great location, but no aircon in the individual rooms. Go in cooler months, and ask for a room away from the Main Street (we had a lot of noise from the busses). However, very decent for a cheap price- good choice if you want to be close to the centre of Florence.
PROS: The owner Andrea is very friendly and helpful. The property is just two steps away from every thing and close to many restaurants appreciated by the people of the internet (we never used public transport). Quiet room, private bathroom with hot water and high pressure, old floors, comfortable mattress, plenty of space to hang clothes, big tv with many channels, distributor free water (bottle)...
