Nice hotel close to santa maria novella station, modern room, space for improvement
The hotel is not far from the train station and various attractions. I didn't take public transportation for two days. The room is quite large and the area is well divided. There are brochures introducing the history and attractions of Florence. The front desk also provides tourist maps. There is free afternoon tea in the afternoon. The overall experience is very good. The disadvantage is that the...
Hotel location is good, only 12 minutes from train station and within walking distance to other main sites. It is a super clean boutique hotel with a small garden inside which highlights it's attractiveness. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We needed to leave the hotel early for day tour and asked for two breakfast bags to be ready early morning. When we approached the reception at 6:45 am,...
Although my room was small and austere, the included breakfast on this beautiful terrace garden more than compensated.
Very good location and the staff is also very helpful. Great place to stay on Florence.

Staff very friendly and room clean
No drinking water facility especially in winter , need hot water for drinking, even blankets need a request, only local TV channels, simple lighting, also the elevators should be having some maintenance
it is around 6 minutes walk from the tram station. around the property there is nothing much to do. the room is spacious but quite old. for how expensive accommodation in Italy. You had to trade convenient with cost. it is still a decent stay.
Very very nice location! The end of the line from vila costanza. No need to worry about transport

The hotel's location is good, though not very close to the city center. We were warmly welcomed by a lady who treated us very kindly, but the hotel itself is unfortunately a bit old and outdated. The carpets and bedding are very old, but despite these issues, everything turned out well in the end.

Super convenient location with great service and very helpful staff
EXCELLENT place to stay if you’re visiting Florence and want to be in the heart of everything.  first time to Florence and this place stole my heart. it’s the best accommodation across the main 3 cities of Italy i’ve been (venice, florence, rome) and the attentiveness from the staff were amazing. the room is extremely clean and perfect.  no complaints except that the bathroom floor might get slippery...
Very good experience. Would highly recommend the stay.
The hotel is easy to find, about 15 minutes walk from the station. The hotel lobby and corridors don't look very good, but the room is still very good, big and clean. It's just that it's next to the cathedral and the bell rings at 7 o'clock. However, this bell can definitely be heard in all hotels nearby. It's a bit noisy in the city center, but it's good overall and worth staying.
Very satisfactory hotel, the room is large, the double bed is very comfortable, two children each have a bed. The jacuzzi and shower are large. The minibar is free of charge for pure water, sparkling water, sparkling wine, red wine, biscuits and chocolate. The location is right next to the Duomo, and all the attractions are within walking distance. The service is warm, the English is very good, and...

the hotel is rather old, you will have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs before even reaching the hotel lobby. the check in process is slow as the counter guy will be busy talking away with his colleague and taking his time while doing your check in (it was the same for every guests) the shower head is very heavy and falls off easily and the towels were dirty. one good thing is that hotel...
This is the loudest hotel I've ever stayed in. I didn't get any sleep all night and woke up with a terrible headache. There's a railway right outside the door. It's incredibly noisy, and it's that low, vibrating kind of sound that's hard to describe. The breakfast was delicious, but I'll never stay here again. If you're looking for an all-nighter, book this hotel – guaranteed you'll be wide awake until...
The hotel is very close to the train station, just a 5-minute walk away. It's also conveniently located within a 10 to 15-minute walk of attractions like the Duomo and the Accademia Gallery. The next morning, it was less than a 2km walk to the Uffizi Gallery, where we managed to get early bird tickets for 8:15 AM. The room was spacious, and the breakfast was excellent. Overall, it offers great value...
Hotel is very close to Florence S. M. Novella Station. Our room, which is a triple room, is spacious and has a balcony. Staff are polite and professional. Good breakfast.
The room was sufficient for a 2 night stay, the staff were lovely and very helpful, but the room was worse than expected. Very very noisy from the trams and trains outside and the shower head wouldn’t stay on the stand. I would recommend for a quick stop over stay but would avoid if you’re planning to stay for more than a couple of nights.  The location is great though, just opposite the station it...
This hotel is in close proximity to the train station. The front desk is very helpful. The room I got was large. Its not a luxurious room, more like a hostel grade room, but you get everything there including a kitchen.

Centrally located and well-styled hotel. Walking distance to major tourist spots and train station.
I booked a single room, so my review is based solely on my experience in that room: Everything else was great, and the front desk staff were very welcoming. However, the soundproofing in the room was absolutely terrible – practically non-existent. I could hear every word spoken next door crystal clear. The TV blaring in the neighboring room at 1 AM forced me to stay up, and then when they woke up after...
My stay at this hotel was very pleasant. It's conveniently located close to the train station and within easy reach of the attractions. The room was clean, and a nice bonus was having a coffee machine with capsules and a tea station. I also appreciated the complimentary candies and cookies with the coffee. I arrived by an early morning train from Rome and left on the last train the next day. I was...
It's right next to the train station, within walking distance of the Florence Cathedral (Santa Maria del Fiore), and about a 10-minute walk from the Uffizi Gallery. The breakfast is delicious; I ate my fill every day! The facilities are a bit old, but very clean.
Everything was perfect, all the stuff are friendly and very helpful 🥰
The loft-type room was very nice. The interior was classic and very lovely. My kids were delighted. There was also a balcony, so we could relax and enjoy coffee after breakfast. The breakfast was delicious, and when I told them I wanted to use the room earlier than the regular time because I was leaving early, they gladly agreed. I am very grateful.

I loved staying at Atlantic Palace. The receptionist was very polite and friendly. I also really liked the location — it’s very convenient and within walking distance to the main attractions. The room was quite spacious for the two of us, and it came with a kettle and basic amenities.
Beautiful place, really enjoyed staying there. Great location nearby everything you need, very attentive staff. Only issue was when the man who brought our luggage that was stored with them he dropped it hard on the floor so could’ve damaged fragile stuff inside the bags. But everyone was kind and helpful. Beautiful view from the room, mainly in the toilet room with the view to the Duomo.
Friendly and supporting staff, good quality rooms, nice view, good location to city centre. The only issue was the noise in the morning due to construction. Other than that, was a nice experience.
I’ve stayed here a few times and I appreciate that this hotel has a great location, clean rooms and friendly and very helpful staff.
Was ok. Generally the property needs refurbishment. Starting to look tired inside. Booked for the charm but shabby isnt charming. Poor nights sleep due to loud lift motor. Staff were friendly, hotel had character but showing wear and tear. Bed comfortable, shower hot and strong water flow. No coffee making facilities in room. Unfortunately the lift noise wouldn't allow a full nights sleep.
Excellent stay Very nice rooms and breakfast area, and staff were all great. Overall great experience at the Hotel Atlantic Palace.

We had a beautiful, clean room with many amenities. The breakfast was excellent with a wide array of choices. Staff members were professional, friendly and helpful. Excellent location for walking to many Florence attractions. Highly recommend.
Central location for this stylish hotel. Unique decor (on a watch/clock) thyme, friendly staff, clean spacious room and a great top floor breakfast room with views over the piazza. Can’t fault it and would definitely stay here again.

During my stay at Hotel Roma, I was deeply impressed by the hospitality. Special thanks to Eleonora and Silvia at the front desk for their outstanding service. The hotel is pristine and situated in an excellent location. I look forward to staying here again in the future.
Our stay at Hotel Roma was absolutely perfect. The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of everything we wanted to see and do. The hotel is quite close to the Accademia Gallery, but it's a bit of a walk from the city center, like the Duomo. The room and service were both great. There's a T2 bus stop nearby, which makes it pretty convenient to get to the train station in just a few stops.
This hotel exceeded my expectations! The facilities are brand new, and they provided a generous amount of complimentary snacks and drinks. The breakfast was genuinely excellent, with a wide variety of options – I ate until I was stuffed! Highly recommended.
Excellent hotel, good facilities in the room, free basic spa
Loved our stay at IQ Hotel Florence! The location couldn’t have been better, and the hydro plunge pool was such a treat after wandering around the city all day. Big plus for the free goodies in the minibar 🙌 and the room was super clean and comfy. Would definitely stay here again!
The hotel facility was excellent, the decoration was modern. Service was great too. The location is close to the attractions, but yet not too close to the noisy crowded environment, major tourist attractions within walking distance of 15-30 minutes.
Short walk into town. Bit of a longer walk to the river. Tram stop right outside, which goes to the train station and airport! Lovely staff, we’re so kind and smiling! Free minibar was a bonus. The location is excellent — within walking distance of the train station and very close to the city center and major attractions, including Florence Cathedral. We booked a room for two weeks for September 2025 online on the Hotel Porta Faenza website and we got a great room on the top floor as requested. I’ve been a dedicated independent traveller for over twenty years and can vouch that Hotel Porta Faenza is truly exceptional in the value it offers for your money. Great location. Furnitures are a bit old. Breakfast included.
Our room was on the first floor (which required climbing three flights with our suitcases). The room was disgusting! 1. It was very dark (one window overlooked a narrow, dark street) and cold: the heating system in the room was broken, and they later gave us a fan heater, which was terribly noisy and dried out the air in the room, drying out my skin and nose, and causing a constant sore throat. ...
Quite a big room. Just a bit troublesome if have suitcase cos lift is on 1/F.
It's less than a ten-minute walk from the train station, and there's a PAM supermarket right outside, making shopping convenient. Breakfast is prepared by an older woman who's very busy. The place isn't big, with only about eight tables. The selection isn't extensive, but it has everything you need: ham slices, bread, fruit, and yogurt.
Friendly and helpful reception and wonderful location. For those with cars , it’s going to be a bit expensive to find a parking near .
Great staff, updated amenities, and great stay!

Typical European boutique hotel ... small & cozy. But this hotel was pretty dated & in need of some repairs & renovation. We were supposed to get adjoining rooms as we were 3 with a special needs daughter. They initially placed us in 2 rooms, one in the 1st floor & the other on the 3rd floor! But glad they were able to find 2 rooms opposite to each other on the same floor. There were cracks on bathroom...
The location was decent, and the city center was easily walkable if the weather was good. Taking the tram was also a convenient option. I was very satisfied with the room's condition.
It's what I would call a "boutique" hotel in an older building. The room I was in showed slight wear, but this did not detract from my experience and the property was otherwise immaculate. All staff I encountered were excellent. The location is great - close to excellent transit and fairly easy walking distance to the heart of Florence.
The service was excellent, and we found it offered great value for money. The price for our breakfast-inclusive stay was very reasonable, and the breakfast was quite good too. Although the room felt a bit dated, it was fully equipped.
This was a great boutique hotel and we had a fantastic time staying here for three nights two weeks ago. Rooms are very well appointed, breakfast is great and the location is within a 1-1 1/2 km walk to most key sights in the city, but also right on the tram line in case walking isn't desired. Highlights are clearly the rooms themselves and the wonderful garden bar that you can enjoy for drinks before...

Our favorite hotel in Florence. The location is literally a few steps away from the train station and bus station. Prices are affordable and has a decent breakfast spread, not just coffee and cornetto. Look for Roni, very hospitable and also ask him about his resto recos.

The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were all friendly. This was the most satisfying accommodation I've ever stayed in Italy. It's a bit further down the road from the station than I expected, and the walk is quite long, especially with a carry-on suitcase, but everything else was satisfactory.
