Great place very well kept high standards . Comfy bed , large rooms and nice ensuit. Greeted fantastic on arrival with maps and knowledge of what and where to go. Secure parking on premises with electronic key for the gate. 4 min walk to Lucca walled city. Plenty of relaxation areas around the Building and private. Would highly recomend this stay. Bikes to hire at a great price or just walk.

This B&B is a true gem!
A beautiful town villa with beautiful and cozy rooms, a beautiful garden and a lot of attention to detail.
It‘s owner Luca was super friendly & welcoming, always available for recommendations and other questions.
We really enjoyed our stay!

It is a beautiful house, very cozy with a very cute, old-style decoration, the rooms are very clean and with all kinds of details, from a mini fridge with drinks and soap and a toothbrush in the bathroom, the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is very complete and with all kinds of variety.
The truth is that it has been a very pleasant stay and excellent service.

Our stay at Villa San Donato was great. Luca, our host, exceeded expectations in every way. He picked us up and dropped us off at the train station and gave us excellent advice about what to see in the old walled city.

The location was perfect. Only a few minutes walk to the gates of the old city. It was perfect to walk off dinner every night!

Coffee, fresh fruit and pastries every morning On the balcony, in the garden, or inside if you choose.

The room, and the inn, were spotlessly clean and the mattress is our room was super comfortable.

Luca and staff provided all of the essentials for a fabulous stay! The room was lovely, breakfast replete with a delightful array of tasty sweet treats and savories. Bikes were great and we loved the gardens. Superb experience. Will absolutely be back on our next trip. Grazie mille.

Amazing helpful people, upon arrival showed us all the recommended hot spots to visit and restaurants to try... Highly recommend. Location is a short walk to the walled city and the breakfast was delightful outside in the backyard garden.

Lovely place just a 10 minute walk from the old city walls. Genuine friendly hospitality, a spotless room (with a kitchen in a cupboard - amazing!), in a beautiful and cosy old townhouse with tiled floors and high ceilings. Plus parking space for cars. Genuinely surprised that this place hasn't got a higher rating!
