Boutique Hotel Ilio in Marciana

My wife and I spent a few days on Elba and stayed here. The service, from the friendly and helpful check-in to the friendly and efficient breakfast servers, was excellent. It takes about five minutes to walk to the beach from the hotel. Our hotel room was clean, everything worked fine (e.g., fan, AC), and the bed was comfortable. The room was a little small, so it was necessary to pay attention to storing baggage, wet clothing, etc. In terms of small, the parking spaces are made small by the design of the posts supporting the parking shelter. There is a lounge area outside that is pleasant but gets quite hot later in the day, as it doesn’t have much shade. In brief, I liked the place, but it is not in the category of luxurious. If I stayed for a complete week, I would seek something larger, including considering the suite here.

Wonderful location, wonderful staff and wonderful room. Had a great view of the water, breakfast was great and the staff incredible!

Very comfortable, beautiful view of the beach nearby with balcony.Friendly, helpfull staff.Breakfast catered for all ..great selection.

A decent choice
We had a group stay here and it was pretty good. The hotel is a close walk to the main beach area and they are friendly and helpful at the front desk. Rooms feel a bit dated to me. While rooms are nice and clean, they could use a refresh. My partner liked the firmness of the bed and I felt it too hard, anyways we slept because the days were long so I was happy to come back to a clean place to rest my head. There is a zero noise tolerance at the hotel after 10pm, a few of us were sitting out in the courtyard having a night cap and were told to shut it down, that was disappointing because it didn’t seem we were being overly loud or disrespectful. So just a heads up on that - it a quiet resort. Breakfast was great, nice options for many cultures.

Most generous host, and the personal was extreamly helpful. Beutiful rooms garden and view. Close to the nice beach of Santa Andrea.

Strongly recommend this hotel!

Charming little hotel a short walk from beach in Sant Andrea. We stayed in their least expensive room and it was good value - clean and comfortable with a view on the beautiful gardens. The staff was wonderfully helpful and welcoming and they served a great breakfast. Some other reviews noted that the beds are hard and they are, as are the pillows. Better pillows would be enough for me to give this 5 stars as an excellent little hotel for its price class.

Elba is beautiful!!

Great place to visit if you’re looking for a quiet remote location

Staying at hotel ilio was amazing! Maurizio and his staff were so accommodating and helpful to us. They gave us great suggestions for activities and places to eat. The town of S. Andrea was charming and you could walk to many restaurants and the gorgeous beach. The hotel was beautiful as well and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet every morning. We had apertivo on the terrace and enjoyed the gardens as well. Highly recommend!
