Badia il Vingone is a magic place. The location is absolutely amazing with an unforgettable view over the Tevere valley. This is a very, very old abbey converted into holiday apartments. Enchanting place and perfect base camp for visiting Umbria, Tuscany and Marche. Lovely place with very well-kept swimming pool and greenery. Very nice, kind and attentive managers. General cleaning excellent as excellent is the kitchen (mid-August lunch nothing short of gargantuan). Highly recommended for dog owners who can run around freely here. I'll be back!

I didn't stay in a room; I just spent a day at the pool. Weekend admission is €10. The pool is a classic rectangular shape, not particularly large. When I went on Sunday, it was certainly a bit crowded for what the place offers. Many people weren't wearing swimming caps, especially girls who had dyed their hair anyway. I have been going to this business for some time, but I only enjoy the restaurant. The dining room has a huge fireplace equipped with side seating. It is very pleasant, in winter, to dine with the fire behind. The cuisine is simple, typical Umbrian and well prepared. You can also enjoy an excellent pizza. The value for money is good.

Staff very kind and also available for luggage storage at check out and advice. Dated structure. Carpet in the rooms and not all with air conditioning. Very very large quadruple room, mattresses that can be improved. Great price, abundant breakfast, very limited choice in the salty, abundant in the sweet (most products in single pack). Beautiful rural setting surrounded by Umbrian countryside with wooded hills on the horizon. Staying in a Borgo was a first for us and felt like being part of Italian heritage. Perfect getaway! There’s no denying that the staff made this oasis in the countryside a perfect place to relax. Yes, we hired the electric bikes and explored the local sites, and wandered further by car, but places like Perugia, Gubbio, Assisi and Sienna were an easy day trip. The grounds are so large that it feels like a private resort. The view of Assisi from the garden is the highlight of this accommodation. The rooms are of a reasonable standard. The owner is kind and nice. I visited in the winter, but I would like to visit again in the summer to experience the pool and restaurant. It is located at the entrance of Assisi Village.

What a great experience. I was able to book directly with the hotel and canceled my third party booking to save money AND have a room with scenic balcony. I can't say enough about this castle. The pasta dish I had was probably the best I had on my entire trip and that included 5 days in Roma.

I can’t praise this hotel enough. This is the best hotel we have stayed at and we have been holidaying in Italy for 30 years. Definitely somewhere I would recommend and would plan to come back to. It only has 18 rooms so is never busy. There are beautiful outdoor seating areas with shade and bar service. Just wonderful.

I cannot praise the staff at Hotel Centova enough. Our car broke down when we arrived and they went out of their way to assist and make us comfortable in what was a stressful time. The hotel is comfortable, clean and convenient to the motorway.

Spent three nights here with my partner while we explored the area. The room was comfortable and centrally located to many small towns. The Air Conditioner worked like a charm. This is a welcoming, traditional, family run hotel in the heart of the old centre. Friendly staff helped get the heating on, offered advice on where to go and helped us park the car. Freshly baked bread for breakfast and lovely crisp white sheets.

We had a wonderful stay at Portica 10. The hosts are just lovely, kind and welcoming. The facilities are well kept, clean, organized and cozy. Location,location! The hotel is very close to all sights. Carmine and his wife run this hotel and take great care and pride in its upkeep. Breakfast is delicious with Carmine's wife making the daily bread. The hotel is modern and new within ancient travertine construction. We loved our stay here.

Wonderful villa, brand new and quiet room, spotless bathroom. The park and swimming pool are fantastic and have an unsurpassed view of Gubbio. Delicious breakfast served in a super charming room. This is a beautiful B&B, such modern rooms built into an older, lovely building. The owners are terrific and helpful. The breakfast is small, but satisfying. Only negative comment would be the first floor rooms, located right off the small lobby/breakfast area, are quite loud when guests come and go. Request a room on a higher floor.

Very nice hotel close to everything. Parking lot was a plus. Extensive breakfast. If you stay in the apartment, know that it is accessed separately from the hotel up a cobblestone alley, is in a large, brick, vaulted room and does not have windows. We liked it but it may not be everyone’s cup of tea.
