This is a quaint family villagio close to the hill-top Town of Montefalco in the heart of the Umbrian countryside. The rooms are super clean and each have a little ground floor terrace. The family owners are very friendly and can't do enough to help - nothing is hassle! This is a great base to visit other beautiful towns like Trevi, Assisi, Spello etc, but a car is required. Beautiful hotel with a swimming pool situated in a great location between Assisi and Spoleto. Friendly staff and tasty local wine which is a mixture of Merlot, Sagrantino and Sangiovese. Really good for families with kids. In the restaurant you can eat many local dishes and the quantity is more than enough.

This hotel and spa is a hidden gem! It is located in a amazing spot away from the noise with beautiful facilities and a very spacious room, the spa is just so relaxing and the staff very thoughtful. I totally recommend this place for a getaway or after traveling through Italy to relax and recharge during the route. A true place for wellness.

Wonderful experience. Rep was helpful, easy to communicate. Relaxing. There are no air conditioning but the rep lend us the fan, and it was ok and has a nice breeze.

Only met Gianna briefly but she seemed very kind. The apartment was very clean and well organized. I was especially pleased with an adjustable thermostat to control the heat. Traveling in winter I find myself forced to open windows to cool the room, but this was very easy and reliable. Windows had wonderful views and interior shutters to darken the room completely - not even the annoying smoke detector...

Gianna, the reception manager, is a warm, welcoming introduction to Castello Izzalini; she is helpful and responsive to your needs and makes great recommendations for destinations, tours and activities in the area. We use the Castello as a base to explore towns in the area -- Todi, Deruta, Morre (our most recent find), Orvieto, Perugia, Foligno, Gubio, Spello -- all less than an hour's drive away...

Our apartment was cozy and nice. Well ventilated for the early summer heat and our host, Gianna, was quite nice helping us move in for the week. It has all you need to support yourself and family for the week. Lots of room to move around and get outdoors.

Good location with a car, to explore from. Building: cool old renovated building with spacious rooms..Good views and good restaurants within a few feet. BUT, no amenities on site. Need to use this as a home base to reach locations in Umbria, but wouldn’t want to come to stay on property all day.

The beauty of the place, an ancient palace is breath taking. The countryside around is incredible... The lady at the reception is so peaceful and professional, so human. We loved the whole village around and its atmosphere. Worth the trip. Do not miss it.

Handy position for station. Hotel is opposite station. Very handy. Our train was cancelled due to a strike. So needed somewhere just ti stay the night. We booked around mid day and just walked over intending to leave our luggage but room was ready. So we’re able to use the room.

Property across the road from train station. 50 m to train and bus stop. Room clean. Bathroom clean. Facilities ok. You get what you paid for. Stayed in early December. Heating was turned off at around 9 pm until around 6am. Not a perfect situation. Otherwise happy with stay.

We stayed at this delightful family run hotel in October. The location is fantastic- easy to access and within walking distance of squares, cathedrals, shops, restaurants and markets. Very nice little hotel. It makes me feel like I'm in Italy. The views from the 3rd floor balcony are very good and plus there is a friendly cat who lives in the hotel and is open to petting. The towels leave a little more to be desired, as they are very thin and are very utilitarian. But I guess maybe one should go to a hotel with more stars if they would like softer towels. Somewhat dated furniture but basically all you need to spend a week or more with or without kids and pets. large swimming pool. Good for walks and cycling adventures. We had the most magical time at this one-of-a-kind agriturismo. The location and views are magical, the staff is fantastic, attentive and kind, the amenities are great, and the food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast is amazing! Il Poggio degli Olivi is based in a wonderful location. The pool area, views of Assisi and surrounding areas, main reception building and restaurant were all excellent. The menu in the restaurant was small but food and wine were excellent. Bed was comfortable and air con worked well. We were provided with an excellent folder of local information. BUT......... Things fell down in the state of the accommodation...

A beautiful place where you can relax and sit in the sun, far from the noise and crowds.. the food is amazing, and the silence makes everything perfect.

All in all more then worth the money we paid... The place situated among an olive Grove over a huge area of greens and country feeling. The rooms are OK and the service fine. The property is a bit dated, but very well-maintained and clean. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast is superb, plentiful, and fabulous. It's easy to get to, with convenient private parking, and well-connected to Orvieto, just a few kilometers away.

The hotel is a little dated, with small rooms and worn furnishings, but overall it's convenient for visiting Orvieto, especially if you have a car. The hotel has a large parking lot and is five minutes from the Campo della Fiera multi-story parking garage, where escalators and moving walkways quickly take you to the historic center.

This was an economical choice for one night. The hotel is dated, but we didnt mind as it was a bit of a time capsule. The dining room itself was charming. The breakfat was fair. The room was small but the bed was comfortable.

Excellent location in the edge of Bastia Umbra, set in its own landscape. Rooms are in the first floor with views of garden or Assisi.

Really varied breakfast with many sweet options, including homemade cake, but also cheese and cold meats. The staff was superfriendly and you can speak English with owners. Large garden, friendly dogs, fenced, secure area around the house and convenient shadowed car park. There is lot of handouts, guides and maps of Umbria, Perugia, Assisi available.

I felt there was a language barrier on arrival…we were given just a key to room, we were not given wifi code or any other information. but after then all staff so helpful. We stayed here for 2 nights. Room normal to small size, very clean and comfortable. Hosts amazing - it is more like B&B. Huge breakfast. And good parking. If you have a car - that’s your option. Driving to the city center takes 7 minutes (to payed parking)

Very friendly and helpful staff! Even with limited English spoken, they managed to help and make our stay welcoming and comfortable. I love staying at I’ll Duomo because it’s in the best location in Assisi—adjacent to San Rufino Cathedral and Square; and one mini walk to the main plaza. The staff is friendly and eager to help.

We stayed there for 4 days in August! A well-kept place, very friendly hosts, and I'd say everything was quiet! Convenient for getting to places to visit Gubbio, Assisi, Perugia, etc.

L'alloggio era molto grande e pulito. A disposizione molte brochure e biglietti da visita per organizzare al meglio le uscite durante il soggiorno. Zona piscina ben organizzata con ombrelloni e sdrai. La signora Daniela molto carina e premurosa nei nostri confronti, in quanto purtroppo durante il mio soggiorno sono stato poco bene.
