Very nice location in the center, but the room was very small, with a small heater. For a 4-star hotel and the price paid, it was quite inadequate. Good breakfast.

Close to the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi. The upper city is narrow and slightly steep. Breakfast is also decent.

Nice hotel within walking distance from Assisi center. The room was cold and tried to put heating on did’t work, i went to reception and then they said they’ll turn on electric heater, but not much difference it did’t really warm much, was making fore AC. Room was nice and clean. Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing too, not much variety and limited options, was expecting something better considering...

A one night stay. One of us was allocated a basic room with very old bathroom and shower and the other with a much better appointed room. The hotel is clearly very old and has lots of history. Overall a good stay.

An interesting former palace with spectacular views over the Umbrian countryside. The hotel was perfectly located on one of the main historic roads yet was quiet. Very easy walkable access to all major sites. The buffet breakfast was excellent with fresh honeycomb, delicious cheeses, fresh fruit and cake and the usual hot options.We highly recommend and would stay again.

Ideal location, halfway between Basilica San Franceso and Chiesa Santa Chiara. Everything in Assisi was within short walking distance. Crucially, the hotel had 10 parking spots directly in front, which allows entrance into the ZTL (otherwise forbidden). Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Booked the "family room," which was huge and had a great view. Great value.

We spent 2 nights at La Tavola. The rooms were excellent, food, home made wine and beer fantastic. The location is excellent in the hills above Assisi. The hosts Riccardo and Alessia went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, it is a shame they have now moved on lucky we enjoyed their hospitality for their last days, we wish them well in their new venture.

This restaurant was a pleasant discovery. Far from the inhabited centers and immersed in an incredible peace just above Assisi following the road that climbs to Monte Subasio and arrives in Valtopina. Perfect location, amazing place and people

We were a family of 6 traveling to Italy for the first time. It was our first time booking an Agriturosmo, and we were a bit skeptical. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner and his son, from the moment we walked on, we were treated like family. The property was stunning, and the rooms were very comfortable. Ilaria and Paolo were the kindest people and we enjoyed spending time with them at dinner...

I stayed here for 5 days during a retraite. In one word it was amazing. The Family that works here and all the other people make this place heart warming. I was staying here for 3 nights with my Overseas Adventure Travel group of 12. We were very pleased with the attention we had from the greetings by the owners, 2 brothers and their parents. Their restaurant was very accommodating and the food was delicious. The hotel is within walking distance of the sights in Spoleto.

Absolutely delightful one night stay. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are so comfortable. The airconditioning was the best I had in my two week stay in Italy (and 100% needed because of course I was there when it was unseasonably sweltering). A very nice place to stay in Spoleto. Very comfortable, and Anamaria was such a nice person to us. We were driving a car, so the distance to all the tourist spots and restaurants was not a problem for us.

Pleasant and quiet residence perfectly maintained, clean, furnished with care and with refined furnishings. It is a great place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The view of the lake and the pool are the best part of this place. A great advantage is also full equipment, various types of kitchen accessories or refreshments (cookies, juices, water). It's good starting point for visiting Perugia or Assisi.

Three days to escape from everyday life. Surprising welcome .... kindness and cordiality received from the first moment. NOTHING is missing inside the apartment. Hotel located in the historic center therefore excellent location. Overall excellent stay very clean room, only flaw for being a 5 star, I would have preferred rooms with better care in the furnishings ... from the bathroom came a bad smell of sewer not at all pleasant! This hotel is in the perfect location in Perugia. It is just at the edge of city center, making everything convenient. Several times during our stay we just took strolls up to the fountain area. Pros: Great location at the end of the main pedestrian walking street and opposite the Rocco Paolina. A place to relax away from the chaos. Perfect

Nice place and wonderful real castle where to spend time and have very good time in Umbria, the green heart of Italy.

Overall, we definitely had a good time, two unpretentious nights. The cleanliness could have been better; we quickly threw away the table runner because it was dirty. Overall, though (perhaps because we were tired), we slept well. The room was quiet and well-lit. The price was fair (it couldn't have been better, perhaps even a little less for a small double room).

It's a good hotel for short stays. The gentleman that runs this place is friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but the bed was a bit uncomfortable. The general info about the hotel says that it has a restaurant in site which isn't true, since it was closed.

Good location, 10 to 15 minute walk from train station and the funicular and has a good view of the hilltop city of Orvieto from below. The included breakfast was fine.

It was an average room with no Internet, we had to go downstairs to use it. The staff was somewhat friendly in the beginning but that changed pretty quickly once we asked about the Internet not working. On a positive note the location was great.

Stay in Fabriano We really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious. There is a large shower. The outdoor courtyard gives a welcome space outdoors. There was an amazing cooked to order hot breakfast included. Which gave real value to the booking. It is convenient to walk into the historic city. There is good parking accommodation. Staff are very attentive to your needs and welcoming.

Our family sojourn at Hotel Sacro Cuore was exceptional. We stayed almost two weeks and loved every minute. We had a wedding of 60 people and had the most amazing time. Rosella and Andreina were extremely organized and accommodating. This place is truly magical; you get the feeling that you‘ve gone back in time. We stayed overnight in the fortress and the rooms are clean, spacious and beautiful. We visited the Castello di Petrata for a wedding. The grounds are beautiful and it's a great location to explore Assisi. Just 15 minutes by cab from the town. Peaceful and secluded!

Wonderful surroundings. Very old building beautifully kept but be aware that it means you get creaking floor boards and noisy plumbing - all adds to the character! Receptions staff really helpful - just wished the serving staff smiled occasionaly.

Just spend 3 days at the most romantic wedding. The staff at Petrata know their weddings. Everything was perfect. The location is wonderful. You don't get a more romantic backdrop for a ceremony than the view over the hills and Assisi. The food is excellent and the service smooth and efficient. Only negative is in the rooms. Possibly the noisiest aircon we have ever met. And the showers - the water...

A place tucked away from the center of Assisi. The sign makes it unclear whether it's a hotel, a B&B, or a boutique hotel. The building hasn't been modernized, with a late 1960s/early 1970s style. The rooms are small and cramped. The breakfast is decent. The price is fair considering the structure.

Hotel caters for one night coach tours. Who leave early so get up earlier. No sound proofing between rooms and we could hear every word spoken plus their phone alarm woke us up at 6am!!! Typical dated decor. Dark wood furniture damask bedspreads and plates on walls!! Breakfast was unimaginative, fruit hard and unripe and basic plus they were continually setting up for the coach tour lunches clattering...

we liked the property of this hotel. we felt that we were in a country side. we couldn't lower the air conditioning as it was 24 degres. we are used to have it at 20 degres.

The hotel was easy to find and only a short way from the walled city of Assisi, where parking is available so you can walk around easily. Location is great: close to Assisi and to Santa Maria degli Angeli. The rooms are simple but comfortable. But what I loved the most is how friendly, accommodating and flexible the hosts are. I had a great stay.

What a place to find by chance! We had a superb meal, as well prepared as if this had been a home and presented with friendly care. We felt very much at home and will certainly return if we have the occasion. P.S the selection of Umbrian cheeses and fantastic home made preserves is highly recommended.

All staff were helpful. Has 2 restaurants one like a “proper” restaurant and the other more like a pizzeria/bar. Both very good. The hotel is sited just a short walk from all the main areas to visit. And not very far from where to take a bus. Taxi access to hotel door. Internet works well. A good value for money hotel. Would stay again quite happily.

It is located on the opposite side of town of the St. Francis Basilica, but it is only a short walk from the C bus station. The bedroom is spacious and clean. We even had a small terrace. The bathrooms, however, are small. The service was excellent. The restaurant had high quality meals. Just a lovely spot.

Pilgrims and a decent room We were looking for an affordable room in Assisi so we didn’t need luxury. This fit the bill. The best thing about it was the restaurant in the hotel, which had excellent food and groups of pilgrims.

Ours was in a basement with a small cellar-style window (window) that looked out at floor level onto a small terrace (in another room?).
