It was an excellent location to visit the Basilica Saint Francis. The parking was free and incredibly close. I have been in Assisi many times and I’ve never found such great parking. The owner was very communicative via WhatsApp and he was very helpful. They held our bags for us for the day and were very accommodating. The location can’t be any more central.

Nothing can beat the location of this hotel. It’s like 2 min by foot to the Basilica of St Francis. Staff were helpful and friendly. However, there is no front desk staff at all times. You can call the number for the hotel and someone would be able to assist. Great value small hotel in a small hilltop town with stunning views of lake Trasimeno. Very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms were clean and simple with all the basic necessities. Very good breakfast buffet by the pool.

Lovely quaint peaceful old Italian hotel, we really enjoyed our stay there and the food was delicious. They would lose a little bit of charm becoming slightly more commercial but it may make them more profitable.

Wonderful view over lake Trasimeno, and fine cuisine with local goods, and dishes may be changed according to the wishes of the guests, even if there aren't many vegetarian/vegan dishes since it's typical Umbrian cuisine.

A most charming host welcomed us and gave us all the info we needed, including where to find the adapters for UK plugs and explaining a bit more about Terni. Apartment itself is large and equipped for longer stays, which we did not really get to use, stying only one night. Bed is comnfy, there is aircon, bathroom is nice, there is fridge. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great but you could hear everything from the other rooms. I heard one guy snoring all night, a lady talking till 1am, and a television. I couldn't sleep from all the noise.

It was a totally out of the box experience for myself and my two sons travelling g from NZ to the Italian countryside for a family friends wedding. The castle was just stunning. Generous breakfasts included in room changes and the accomodation was adequate for the three of us. Views to die for-an hours drive to Perugia/Assisi and 30 to Orvieto. Staff are keen to please and accomodating.

Tremendous experience - staff are extremely helpful, the room was lovely and extremely large, and the wedding we were attending was held magnificently - especially considering there was a small medical incident while we were there.

Friendly helpful staff. Quiet clean room. Wish they didn’t feel they have to put up a sign at breakfast that says essentially that if you take seconds it will be added to the bill. Our holiday in Umbria just ended, and we stayed at the Casalta farmhouse. We were happy we chose this property because it's beautiful. What I liked most was the superb view and the friendliness of the staff. Rooms are quite big and air conditioning allows you to warm it up in case it gets cold. We stayed at this agriturismo as guests at a wedding in Gubbio. The breathtaking views, tranquility, large pool, generous breakfast, impeccable cleanliness, comfortable beds, and above all, the owners' hospitality made for a wonderful weekend. First weekend of September in Gubbio and overnight stay in this place structure pleasantly surprised us! A few km from the city, surrounded by greenery, panorama and maximum tranquility. Would of been a top rating, but the breakfast where lacking finnes, mostly sweet stuff.? The TV lack any English channels. But the rest where 10/10. Room, restaurant, view, and service, absolutely fabulous.

We just had a lovely visit to Orvieto and stayed at this fabulous B & B. It’s in a perfect location for touring Orvieto. So many places to eat at your doorstep. It is very clean and breakfast downstairs at the bar was great with excellent selection of breakfast sweets, meats, fruit and coffee. Would stay again.

This place is great. The owner Serena is very nice and welcoming! Clean rooms and great location. It is right on the main tourist avenue, so can be noisy at night with the window open. Very nice B&B with newly renovated rooms, and soon it will be the turn of the bathrooms. Free parking about 100 meters from the B&B, and just outside the walls. Excellent and varied and complete breakfast. Nice friendly staff always available! There is also a restaurant but we arrived on Monday closing day and we couldn't try it. In any case, excellent structure and highly recommended.
