Wonderful Hotel, with lovely clean room and amazing rooftop views from our balcony, and within walking distance from the main attractions, great experience!!!

Nice hotel, first time here. Helpful staff, good breakfast. Near a nightclub, so not the quietest place on a Friday or Saturday night, but we enjoyed our stay nonetheless. Clean, comfortable rooms and reasonable prices.

Grand Hotel Italia apparently just opened, and it was a fantastic experience! It's a beautiful hotel with knowledgeable and friendly staff, oversized rooms, and upgraded bathrooms. They kept some of the most beautiful parts of the old hotel, including the lobby and staircases, but everything else is totally new. The hotel breakfast was amazing--the waffles had the freshest, most incredible berry compote...

We were met by a gentleman who's name is Maurice,  he gave a lot of information and advised on places of interest and great significance to the area. We later checked in, got to our room and although it seems old it is very comfortable and spacious. We also have a large bathroom with a double shower. Breakfast buffet was lovely,  plenty of variety. The Accommodation has an elevator which is a winner...

The view from the balcony was amazing and the staff there were so friendly and helpful. There are lots of stairs (if you're on the top floor especially), so if you're like us and have heavy luggage then it'll be challenging. But beyond that, it was wonderful and I highly recommend this hotel (and the restaurant next door!)

The property was fantastic, very comfortable, nice amenities, in the middle of the city, and amazing staff.

Very nice location in the center, but the room was very small, with a small heater. For a 4-star hotel and the price paid, it was quite inadequate. Good breakfast.

Close to the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi. The upper city is narrow and slightly steep. Breakfast is also decent.

Nice hotel within walking distance from Assisi center. The room was cold and tried to put heating on did’t work, i went to reception and then they said they’ll turn on electric heater, but not much difference it did’t really warm much, was making fore AC. A one night stay. One of us was allocated a basic room with very old bathroom and shower and the other with a much better appointed room. The hotel is clearly very old and has lots of history. Overall a good stay.

An interesting former palace with spectacular views over the Umbrian countryside. The hotel was perfectly located on one of the main historic roads yet was quiet. Very easy walkable access to all major sites. The buffet breakfast was excellent with fresh honeycomb, delicious cheeses, fresh fruit and cake and the usual hot options.We highly recommend and would stay again.

Ideal location, halfway between Basilica San Franceso and Chiesa Santa Chiara. Everything in Assisi was within short walking distance. Crucially, the hotel had 10 parking spots directly in front, which allows entrance into the ZTL (otherwise forbidden). Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Booked the "family room," which was huge and had a great view. Great value.

For those 2 days that I was in Perugia in this hotel I have to say that I had a good time... I recommend it to you...

Set quite a way out of Perugia town, a car is needed to access this hotel in the hills. It is a little step back in time. The room fixtures are early 70s and there’s nothing super fancy here, but it is a charming and relaxing stay. The room is spacious but the bathroom is tiny and really needs an update. The distance to the centre is not accurate comparing the website. If you hire a car , it can b3 a short distance to the centre however by walk it’s a good 25/30 min up hills with steps. Exiting the hotel there are lots of steps and in few min you get buses A/B/C to station and close to centre.Breakfast is basic and shower is tiny but equal on the price I paid. I would recommend if you bite a car

Just an overnight stay in this hotel and glad that it wasn’t longer. Didn’t really like anything about it except the bed which was comfortable. The WiFi was ok, the electric sockets were the 2 pin rectangular type.

This hotel is an immersive experience and  should be celebrated that way. Imagine travelling back to the 1970s to relive a taste of those years before we all realised we had trashed our planet and internal organs. I was staying here for 3 nights with my Overseas Adventure Travel group of 12. We were very pleased with the attention we had from the greetings by the owners, 2 brothers and their parents. Their restaurant was very accommodating and the food was delicious. The hotel is within walking distance of the sights in Spoleto.

This is a lovely family-owned hotel. We stayed in one of the recently renovated rooms which was very comfortable with a well-designed modern bathroom. A gem. Lovely views , authentic feel to an Italian village with a minimal , tranquil setting. Go here to relax and feel an old town, don't go for vibrance , which is what we were avoiding for this part of our trip, so perfect. Amazing hotel. The amazing town of Bettona was the perfect start to our holiday. The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Views from the terrace were superb. Brilliant location near the airport, Assisi, Perugia. Breathtaking views. The restaurant is superb Nd serves wonderful local cuisine. The breakfast is sumptuous, especially the range of baked products. Sprkling clean! Staff were great, friendly and happy to oblige. They provided many extras like finding a yoga mat.

Everything was great from the moment we got there beautiful room, beautiful staff, friendly staff, beautiful great food great customer service the only one thing that I didn’t enjoy. Nothing really stuck out for me at this hotel as being anything above average. I didn't find the staff to be overly friendly or going out of the way to make my stay anything special.

Not easy parking, but i am very disappointed becuase I had to leave the hotel 2 days before scheduled , and they couldn’t reinburse any money. They say ******* didn’t allow them to do it. ******* knew about the change of dates before I arrived to Italy. Not fair at all.

Excellent old style Italian hotel right in the middle of the medieval centre of Gubbio. Parking is an adventure, but once that is sorted you can enjoy Gubbio at you doorstep. The rooms are dates and so is the hotel, but it has character, great friendly staff and perfect location to everything you need for a few days stay.

Very relaxing and regenerating hotel not too far from the city with a beautiful nature park, swimming pool, gym and conference rooms. Awesome and tasteful restaurant. Rooms are clean and spacious but need a bit of renovation. TV and wifi are working fine. Really suggested.

Perfect getaway! There’s no denying that the staff made this oasis in the countryside a perfect place to relax. Yes, we hired the electric bikes and explored the local sites, and wandered further by car, but places like Perugia, Gubbio, Assisi and Sienna were an easy day trip. Good location in Spoleto with adequate parking. Room was quickly made up— items like soap missing and floor was not dusted. Few outlets and desk staff sometimes just not there but when present, they were helpful. It’s more of a business meeting place.

The hotel is at the edge of Spoleto. Since Spoleto is not big, even then you can be in the city easily by walk only in 10 minutes. The view is great and the place is quite quiet. The rooms are spacious, comfortable even for 2 people. It must be a great hotel some decades ago, now already a bit obsolete. This was a great hotel with excellent service and an amazing restaurant in a good location in Norcia. We enjoyed our stay there and it was a central location for touring. Norcia is a beautiful town with great restaurants. It was worth the stay.

I have been traveling in Tuscany and Umbria for the last 2 weeks. Of all the places I went this hotel alone made a difference in my travel. Wonderful owner, service staff and chef they are the EPITOME OF HOSPITALITY. It made me realize the next time, I am planning an Italian vacation it will be in Umbria. We have stayed here before but this was the best stay yet. Our room , 107, was the same level of cost as previous stays but seemed particularly quiet. Nice historical palace located by the main square close to the Abbey. Our room had a great view on the valley, room layout and fornitures are in line with the historical building. This is a family owned and run operation and the hospitality was fantastic - they gave attention to every detail and made our stay a life time memory. We had the five course dinner under the pergola and evening skies and it was spectacular. The breakfast was also super. Wish we would of stayed for more than one night. This is a lovely hotel right next door to the airport. I had a 5 minute walk which is incredible. The staff are very polite and very accommodating to my limited Italian. The food was excellent, and the wine was reasonable. I would DEFINITELY stay again.

Due to illness we had to cancel our trip just 3 day's in advance of our arrival. Officially for a cancellation within 7 days before arrival ,a cancellation penalty is due. However they were so generous to cancel our planned stay without a penalty!

A nice resort built on a hill overlooking Lake Trasimeno, branded as a romantic resort but open to families with kids, sometimes spoiling the experience. The resort is spread between rooms in the main building, some too close to the restaurant, and others detached with more privacy. We have not been very lucky as some insects left us with annoying bumps but overall the place is in a very nice location...

An amazing view and situation on a hill surrounded by olive groves. Each room is unique, all built of original stone. The staff friendly and helpful and a great restaurant to top it off. We did not have time to use the spa facilities, but definitely a place we would like to return to.

This place is an experience not simply a hotel! Far off the beaten track BUT worth the treck. The setting, atmosphere, food and wines, swimming pool and the view are all amazing. They also have a wellness centre which you must book in advance and is totally private for you and your guest(s). However, the heater for said swimming pool is located opposite the headboard of our bed, so during the course of the night you can hear the machine working away with a constant humming sound, which, during the night is greatly amplified. Very nice rooms, with an optimal bathroom, everything clean. Staff very helpful and speaks English, very polite and even nice! Right next to the historic centre, so you can walk everywhere. Offers free parking, albeit a bit weird to get there.

We chose this property mainly for its location to the train station. We used Foligno as a base to visit other locations, and the location is perfect. The breakfast is typical Italy- lots of cakes and pastries. No complaints - I’d recommend the hotel

Very easy parking, very close tobthe city centre

Very nice and affordable hotel in the heart of Foligno. The service is way above the number of stars that it has on the front door. We were treated with white gloves from the get go. Furthermore, we had a problem misplacing the electronic key very late at night and the concierge came all the way where we were having a dinner party to bring a spare… this is the kind of service that you don’t get anymore...

You can count on a restful and comfortable stay at La Terrazza after exploring Assisi or the surrounding region. The staff are always responsive and helpful. The breakfast had good choices. La Terrazza will be our choice to stay when we return here. 

Our stay at Hotel Ristorante La Terrazza was perfect for our 4 day visit to Assisi. The hotel is an easy 10-15 walk to town but there is also a bus stop at the hotel with a bus leaving every 30 minutes. The accommodations were clean and modern. We especially enjoyed the pool in the afternoon after a busy day exploring Assisi. Would highly recommend Hotel Ristorante La Terrazza to anyone visiting Assisi

Stayed here on our honeymoon and it was awesome! If you need to get into the town of Assisi, there is a bus stop less than 2 minutes from the hotel. If you want to just stay at the hotel, enjoy the beautiful view and their pool, you can do that too. If you're on a romantic trip, see if they have the spa available for the private session, it's worth it!

This is our second vacation here at La Terazza in Assisi. This time, our visit coincided with World Youth Day. There was singing and dancing within the walls of Assisi. It was wonderful. Then, we could come back to LaTerrazza for a wonderful swim with fantastic views and peace. The Hotel is very new and a perfect mix of old stone and crisp clean white walls and newly remodeled room. Will stay here...

A wonderful place to relax with your family and small company. You can visit the lounge area with pool and jacuzzi. You can also go cycling in the surroundings.

Everything was ok but my room had a strong smell of cigar!
