Charming farm stay in the hills just outside of Spoleto. The hosts were warm and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. I just got back from Santa Maria degli Angeli, a basic but comfortable and clean hotel. Very kind staff, excellent barman and a special mention for the very good Nello, professional, cultured (rare quality!!!), attentive and very nice. A stay truly to recommend.

Convenient but a bit tired. Convenient for station early check in was helpful,staff efficient and pleasant. Room was rather tired. Several things broken and in need of attention in bathroom. Broken shower door, leaking shower head and cracked shower tray. Loose toilet seat. Suitcase stand also broken.

Upon arrival, I was assigned a room that wasn't tidy. After reporting the problem, I was given a new room that was clean, tidy, and smelled fresh. Unfortunately, however, the new room didn't have hot water for the shower. Fortunately, it was only a one-night stay. Tip: Check the rooms before assigning them.

Some of the reviews left are inaccurate and I can say must come from people who don’t appreciate the real authentic Perugia. The hotel is charming and just off the main area. This is a joy of a hotel! Extremely welcoming and with comfortable areas to sit, read and socialize. Breathtaking views from the bedroom and patio. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Staff were excellent. Very helpful and accomodating. Hotel was spotless, the food and wine was superb. Bus stop outside of the hotel was very convenient for access to Centro Storica of Perugia (quick and cheap). All in all, a perfect stay.

What a great experience we had at this hotel. Service was amazing, the building has so many great attractions. The room we had was great, we were in 501 which is on the top floor and the view from the bathroom alone was stunning. Perfect location to walk around the old town and have a great touring and dining experience.

Disappointing stay, although the staff were very nice. The bathroom is tinier than tiny - luckily we’re both small but many people wouldn’t fit in it. The internet signal was not strong enough to connect. Every time someone stepped into the hallway our door shuddered and sounded like someone was trying to open it. The photos on are very deceptive. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

…I'll start by saying that I've seen this building in Assisi!!…only from the outside!!…currently it can't be visited inside!!…it's the Loggia dei Maestri Comacini!!…it's located on the main street of the city!!…in Via San Francesco!!…in the historic center!!…and it's easily recognizable because it has a typical medieval façade!!…and then you can see the marble slab with their name!!…as in my photo...

I only saw the exterior of the building, which is very interesting because it's visibly original. I also understood where the term "lodge" comes from for Masonic lodges, an institution derived from medieval master architects, as all the symbolism demonstrates.

A little gem, very clean, very well equipped (nothing is missing, impressive) practically at the gates of the Basilica, to this is added the kindness of the owner, the availability, the courtesy and the tact.

It's fine for a one-night stay. The room was clean and quiet, the spa worked well, and the sauna and hammam were very hot. The grounds are well-maintained. My wife and I stayed for a couple, with a room and breakfast, and one hour of exclusive access to the spa (heated whirlpool, Turkish bath, and sauna). The property is a stunning villa nestled in the countryside; we loved it; it was quiet and relaxing. The five stars are for the location which is enchanting and above all immersed in nature and tranquility. The rooms of different styles and genres are particular but the bathrooms would need to be reviewed from a functionality point of view. Overall it is a good establishment.

Perfect location for visiting Assisi with excellent access to train station. Rooms comfortable, spacious and very clean and inviting. My room 206 with partial view of Assisi from my window. We had a Balcony room at Villa Luisa. They have a nice breakfast. Very kind staff. Bathroom had a bidet as well as a toilet, sink and corner shower. The beds are not comfortable. Very hard and not much to them. Transportation into town was not easy. If you have your own transportation, there is parking available.

The location is great if you are travelling I was here for a business trip and I found it in a very good position to reach the road without wasting time for traffic. The only reason I've put 4 stars is that the restaurant was closed and there are no nearby restaurants which they didn't tell me beforehand
