I’ve just had a fantastic stay in Pension Roku. The building is well maintained and spotless.
The owners were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond for me during my stay. The location is convenient. It is a short walk to Echoland and 7 eleven. Woodys rental and Goryu shuttle bus is a 2 minute walk from the accomodation making this place a great option of skiers/boarders.
I would highly recommend staying here.

Very wholesome accom. Pretty cheap, private rooms. And lovely owners. Would recommend the stay!

I absolutely loved pension Roku! Nothing fancy but clean, very welcoming and has a cosy character. A very sweet older couple run this place and they know how to accomodate the skiers/snowboarders well! As you enter into the building, you walk into a large space dedicated to drying your wet clothing and storing your equipment. After a good long day of skiing, there are two private onsens that really do the trick to relax those well used muscles. I also found the other guests to be incredibly friendly and very respectful. Our 3 day experience was nothing but positive!

This is a nice cosy place run by a couple. There aren't many rooms. We were on the top floor. There are shower times and showers are below. The floor is heated and warm enough for me. The blankets and bed was good and comfy. One pillow provided. Convenient to walk out for food .

Stayed here for 2 nights and I felt like I was the only guest.. which was great! Silent place to relax. Great collection of liquor as well. It felt like my grandmother's house, with antiques and a piano on the corner. The public area is nice and warm. Hot bath is available from 3pm, so after skiing, I got a good soak in the tub. The owners are really friendly as well. The old man even offered me a ride back to the bus terminal after checking out.
