This room size is just right for one person without luggage. I'm not sure what tier it falls into in Japan, but in China, it's probably on par with or slightly below a Hilton. I'd be willing to stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo. There's a Kyushu ramen place nearby that's quite good, but I wouldn't really recommend Yuzugumi (Oil Group).

The views of Ginza are nice. Not sure the service or amenities are up to the 5* standard though unfortunately! Good place to stay overall although could be better for a 5*

The spacious parking was a big plus! The room was also very large and relaxing, and I was lucky to get one with a nice view. It was great that the lounge offered free alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, and snacks. The only downside was the limited hairdryer space in the women's changing room at the underground public bath, which led to some waiting.

The room was clean, but the windows were rattling and very noisy, and there was a strange smell coming from the bathroom and toilet. I would have been happy if they had done a better job of preventing odors and fixing the rattle of the windows. I'll think twice about staying here again.

This hotel offers a free shuttle service to/from Ugata Station. The rooms are comfortable and the service is warm and attentive! The breakfast spread is also extensive. I suggest the hotel post the specific station for the shuttle service on their website so guests know beforehand (we only found out which station to go to for the shuttle after emailing the hotel).

My family and I loved our stay here. Nagahama is a beautiful place and our stay is made even better by Grand Mercure Lake Biwa. Starting from Mr Sato at the front desk to the staff around the property and in the onsen, we experienced the famous omotenashi of Japan. Thank you all and we hope to back again some day.

Theres only one chair in the lobby, that nobody can sit on, because it's got a strong parfume dispenser right next to it, that goes off every 15 seconds. The people on reception have bad english. There’s no Laundry room, only expensive Laundry service, that doesn’t work on the weekends. The guests above us must have had kids or something, because they were constantly making loud thumping noises.

Located in the business center, the hotel offers excellent service. The rooms, while not large, are well-laid out and have complete toiletries. It's within walking distance of attractions such as Kenrokuen Garden and Kanazawa Castle. There are buses to Kanazawa Station on the left side of the street outside the hotel. There's a free shuttle bus from the airport to the resort! There's also a free resort shuttle bus within the hotel! The environment is nice, but the pool is a bit small! There's a line for breakfast every day, and the breakfast variety is average. Reservations are generally required for the resort's restaurants, so ask the front desk for assistance. The front desk service was excellent!

This is considered a relatively good hotel in Miyako Island. The surrounding area is incomparable to those in China. It is best to make reservations in advance for meals, as the restaurants open every day are different.

The view from the room was absolutely 100/100! I specifically chose Namba this time because I didn't want to get lost in Umeda. Turns out, if you follow Google's directions to JR Namba Station's Exit 32, you'll find the hotel in a second! Plus, the bus stop for Kansai Airport is right next door. The hotel's location is unbeatable.

Not the hotels’ fault that I picked this location, most of the food and shopping we wanted was just a train ride away. Getting into the hotel between 3 and 4pm was difficult because of check in being on the second floor and buses of guests arriving at that time. All were using the lifts to get to reception, so we had to go somewhere else while the new arrivals checked in.

The location is good surrounding with lots of resturant and shops. JR stations are also nearby. I ordered goods twice  from Amazon Japan delivered to hotel and the services were very good.

This is my second stay at Hotel Metropolitan Marunochi. Great location literally steps from Tokyo Station, great central location for all Tokyo sights and restaurants at the station and via the extensive rail network. Rooms are clean, beds very comfortable and quiet with good soundproofing.

I chose Marunouchi because I had to catch an early Shinkansen the next morning. Being right by the subway and Shinkansen entrance was a huge time-saver! It's also super convenient for shopping and dining within walking distance. The room, while small, was incredibly clean, and the amenity kit even included a cleanser and skincare set. Have stayed a couple of times now and each time staff are lovely and very helpful with any requests. Location is convenient for taking Shinkansen but harder for some of the local subways as Tokyo station can be a bit of a maze. Rooms are a good size with a nice sized bathroom and bath too! After all, it's a high-end IHG hotel, so the facilities are very complete. Although the room isn't huge, it has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. There are many 24-hour convenience stores nearby, and it's also very convenient for dining and business meals. The front desk staff are warm and welcoming. If I travel to Changdao again for business, I'll definitely choose this hotel.
