Hotel New Hankyu Osaka, Osaka1 / 26
8.6
Osaka, 1-1-35 Shibata, Kita-Ku, Osaka-Shi 🧭 Map
Old school hotel with everything you need. But its closing down. But there are other branches for booking around Osaka.
They only clean your room every fourth day of your stay. The room is relatively small but has almost everything you need. But the location is superb, literally just next to the Osaka Station, just have to get out from the right exit gate. There's also a bus terminal just outside the hotel and you can purchase the bus ticket to the airport on the same day of your departure.
Typical small room as Japanese style. Superb location to Umeda station especially the Airport limousine bus. Will be closed in Jan 2025.
there’s only one thing i wanna feedback is about this hotel they use centralised air conditioning. I’m travelling in early dec, that is only for heater… which we have to request to the hotel to open up the window for cold air to flow in - which mean the temperature is uncontrollable, is whether u have to open up narrower or wider of the window to decide and most likely you can’t get a ideal temperature...
We liked a lot the location - close to all the shops you might need. Our room was quiet small, for two beds and two futons. We enjoed our stay especially because of the breakfast. A wade range of dishes including vegetables, meats, fruits. A bit japanese style, a bit european style.
Good location. Very strategic. Nice and friendly staff. Room bit small but clean

BEAUTIFUL HOTEL! Very clean and all staff amazing, especially Quyen who kindly did our check in and was polite and helpful. Did not need room cleaning as only stayed 2 days but room was clean and had everything needed. (Hair drier, teas, water). Great stay.
Excellent location, very close to Jusan (Juso) subway station, making it easy to get to Umeda. It's quiet despite being in a bustling area, so it's not noisy at night. There are also many restaurants nearby. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Osaka.
The environment is great and the service is excellent! Really good! The only minor downside was the breakfast, which was a little disappointing.
It's relatively clean. There are many food options in the Thirteenth District. The room isn't very big.
The hotel is much larger than other hotels. Nice and clean. The front desk staff can speak some English. The room is comparatively larger than other hotels', too. Highly recommend.
About 10minutes walk from Juso station (Hankyu Line) Exit West gate, there are a lot of restaurants nearby Juso station. There are convenience stores near to Hotel. I was given twin bed room in 14 floor by the reception . The room is comfortable, and have good view from window.

Hotel Keihan Universal Tower, Osaka1 / 30
9.1
Osaka, 6-2-45, Shimaya, Konohana-ku 🧭 Map
If you're visiting Universal Studios, Universal Tower Hotel is the top choice. No need to wake up early or worry about getting back late, the location is absolutely fantastic. There are tons of convenience stores downstairs, and all sorts of shops, including dining, entertainment, and cultural and creative outlets – you name it. The room types are very family-friendly, and there's even a handsome guy...
Right next to the subway exit, and it's a 10-minute walk to Universal Studios Japan. They offer complimentary welcome drinks in the afternoon. There's a paid public bath available, the room is spacious, and the bathroom is large with a separate wet and dry area.
The room was incredibly satisfying. The hotel is right outside the subway exit, situated on the commercial street leading to Universal Studios. There's also a convenience store downstairs. It gets really lively and bustling at night. It's super close to Universal Studios too; just a few hundred meters walk and you're at the queuing entrance. The room itself is spacious, and they offer a buffet breakfast...
The room was spacious and comfortable, and it's genuinely only 200 meters from Universal Studios. Shopping and dining options are also very convenient nearby. Highly recommend! 👍
The room was clean, cozy, and felt like a home away from home. The decor was all about the details, which was really lovely. Food and transportation were both convenient, right in Universal Town. I'll definitely stay here again next time.
The hotel's main advantages are its proximity to the train station and Universal Studios. Considering it was built in 2002, the facilities are quite good. The room is about 25 square meters, spacious enough to fully open a large suitcase, which is nice. My only personal issue, due to my slight潔癖 (germophobia), is that the housekeeping isn't perfect when it comes to hair – I often find a strand or two...

Clean and convenient. Exactly what I expected. Perfect for a busy 3 day visit to the city
The rooms are tiny. Breakfast is the same and never changes. We asked for a thick layer of dust to be removed, but no one has done so in four days.
The morning buffet is great. It's a semi-buffet style where you can choose between Japanese or Western main dishes, but you can also have as much bread and rice as you want, so you can pretty much eat both. The free ramen in the evening was also quite tasty. The waiting lobby also has a luxurious feel.
This was my first time traveling to Kanazawa, so I was a little nervous, but this was a fantastic place to stay. The staff were friendly, and the accommodations seemed clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was great, and the large bath was fantastic. Next time I visit Kanazawa, I'll definitely book at the Manten Hotel again.
Convenient transportation, close to the station, abundant breakfast, free ramen every night 🍜, tastes good, and soaking in the hot spring is comfortable.
I always feel safe at Manten. The bath, sauna, convenient transportation, and breakfast with a choice of Japanese or Western are all very satisfying. I will definitely use their services again.

Hiroshima, 23-1 Motoujinamachi, Minami Ward 🧭 Map
This hotel is well known for hosting the G7 Hiroshima Summit, and after staying here, I can honestly say it truly lives up to its reputation. Located right by the harbor, the rooms offer a breathtaking ocean view where the sea and sky blend into one—extremely relaxing and peaceful. The hotel also features a large onsen bath, making it the kind of place you never want to leave once you arrive. For...
Overall, this is a good hotel. Rooms and hard products in general are dated but they’re kept clean. Service is good. The location isn’t very convenient besides the Miyajima ferry service departing from the hotel but most rooms come with a view. Their public path isn’t free (free for me as a platinum member) and isn’t big enough. I tried a couple of restaurants on site and they were good as well.
We stayed a second third night so it must have been ok 😊
Not Tattoo friendly Breakfast cost 20 USD per person, the food was nice and the view is great but I wouldn’t say it was worth 20 dollars. Massages cost about 100 USD for 60 minutes which as an American I find that pricey. Rooms were nice and clean, the hotel has a great view of the water and a speed boat Available for selected islands. The staff were all very kind and professional. Downside is also...
Great hotel, the view from the room was great, with a long window stretching to the length of the room. The hotel’s public bath was great, please note that you have to pay an extra, but that extra is only 500¥ if you join the « loyalty program », which we did. Anyways the extra is totally acceptable since the price of the hotel is very affordable. There is also a small convenience store in the lobby...
Amazing hotel, specially the view just spectacular the room size was very good and the price very economical, they had their own pier to catch the speed boat to the island Highly recommended

The room was spacious and comfortable, and it was super convenient to walk to Universal Studios. The pier downstairs offers a 10-minute boat ride to the aquarium, which is much faster than any other transport option. It was a very pleasant stay, highly recommend! 👍
The sea-view room was beautiful! The front desk staff, especially the handsome guy, was very friendly and polite. I'll definitely stay there again next time I visit Universal Studios. ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧
This hotel has a lot of Minion-themed elements, and there's a Universal gift shop in the lobby. While it's not the closest to Universal Studios, it's very quiet, and you can see the park from the room windows. The breakfast is quite extensive, offering both Japanese and Western options.
So close to Universal Studios, super convenient! There's a convenience store nearby, and the breakfast spread is great. Overall, a fantastic experience. The room was quite spacious, and I especially loved the bathroom – very clean and comfortable. The soundproofing was excellent too. If I get the chance to visit again, I'll definitely stay here!
The room was spacious and very clean, right by the sea. It was also quite close to Universal Studios, just a few minutes' walk away.
Spacious, accessible and scenic hotel from Universal Studio. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The Prince Park Tower Tokyo, where I stayed for the Tokyo Marathon, was absolutely amazing! I can confidently say this is the best hotel I've ever stayed at in Tokyo, hands down! My two-night stay here was an incredible experience. The front desk service was impeccable – professional, warm, and they resolved any issues instantly. While the room had a slightly retro feel, it was spotlessly clean, and...
I booked this hotel for the 2026 Tokyo Marathon. Its location is incredibly convenient, with multiple subway lines within a 500-meter radius. The famous Tokyo Tower is right behind the hotel. Best of all, there are direct subway lines to both the start and finish lines of the Tokyo Marathon, so no transfers are needed.
Aside from being a bit far from all the subway stations, everything else was great. You can see Tokyo Tower, and the courtyard is quite spacious. It's also right next to Zojoji Temple, Tokyo's second-largest temple. The hotel is a bit old, but it's well-maintained, and getting a 20-square-meter room for around 1000 yuan offers really good value for money.
The hotel's location is indeed excellent, very close to Tokyo Tower. My room had a perfect view of the entire Tokyo Tower, and the hotel breakfast was also of very good quality. The only minor drawback is that the facilities are a bit old, but otherwise, everything was satisfactory.
The Tokyo Tower is right outside the window, just a 5-minute walk away, which is super convenient for getting around. The breakfast was excellent!
Sitting, eating, and enjoying the view 💕 Huge thanks to the hotel for upgrading us for two nights to a room where we could see Tokyo Tower right from our bed! 🙇‍♀️ Even more special was getting to see the Tokyo Tower lit up in white and pink. Such a historic hotel, thumbs up! 👍

I would like to sincerely thank Mr. Tosuji (Manager) for his exceptional kindness and professionalism. Highly recommended, especially for early morning or late-night flights! A quick tip on getting here: Google Maps might tell you it’s a 15-minute walk and lead you on a long detour around the building, but it’s actually less than 5 minutes from Terminal 1. Just head to the floor above the arrivals level (or go to the departures level) and walk toward the Aeroplaza/Railway station building. You’ll see...
I would rate them 10 stars if I can. Great service and great location. This is first time my son traveling abroad with me. This is my second stay at this hotel, and it's still a fantastic experience. Not only is the location great, offering direct views of Rainbow Bridge and distant views of Tokyo Skytree and Tokyo Tower, but the hot spring on the 14th-floor rooftop is also excellent – I visited almost every day. The room was very clean and a good size. Breakfast was incredibly rich and varied! 👍🏻
Didn't expect to find such a great value-for-money hotel in Tokyo Bay. I was attending an exhibition in Odaiba, and it was just a 3-stop ride on the Yurikamome Line, then a 2-minute walk from the station exit on the same level to the hotel lobby. The hotel's main selling point is definitely the Tokyo Bay city night view. Even the hot spring on the 14th floor faces Tokyo Bay. The room size was adequate...
Nice hotel, nice view. The hotel provides hot springs at the top floor with tokyo bay view.
Self check-in was convenient, and the hotel has a decent view. It's not far from the subway and bus stations. The facilities are relatively new. We didn't use the hot springs since we both have tattoos. Overall, it was okay. There's a smoking room and a self-service coffee machine.
This place offers excellent value for money with exceptional cleanliness and attentive staff. Great onsen and easy access to Toyosu market
I chose La Vista next to Tokyo Bay, having previously stayed at their Hakodate location and been thoroughly impressed by their breakfast. Stayed at the Shinjuku Prince hotel for 5 nights recently. The location of the hotel is extremely convenient, right next to the Seibu-Shinjuku station and 6 minute walk from Shinjuku station. My friend and I stayed in the smallest hotel room with twin beds, the only problem I had was that the room was too small, couldn’t really open a big luggage entirely without sacrificing walking space in the room...
All staff have good standard of English with high quality service. Highly recommended!
This time I came to Tokyo for a company team-building trip, and we chose Shinjuku for its convenient shopping. The hotel was incredibly convenient! It's just a stone's throw from Isetan and Lumine Shinjuku. The service, as expected, was professional, warm, and attentive; they anticipated every need and detail before we even had to ask.
Great central hotel in the heart of Shinjuku’s nightlife and transport links. The location made it very easy to get around Tokyo. Rooms were on the smaller side but comfortable for our stay. We really enjoyed the tasty beef curry at the buffet dinner. Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout.
The biggest plus for this hotel is its fantastic location right in the heart of Shinjuku, surrounded by all the hustle and bustle. The front desk and bell staff were pretty good. The Grand Hotel offers decent value for money, though it's a bit on the expensive side. The room rates are pretty good, all things considered. It's located near the beach, but honestly, the surrounding sandy areas aren't all that great.

Great location, easy to come! Have suoermarket near the hotel, but the facilities are fewer.
Decently sized room. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. It’s a good place to stay if you have rented your own car. Carpark for 1700yen per day. This hotel is an iconic landmark in Yokohama Port, but it's quite old, so the room facilities are dated, and the cleanliness was disappointing. Overlooking lake biwa room! From far you could also see the snow mountain ! You can walk around the lake in the morning!
Very good, the room was spacious with a pleasant view from the window. Personally, I felt the breakfast on the 36th floor was better than on the 37th.
Aside from its location by Lake Biwa, this is a very ordinary hotel with basically no service. The air conditioning was uncomfortable, either too cold or too dry. The windows were also dirty, making it hard to see the Lake Biwa scenery clearly.
Didn’t give me highest floor but the design is so cool and it’s the highest building and is very nice and clean and 24 hr check in also have shuttle bus
The lakeside room is incomparable to general street view or building view hotels, giving guests the feeling of exceptional value. It is difficult to find such spacious rooms at the same price in other hotels in Japan. The facilities are clean, and the bathtub space is sufficient, all of which make guests feel comfortable.
This hotel is located right by the lake, offering fantastic views. There's a free shuttle bus to and from the subway station, which makes going out for food and shopping very convenient. It's especially handy if you're driving, as guest parking is free. The rooms are spacious and tidy. Definitely a top choice if you have a car.

Excellent hotel with underground connections to the Sapporo station. Rooms are quiet from the traffic perspective but you can heavy footed guests wich is a bit let down if you are a light sleeper.  Another thing to nite is their main restaurant have early last orders usually 830 pm and tgey close by 9pm.  Only the bar and drinking places closes later.  Excellent afternoon high tea.
The location is excellent; you can reach the hotel from Sapporo Station entirely through an underground passage. The Japanese breakfast was good. However, we stayed for two nights, and the hotel didn't empty our trash. Two nights' worth of rubbish piled up in our already small room... Is this a Japanese custom?
An absolutely perfect experience! This hotel, built in 1934, is nearly a century old and exudes a profound sense of history with its distinctive Japanese-Western old money charm. This a last minute booking, decide to come back early from Nagoya. I have another booking with a bigger room and they actually upgrade me for this one night so that I do not need to change room after, so considerate of them. Very much appreciated.
The room is slightly dirty with stinks on bed. The hotel is located right by the subways station, but slightly far away from the JR station(about 6-8 mins of walk), but luckily the way to the station is flat and easy to find.

We had a comfortable stay overall at Rihga Royal Hotel Kyoto. The staff were professional and polite, and the hotel is conveniently located close to the station, easy to get around. There’s a complimentary shuttle service to and from the hotel to the station. Handy when it was raining. That said, some areas could be improved. The bathroom felt quite dated and could really use a reno. Also can’t/won...
The entrance and ground floor assist to be renovated and quite modern. Rooms are old school decor wise but very comfortable. Great location, Close to kyoto station via a pedestrian shortcut. Hotel has free airport shuttle to the station as well which is fantastically convenient.

The hotel has shuttle bus to Kyoto station, walking only takes about 10 minutes. Breakfast is nice and staff are very pleasant. Not close to Gion. It's Tower is magnificent.
The hotel meets all the standards of a star-rated hotel, but it's very discreet. We had a hard time finding it at night, even with navigation, because the dim hotel sign was hidden behind some bamboo.
