The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel is right next to a bus stop and a convenience store, which made getting around super easy. All the staff were really welcoming and provided excellent service. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Kyoto!

The service was great, and the environment was nice too. The main advantage is the convenient location, very close to the tram station, making it easy to get anywhere. There are also many supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, which is handy for shopping. However, it's a bit of a shame that the public bath isn't a hot spring.

I was very satisfied with this hotel. It was clean and hygienic, and a taxi ride from Kyoto Station cost about 1500 yen. When I checked out, the Shijo branch helped transfer my luggage to the Mitsui Garden Hotel in front of Kyoto Station for only 500 yen. I had originally scheduled to pick up my luggage at 6 PM, but my plans changed, and I went to pick it up at 1:50 PM. The staff helped me with my bags and even asked if my kids and I were hungry, offering us a simple meal. That really touched my heart. Plus, the Mitsui Garden Hotel in front of Kyoto Station is so close to the station! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Kyoto. The Shijo branch is also very convenient for taking buses to various attractions and is close to the central area.

I stayed here about eight or nine years ago, and it's still just as good! I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in Kyoto!

This was my first stay at Mitsui Shijo, and its location helped me discover several delicious and affordable restaurants nearby. Overall, the stay was great, but I really can't recommend the public bath. It was crowded, and none of the tubs were being filled, which made me worry about the hygiene. It would be perfect if there was a microwave next to the ice machine. I was also very happy to receive a small horse as a New Year's gift when I checked out! Plus, there's a Pokémon store on the second floor of a nearby shopping complex.

The environment is great, the location is good, and the breakfast is decent. The deluxe room we booked offered excellent value for money. The service was attentive. The only downside is that it was very crowded, and there was only one hot spring pool, which wasn't quite enough.

The room was a bit compact, but for this area, it was considered spacious. The cleanliness was impeccable, which I was very satisfied with. The location is excellent, offering a quiet retreat while being close to bustling areas with comprehensive commercial amenities. It's about 500 meters to Karasuma Subway Station, and Kiyomizu-dera Temple is a three-kilometer walk. The onsen facilities were a little small but still well-maintained, and it wasn't crowded before dinner. Great value for money.
