JW Marriott Hotel Nara, Nara1 / 25
9.1
Nara, 1 Chome-1-1 Sanjooji, 630-8013 Nara, Prefektura Nara, Yaponiya 🧭 Map
It was great for a short stay of 2-3 days but would be challenging for a longer stay as it does not have self-service laundry. It was inconvenient to drive 10 minutes to a laundry shop. Its service was great and staff were very polite and helpful. Its gym was well-equipped compared to other hotels in Japan we have stayed in
The hotel facilities are very new, and the design is clean and refreshing. The location is a bit secluded, but they offer a shuttle bus service.
The best hotel in Nara. Breakfast was great. Room was great. Service was gret.
very clean and staff very nice and warm welcome. also they share some best food restaurant to us. will come back next time.
Excellent new hotel Stylish and very comfortable International but with a touch of Japan and Nara
should consider this the best hotel around in nara town. nice environment, and nice service. the breakfsst varieties could have been a little bit more, and that would be wonderful.

Overall, the hotel was great for a 4-5 days stay. Not as luxurious as the Hyatt over at Hanazono but it does its job.
The room was very spacious, and the outdoor onsen's night view was absolutely stunning. Snowflakes were falling overhead while the hot spring pool steamed, creating a truly blissful moment. The hotel offers direct ski-in/out access, which is incredibly convenient and hassle-free. Breakfast was abundant, and there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel with direct service to Sapporo city and New Chitose...
The hot spring was incredibly relaxing, especially soaking in it while enjoying the snowy scenery. It's a shame they don't allow photos. However, the hotel's food was really terrible, I almost fainted from how bad it was. And dinner was 260 per person!
Excellent place to stay at during the winter. Location was amazing, located right on the ski slope allowing my son to ski in and out of the hotel. It is also quite peaceful and quiet as the property is not at an overly touristy area. Rooms were also very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend, 10/10
Ski in Ski out hotel ! Good Good
Sleek, clean rooms. Excellent service. Can rent ski equipment and gear from hotel, then ski right away. Onsen and massage were wonderful. Great buffet!

Fantastic interior and design. Service at breakfast was also good
Staying at The Kahala Yokohama truly redefines what an immersive vacation feels like 🌺. The moment I stepped in, I was enveloped by a vibrant Hawaiian atmosphere, and a cheerful 'Aloha' from the staff instantly melted away my travel fatigue. The guest rooms, starting from a surprisingly spacious 47㎡, were a delight. They perfectly blend Japanese refinement with Hawaiian laid-back charm. The custom...
This hotel boasts a prime location, a very generous breakfast, and excellent surrounding amenities. I always stay here for business trips and highly recommend it to business travelers. This isn't my first time staying here. I was too busy on this business trip to take any photos…
We absolutely loved our time at the Kahala.  All of the staff worked hard to do everything in their power to make our stay comfortable.
It was as beautiful as the photos. There were plenty of amenities. They'll deliver ice if you call.
Room 5 & 7 were extremely poorly cleaned. I've stayed in ten hotels during this trip to Japan, and this is the first time I've seen items left behind by previous guests in a room. An empty mineral water bottle was placed on top of the minibar, which was inexplicable and startling. Also, the back of the bathroom door was covered in dust; the cleaning and inspection were negligent. The Japanese restaurant...

Pullman Tokyo Tamachi Hotel, Tokyo1 / 30
9.1
Tokyo, 3 1 21 Shibaura 🧭 Map
We recently stayed at Pullman Tokyo Tamachi and had a very pleasant experience. The area is quiet and charming, making it a peaceful place to stay. Check-in was smooth, and the service was excellent especially thoughtful was the way they surprised our daughter with complimentary sweets and gifts. The room was comfortable overall, though the shower box in the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner....
For a Japanese hotel, the room was quite spacious. The location was also great, not far from the subway station, and there's a supermarket and convenience store right outside. The area is surrounded by office buildings, so you see a lot of busy workers. There are also many izakayas nearby, which gave me a glimpse into Japanese after-work life. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Tokyo
A relatively quiet place, not as noisy as Shinjuku.
Good value. Location is more convenient than you think.
Pullman hotel was a very good stay for me and my family. Near to the MRT and F&B. Definitely will go back again!
Location was great, very short walk within the train station. Room was clean and service is good.

Pro - so fun to rent gold caddy and go around the hotel driving it - food options for dinner are good: buffet or grill restaurant Improve - the food options at the pool bar are bit limited
The view and the room were great! The only time I rented a cart was when I went to the beach. The bath was only a 3-minute walk from the room, so I was able to move around the premises without renting one. There was a shuttle bus to the beach, and a shuttle to the izakaya. Some activities were fully booked, and some days they couldn't be held, so my plans were ruined. I wish they would increase...
The room is large and comfortable, with a big Sony TV. Outside the French window is a lawn + sea view, but it's a pity that the view is not as good as upstairs because I live downstairs, otherwise the view of the sea would be wider.
The room is spacious and there are many animals, including sheep, ducks, peacocks, and cows. The beach and the large bathing area with a panoramic view are the soul of this place, which is really beautiful. If you have time and want to stay for a few more days, just lie down here.
There are three hotels on Kohama Island, two in the south and one in the north. This historic resort is adjacent to Hoshino, and it is very convenient to play golf at the Hoshino Golf Club, the westernmost and southernmost point of Japan. The hotel covers a huge area, with dense greenery and complete facilities. You can bathe in the large bathhouse to watch the sunset, and play in the water and watch...

The front desk staff speaks fluent English, and there were quite a few Western guests during my stay. For the cherry blossom season, the value for money was pretty good. The room was relatively spacious compared to other Japanese hotels. Rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy late at night. Breakfast leans towards a Western style. It's very close to the subway, just a short walk to the Kamo River...
Amazing service, their english was excellent and everyone was incredibly thoughtful! Best place we stayed on our trip!
Perfect stay ! Very clean very convenient and the location perfect!! It’s so close to everywhere ! Service is amazing the spa is so nice ! Chie made my body stress relief by the spa.
Absolutely great hotel with such a nice interiour design, very helpful and nice staff and great, spacious room. we even got a free room upgrade. breakfast was delicious and had a nice athmosphere. there is free coffee available in the lobby which is also a very nice extra. we fully enjoyed our stay here. location could not be better, many sightseeing spots in walkable distance and subway is just around...
The decor is very stylish, but the bedding isn't great. The 'super king size bed' is actually two beds pushed together, and there's a big gap in the middle. We had to squeeze with our child on one side, which was really cramped. Plus, the bedding was too soft and offered no support, leaving me with a sore back for all three days of our stay.
Stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel was aesthetically pleasing with its decoration. The welcome drink was pleasantly served as well. The staff was friendly and helpful with our checking in process. They also provide luggage transfer services for you. The room was done up nicely and the metro was just one traffic light away. Overall, we had a awesome stay there. We got to see snow on our 2nd day!

Location is excellent - within short walking distance to Ashabashi monorail Station and Naha Bus Station. Although size of room is small but it has sufficient amenities and good WiFi. Free breakfast is also good with western and local options. All in, it is value for money. Asked the reception for lunch venue on arrival and we we directed to a great local small proprietary restaurant which serves great...
Prime spot. 2 mins walk from the ferry terminal (arriving from Kagoshima), 5 mins to Asahibashi Station, and under 10 mins to Kokusai Dori. Super convenient!
I wished the rooms had tea available in the room, but they only had coffee. There is a Bathtub but no bath salt. Limited amenities provided. Breakfast is tasty but simple. Room advertised as can sleep 3 but it’s probably too small to be comfortable unless it is a small child with two adults. Hotel has a nice modern design. Friendly staff who are helpful and casual.
Great location with convenience stores around the hotel. This is a great-value hotel with clean, quiet rooms. It's easy to get an Uber to many places.
Hotel doesn't provide shower cap and also no daily housekeeping service in a bid to be more economical friendly. However, the irony is that they still provide plastic bottle water in room. Parking is on 1st come 1st serve basis without any priority for in house guests and it seems you're not able to reserve the lot upon check in for the duration of your stay.
I had an amazing stay. The hotel was super nicely decorated and newly refurbished with all amenities needed. Great location, with walkable distance but not in the busiest part of Naha city center either. The pricing was extraordinary considering the four stars, and this was definitely one of my best hotel stays even though it only lasted one night.

Check-in is conveniently done in the hotel room. The staff are professional and welcoming. The overall design of the hotel's public spaces is very comfortable.
The service was good. The first room I was given was a bit smelly, so I changed it to a new room. Then, because I was bothered by the cemetery view room, I was upgraded to a Kamogawa view room for free.
Great, because the hotel made this trip even better!

This hotel has stunning views, spacious and comfortable rooms, beautiful decor, and a high degree of privacy. The onsen is excellent. It's perfect for a relaxing getaway.
It is always very nice to stay here. It is a Ski in - Ski our property with fantastic ski valet.
This 5-star hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the ski slopes. The rooms are beautiful and well-appointed. There are both public and private onsen, which can be booked for free. The breakfast is good and high-quality. If you visit during the low season, you can get a discount of up to half the usual price. There's a parking fee of 2000 yen per day.
Fantastic hotel and staff. You will not regret booking this place.
Booked this last minute, and it was the only small room left. Even in late March, near the end of the snow season, the hotel was fully booked. The 7 or 8 parking spots out front require a reservation and cost 4000 JPY per night. Although my room was small, it had a beautiful, unobstructed view of Mount Yotei. It was clean and tidy. This hotel is a century old but incredibly well-maintained! The hot springs are super relaxing and really destress you. The breakfast and dinner buffets offer a wide variety of choices, though you have to pay extra for drinks. The Japanese-style room was a nice experience!
The service was warm and attentive, and the hotel facilities were well-maintained and thoughtfully designed. If you're not driving, be sure to book the shuttle bus. The buffet dinner was definitely a highlight. Personally, I found the tatami somewhat firm.
Good facilities and good food. (very nice buffet)
Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and easy to access to the Onsen and dining room. The rooftop open air Onsen was a great spot to enjoy the Onsen. Love the Onsen temperature and the pool were too crowded.
I love the design of the hotel ..delicious buffet dinner and breakfast, and the rooftop onsen so nice ..
Although the hotel is a bit old, the facilities are perfect and the buffet is delicious. The best part is the open-air hot spring on the top floor; soaking in it while it's snowing is an unforgettable experience. There are also two other indoor hot springs, which are perfect.

The closet is too narrow to hang oversized coats, especially when in winter! Kitchen isn’t well facilitated with only one microwave, no idea how to cook! No luggage rack, no shoe brush
Excellent location, but the rooms are just average and the service is terrible. The listed facilities are inaccurate. It's rare for me to leave a bad review, but this one deserves it.
An absolutely top-tier hotel experience in Tokyo! The location is incredibly central, right by the Imperial Palace and Tokyo Station, placing it in the heart of the city's most bustling and modern business district. The hotel rooms are incredibly spacious, and we even got upgraded to a suite, which made for a fantastic stay.
The hotel made a mistake during check-in, which led to a lengthy discussion before I could finally get settled. They did upgrade my room, which was very spacious, and the cleanliness was acceptable. However, no one at the front desk offered to help with my luggage.
I've always been a loyal fan of Ascott, but the Ascott Tokyo really left me speechless. Upon check-in, we were informed that the entire building would have a power outage on our last day, meaning all guests had to vacate their rooms before noon. Had a great time at this resort hotel! Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable! Had a great experience with all the ground staff. Breakfast, Lounge access staff were all excellent! Special thanks to Miyata, the lady in short hair with black jacket and trousers. They were lovely and super helpful and friendly.
Good services, bed room is clear and comfort! Williing to go again!
Despite being a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member, I was disappointed to find that lounge access and breakfast were both chargeable. I was told that such services are not included with bookings made through Trip.com. Had I known this beforehand, I wouldn't have booked, making this a truly disappointing trip.
A great hotel in Karuizawa. Free parking is available if you're driving, and the breakfast is excellent value for money. (Renting a car is best for exploring this area)
A nice hotel in this area. Room is spacious, comfortable beds. Location is a bit out of the popular area. It is fine if you are driving. Breakfast is nice with most things that you need. The onsen bath area also quite big with outside bath.
This was my first time staying at the Karuizawa Marriott Hotel. The public onsen has both indoor and outdoor baths, and while the facilities were clean, the area was a bit small. The forest-view rooms are located in the wing built in the 1960s. The decor isn't just retro; it's genuinely vintage. Location good, washroom size acceptable, room size able to open two luggages. However during the check in date I stuck at ground floor for a while due to waiting them to open the door for me to go up to lobby. Keep calling but the line is busy.

Great location and excellent service. The breakfast restaurant and the Teppanyaki restaurant upstairs are both delicious and highly recommended.
The “sea view” was very disappointing and honestly not what I expected at all when booking this room. What made the experience worse was the pricing issue.
