I had a few challenges during my recent stay at the hotel. Firstly, I requested a late check-out after booking but unfortunately, my request was not accommodated. Additionally, at 11 PM, I experienced a malfunction with the TV in my room, which was quite inconvenient.
I noticed that the hotel restaurant GUSUKU advertised lunch options, but it was unexpectedly closed during my visit. Lastly, I was...
I encountered the worst staff member at this hotel. They asked for an extra blanket and dragged it across the floor onto the bed. When I pointed it out, they said it was fine.
The environment is very comfortable and secluded. We didn't play golf, so we didn't enjoy the hotel's course. However, we did enjoy the teppanyaki grill, which had excellent ingredients. While it can't compare to Tokyo, it's top-notch in Okinawa. When we went out, we asked the concierge to pick us up at the beach. He was responsive and provided professional service.
The environment is beautiful and suitable for couples to travel. The hotel is clean and tidy, the room is comfortable, and the service is generally good. The golf course is good and is suitable for checking in as described. It is worth recommending and I will come again next time.
Very nice hotel, especially the swimming pool. The food in the restaurant was also very good.
Everything is good, except the network is not good. Especially at night

private onsen in the room, spacios room
Breakfast and dinner was awesome! Onsen was clean and well maintained, worth the trip!
The hotel is new and clean overall, with beautiful room views, especially the private hot spring bath. Breakfast and dinner are plentiful, making it a suitable hot spring hotel for a family of all sizes. The only downside is that there doesn't seem to be much to do nearby.
I highly recommend this onsen hotel, ranked among the top 30 in all of Japan, to anyone visiting Matsumoto! The room views, hot springs, food, and service are all impeccable. Having stayed at many Japanese onsen hotels, this one truly offers excellent value for money.
Service: The hotel is a 20-minute drive from JR Station and provides a shuttle service. When you arrive at Matsumoto Station, you can...
I am a solo traveler who stayed in the room with private open bath. I enjoyed my 2 nights stay. Hotel looks tired and old but it was all good . Btw, you have to use a key to open the door not access card.
I paid for my room with breakfast and dinner. I have a private dining space in a restaurant which I like it. Skip all queue and I dine at the same place for all meals. Dinner was great. Breakfast...
a good hotel with view of the snowy mountain. even though we arrived late that night, friendly staff keep out room ready and the bath tube full of hot spring water.
nice breakfast as well, the 2nd morning all cars covered with snow, they have tools to help clean your windows before you go. added value.

Beppu, 499-18 Oaza Kannawa 🧭 Map
This is our 2nd time to stay at this hotel. ANA intercontinental Beppu maintains its quality standard. The room is clean and comfortable with good view. The restaurants offer the delicious food. The outdoor onsen facility provides the beautiful ocean view. In the meanwhile, their SPA is nearly the best treatment which we have experienced. This hotel is highly recommended for the stay when you visit...
After reading other reviews, they were all overwhelmingly positive.
Having stayed in numerous hotels, the ANA InterContinental Beppu definitely ranks in my top three.
First, let's talk about transportation:
Beppu Station is quite small. Remember to exit from the West Exit (this was told to us by the hotel shuttle driver; apparently, many international guests wait for a long time at the East Exit...
The room was great, but the location is super remote – be prepared for a very quiet, almost deserted area. You'll need taxis to get around. Breakfast was really mediocre, and the hot springs were just okay, definitely not worth the price.
Nice hotel and good experience of hot spring and really suitable for family
Best hotel in Beppu,, Onsen very relaxing, service and staff are amazing, Elements restaurant is not too bad. Would definitely come here again
This is an excellent hotel. It's nestled on a mountain overlooking the ocean, offering beautiful scenery. The hot springs are fantastic, and they even have private baths available for an extra charge. Dinner was superb; we had Japanese cuisine in an elegant setting. The Japanese chef was very professional, and the dishes were outstanding. Breakfast was semi-buffet style and also delicious. The rooms...

Maybe due to weather issue, seems some mosquitoes and flies,, even inside room, the hotel is a bit old but kept not bad, service is perfect too, I like their velvet parking, just 1000yen/night and you may drop off at door.
Amenities are adequate but I don't like the package of toothpaste which was a small bag and hard to open.
Room was spacious; some shops around after crossing the bridge, if the...
The staff was friendly. We were upgraded to a better room upon arrival, which was a pleasant and unexpected surprise.
There's a free, frequent shuttle to and from the beach.
The breakfast menu is varied.
The room has everything you need for comfort, including three types of loungewear.
A luxurious spa area with complimentary ice cream.
Umbrellas at the exit.

It's truly a 5-star hotel, beyond belief.
I'm so satisfied! The size of the room, the quality of the breakfast, and most importantly, the charm of the night pool!
I've already promised to book this hotel again next time I visit Okinawa.
I was worried because there weren't many Korean reviews, but it was fantastic!
There are many expensive, nice hotels in the north, but I recommend cutting down your budget and staying at Exys!
They offer valet service, and the staff are super friendly. They even give you a welcome tea at check-in and even help carry your luggage to your room. (They even have Korean staff!)

I stayed from August 21st to August 23rd.
The toilet overflowed during my stay.
I had been bothered by the smell since day one.
The toilet looked nice and clean, but the smell was unavoidable and I thought maybe the water pressure was weak.
The morning of the second day, the toilet started to drain poorly after use and finally overflowed.
I contacted the front desk, and a worker and cleaning staff...
There was a large pool and the kids seemed to have a lot of fun. There was a Shisa coloring experience, but I couldn't participate due to timing, so I would definitely like to let my kids try it next time. There were various things to keep the kids happy, which was helpful.

Loved it! The only downside was that our pick-up got delayed due to heavy snow, and they couldn't pick us up after 6 PM. We stood outside in sub-zero temperatures for half an hour, and had to pay 6,000 yen for a private car. Other than that, the scenery, environment, and hot springs were fantastic. The complimentary drinks available at all times and the ramen served in the evening were very thoughtful...
The most amazing stay of our life. We walked from the station to the hotel. Woke up to a clear view of Mt. Fuji and the hotel was more than amazing in everything. We regret staying only 1 night. The price was worth it, the food is very delicious and the onsen just wow.
The service was great! The view is amazing. The only minor drawback was that the breakfast was exactly the same for both days. We went down at 7 AM and were seated by a window overlooking Mount Fuji, which was lovely! You can see beautiful Mount Fuji right from your room; I didn't even want to go out exploring. I just wanted to relax on the balcony or in the bathtub and enjoy the view! They also offer...
Super nice location and view from the hotel room!! The onsen in the room has a super stunning view!!
I read quite a few reviews for this hotel, and many mentioned it was old, inconveniently located, and geared towards domestic travelers, so I didn't have high expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The room furnishings were a bit dated, but not dirty or rundown; they were actually very comfortable. This place is really nice, but the location is so deep in the mountains that you can't do anything else. It's really just for a relaxing staycation.
The room had a beautiful view and a private small terrace. The dining options were limited, but the French restaurant was quite good. There was a shuttle bus service, and the hotel service was good. It seemed to be mostly Japanese guests.
Very clean and staff were amazing!
Great staff and that makes the difference.
A great hotel for unwinding, complete with excellent facilities. The staff cultivates a personal and warm atmosphere. While the property has a somewhat old-fashioned feel, it doesn't detract from the overall experience.
I think the fine dining restaurant would be more convenient if they offered lighter course options. The bed was spacious and comfortable.

The room was great, the environment was very elegant and had a strong Japanese feel. The breakfast was also rich and the room was very clean. If I come to Kyoto again, I will choose this place again.
The hotel is a tranquil oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. The rooms are cozy, and the service is impeccable. There was a Chinese-speaking staff member who was incredibly nice and helped us with our check-in. All the hotel staff were warm and polite; everything was just perfect. Personally, I found it more comfortable than staying at an Aman, and it's a hotel I'll always look forward to. Oh, and although...
There's a cemetery nearby. I wonder if it's the war criminal graveyard mentioned on Xiaohongshu. Just thinking about it gives me the creeps.
Great location, great service.
**Facilities:** The hotel is relatively new and well-equipped. The amenities provided are the standard Le Labo products, as is customary with Park Hyatt.
**Ambiance:** The setting is quite tranquil, and with few guests, it offers excellent privacy. However, the lighting at night is a bit dim, which can feel a little eerie.
**Service:** Service was decent.
The room was spotless and well-equipped. Every corner is picture-perfect, and stepping out, you're right in the scenic area, making a leisurely stroll incredibly relaxing. I absolutely loved my stay here, and the service was excellent. The only slight disappointment was the breakfast; it felt rather basic. Excellent hotel! The entire property has a wonderful old-world charm. The large terrace offers a beautiful view, and they even provide essential oils for an aromatherapy diffuser, which was a lovely touch. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Kobe.
The check in process is slow, inefficient, and not customer friendly. They ask you on the very first day of your arrival about the exact time of your breakfast and room cleaning, which is unreasonable and not thoughtful. English speaking ability of the staff is also very poor.
I came here for Kobe Marathon 2025

Breakfast not that good
The hotel overall is good. Service amd facility are all good. Only one problem and I will never book this hotel again for this reason. The hotel only has room service for breakfast. And really don’t like it. When I used this hotel 3 years ago, they restaurant for breakfast is really wonderful. Unfortunately, now it is only open for lunch.
Nice location and the room is large. The staff is so friendly. If the hotel can provide buffet for breakfast it would be great

1. The rooftop indoor and outdoor onsen are absolutely amazing! The indoor pool is very large and long, and in the open-air bath, you can even feel planes flying overhead – a truly unforgettable experience!
2. After your bath, you can also enjoy complimentary snacks, ice cream, and drinks (orange juice, water, beer) at the Sky Lounge outside the onsen, all while taking in the superb views of Hakodate...
The front desk service was excellent, and the room was spacious and comfortable. However, there were some large black bugs in the hot spring water in the public bath. Luckily, I noticed them early and wasn't bitten. Everything else was top-notch!
Booked the room with a private onsen and it was an amazing experience! The staff there are also warm and welcoming. Soe showed us our room and patiently explained the different opening hours for lounge and cafe. Breakfast included was a traditional Japanese style course and it was an amazing experience
The room was large, but going up and down the stairs was inconvenient. Unlike Noboribetsu, they didn't offer to help carry luggage to the room.
The duvet cover was too small; the duvet tucked inside, not covering the feet or shoulders—it wasn't designed for adults.
The shower faucet was difficult to turn on and off.
Perhaps because we checked in late, we were offered an early dinner and an early breakfast. Since we checked in late at noon, we managed to request a later dinner, but it was a bit difficult the next morning. If you have a preferred time, I recommend checking in earlier.
The room was spacious and very nice!
Perhaps because there was a bath in the room, the large public bath was empty and we had it...
A typical hot spring hotel, a bit far from the city center, but the rooms have private hot spring baths, which is very convenient! The service was excellent, the environment was nice, and the breakfast was thoughtfully prepared! Recommended!

The best onsen ryokan I’ve ever been to. If I could gatekeep this place, I would! Love every part of it, so zen so clean and quiet. The food is amazing especially the beef.
The onsen is amazing, they have public and private indoor and outdoor onsens, you don’t even have to worry about not getting the private onsen slots. They are always available. Love the outdoor onsen the most!
I will be back...
The environment is great. Very quiet... the food is also good.
Very comfortable stay. Call the hotel on arrival at Hirayu Onsen bus interchange for free pick up. Dinner and breakfast were fantastic. We appreciated the free amenities like probiotic drink, milk and ice popsicles. Onsen was top notch, especially in winter.
A perfect hot spring hotel. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the room had a private hot spring. The room was very spacious, and it was about a 10-minute walk to the ski resort. There are also many attractions nearby. Highly recommended!

The room was well-equipped, and the service was excellent and very friendly. The only minor issue was that I wasn't used to the breakfast. However, the hotel's location is super convenient, with a subway station right outside!
The hotel's location is really convenient. It's not a long taxi ride to Omotesando or Ginza, and it's just two or three subway stops away. The room is spacious, and the mini-bar is complimentary.
Spacious rooms, convenient location, great service.
Only thing is the dryers are not the best takes a few additional cycles to dry a standard load.
Five stars! The room was spacious, and the twin beds were queen-sized. The facilities were new and clean, and the service was attentive. The hotel is right next to the subway station, making it easy to get to Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Ginza, all within 30 minutes. There are also some nice cafes nearby. Because it was the off-season and rainy season, there were very few guests, but all the staff were considerate and made for a very satisfying trip.

good location, right next to dogo bath house. the service is good and the amenities are outdated.

I arrived at this hotel with high expectations, as the reviews all praised its cuisine. Both dinner and breakfast were lavish, with dishes served one by one. The splendid alfonsino sashimi and braised dish were definite highlights. However, the hotel room itself was quite ordinary and appeared rather dated. The 'top 100 Asian view' is entirely weather-dependent; on a cloudy day, it's quite unremarkable
The hot spring bath was incredibly relaxing.
As you'd expect from an inn where you can dine, the meals were truly sumptuous and all delicious. I was also happy that they had sashimi for both dinner and breakfast.
I also used the open-air baths in my room and the large public bath, and both had great views and were very pleasant!
I would love to stay here again!
The 16 videos and photos alone speak volumes about my satisfaction with this hotel! I wasn't entirely satisfied with the room I booked based on the photos, but it was even better in person. Everything was perfect... except there was only one restaurant on site... If you have a car, Miyakojima is not about location.
It's the best for families to come and play. It would be better if you prepare thoroughly before going. Breakfast. Western and Japanese food. Both are great. If you go to the nearby beach. Such a vibe! This hotel is perfect—they have a library with free coffee and tea 24/7. The food is 10/10 for both breakfast and dinner. The rooms are huge and beautifully designed. Plus, they give you two different outfits to wear around the property and a super comfy set of pajamas!

One of the best Natural Onsen Resorts. Had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the onsen and great nature view of Golf play, mount Fuji San was looking beautiful from this location in the early morning.
Great hotel with location next to the beautiful golf course, really handy for golfer! Breakfast is good with wide variety of food.
The staff service attitude is very good; although I did not book dinner, and do not want to drive down the mountain, in the end the restaurant can arrange a fried pork chop rice for us, really delicious 😋 still in a comfortable separate room to enjoy 👍. The only thing to be picky about is whether there are street lights when it's too inconvenient to go up the hill.
The hotel is great. The environment is very good. The scenery is beautiful. The outdoor hot spring is very comfortable.
Pros: The hotel is on the mountain, with beautiful environment, fresh air, and a golf course. Cons: Old facilities, average breakfast and dinner, about 25 minutes away from Shuzenji Station, suitable for self-driving travel

Taketomi, 1955 Taketomi, Taketomi-cho 🧭 Map
Hoshinoya Taketomi Island is truly a hidden gem, perfect for finding peace and completely unwinding. The environment is incredibly natural and the service is excellent; anything you need is promptly brought to your room. It is a paradise for people. There are few people on the island. The resort has buses to various attractions on the island. The resort itself is a Japanese resort style, with good service and independent small houses that are very quiet.
Recommended!
The most comfortable hotel, service, culture, experience, food, the feeling of seclusion is very good and comfortable, the only drawback is that you can't see the sea directly. If the wind is strong on the island, the house will creak
