Tokyo, 2-14 Kitaaoyama 🧭 Map
The room was spotless, spacious, and perfectly located within walking distance to Omotesando. However, the garden room had very poor lighting, with the window facing a small, courtyard-like garden, making the room feel a bit damp.
It was totally wonderful experience and awesome moment there.
My stay at THE AOYAMA GRAND HOTEL was excellent overall. The service was professional, attentive, and discreet, making the entire experience feel refined without being stiff. The staff were helpful from check-in to departure and handled requests efficiently. The free private black van to the airport was a nice touch as well.
The facilities are modern and thoughtfully designed, blending contemporary...
The room is too small for the daily price, easy to get to, and parking is difficult if you rent a car.
Extremely satisfied! The hotel's location is super convenient, within walking distance to Harajuku and Omotesando for shopping.
We booked a suite, and the room was very spacious and beautiful. Japanese hotels are truly excellent when it comes to details; they've prepared everything you could possibly think of, and even things you wouldn't expect. Lots of little surprises, including a free mini-bar...
Very good location. The room has wonderful views. The all complementary mini bar is a very generous touch by the management.

Fukuoka, 18-25 Saitozaki 🧭 Map
Staff are helpful and friendly, breakfast is good, but the hotel is looking a bit tired (compared to 10 years ago when we stayed previously). Lighting in rooms is poor and the beds are simply old and worn out. Shuttle bus into Hakata is useful but the schedule is pretty limited and whilst the railway across the road is an alternative, there probably are better options closer to town.
The room is spacious with extra bed for kid. Baby cot can be provided as well.
A clean and convenient hotel. The only downside is that the beach isn't swimmable.
Hotel is clean the only thing I found it weird we had to set our own bed they left the futons folding on the corner of the room for you
No pool service I m told summer only this is mid October but it is hot as hell felt like summer time in fall not recommended if you don’t rent the car
The highlight of my Fukuoka trip. It was quiet and relaxing, offered great value, had spacious rooms, and the staff were very friendly. After spending three days enjoying the park, we even extended our stay. I would definitely return.
Great hotel. Good for a family holiday. Close to the seaside park. Reservation required for restaurants. Night pool only available to adults. Free shuttle bus between the hotel and Hearts Bus Station Hakata. Swimming ring JPY 3000, sandals JPY 2000.

Beautiful if aged ryokan with a spectacular dining experience.
Here is very nice Ryokang. Good service and All Staffs are very friendly especially A Nepali guy (Sorry, I didn't ask him name) He is very helpful and suggested us things to do in Yugawara. We are very appreciated here.
Expensive but worth it! The hospitality is top-notch, and the location is very quiet and serene. Dinner and breakfast were excellent (Kaiseki style), and the onsen was great. A perfect place to relax.

Beautiful and clean ryokan style hotel! Staffs were friendly and kind. Always smiling and ever ready to help. Requested for room vacuum and they came immediately. The onsen was nice too but the water wasn’t hot enough for me. Room was a little small and plugs were quite limited but the view from our room, restaurant, and the observation was stunning.
The kaiseki dinner was amazing too!
Booked a Mt Fuji View room and it was incredible! We had an awesome day of blue sky’s and clear views and loved being able to soak it up from our room. Gluten Free breakfast is also available at the hotel. They have an allergens list of the foods.
We stayed in a Japanese-style room facing Mt. Fuji – the best of both worlds! Breakfast offers a choice of Japanese or Western (or both) buffets, all with a stunning view of Mt. Fuji. The hotel isn’t modern, but it’s clean, tidy, and well-organized. Facilities include Toto toilets, relaxing onsen baths (note: no tattoos allowed), deep soaking tubs, a koi pond, wine bar, souvenir shop, coin laundry,...
Fuji View Hotel is an older style hotel a little outside the station area (about 10 minutes by shuttle bus). A regular courtesy shuttle is provided for guests between the station and the hotel. The hotel is a glorious retro styled hotel with lovely service. All of the staff really try genuinely to assist guests. Love the location and service with employees support and service ..
We had a great stay here. We booked a room with a view of Mount Fuji and it was definitely worth it. The hotel itself is amazing and the space is very well maintained. The staff were extremely lovely and helpful! The grounds were very beautiful to explore. The breakfast was amazing and had a lot of variety. Overall it’s a very nice hotel. Centralized location.
For nearly 8,000 CNY a night, my high expectations were thoroughly dashed.
1. There was a noticeable difference in how the front desk treated foreign guests versus locals; during check-in, foreigners received an almost 'kneeling' level of deference. The hotel is small, and its only appeal comes from the scenery outside the teahouse.
2. The rooms are dated, minibar items were not complimentary, and...
Nice environment, with a private hot spring bath.
Very helpful when book restaurants for us. highly recommended.
The hotel is nested in a quiet corner, within walking distance of Sagaogurayama Tabuchiyamacho. Im however a bit disappointed with the limited facilites it offered when compared to the price we paid.
We stayed in the Tsukinone Twin Room which is on the third floor of the building. The view is pleasant. The room is of decent size. Yet there were no public onsens. We need to pay YEN5000 for ...
The hotel service was top-notch, and the room facilities were excellent. Having tattoos, I opted for a room with a private hot spring, and the environment was wonderfully private and comfortable.

We had a great stay at the Okushiga Phoenix Hotel. The Italian dinner was simply perfect, the onsen was wonderful and relaxing, and the staff were consistently friendly and professional.
If you ski at Okushiga Kogen then you have to stop here. Great service. Awesome public lounge with great views
we had an amazing 5days family stay: the room was spacious for three, the food in both restaurants excellent. being straight in the slope, with a walk-through ski-room is very convenient. in- and outdoor onsen is an oasis of relaxation. provided cosmetics were amazing, i do regret not purchasing some for home after check-out.

Great hotel, delicious food, professional and very helpful stuff, great facilities (onsen, pool, sauna, cold bath) and TOP location - ski in/out.
We stayed here for 5 nights and will definitely return. Highly recommended!
amazing place to stay for winter, great skiing and snowboarding rental area and great slope, the hotel restaurants are super nice, on the expensive end but worth it! recommend the Japanese restaurant! the hosts are nice and the rooms are very comfortable.
I came from the Snow Monkey Park Senjukaku and took a bus to Okushiga Plateau at the bus station for about 40 minutes. It drove all the way into the depths of the mountains. In the middle, I passed the mountain station where there was a cable car for sightseeing. As I walked further, I saw some dilapidated hotels. The terrace room has a stunning view of the garden and distant mountains! The welcome drink was also delicious! It's very quiet at night around here, and there aren't many streetlights, so there's not much to buy, but it's very relaxing!
The room was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. The breakfast was small but excellent. For a hotel in Japan, this one is very comfortable. It has a balcony where you can watch the stream, which is very relaxing. The location is also great.
unbeatable location, with the famous arabica coffee with 30 meters and 渡月桥 in 100 meter, and a well designed and artistic hotel
Muni hospitality, thoughtfulness can be felt in their service delivery, layout and design. We felt very comforting when the front desk officer Akemi Shibuta was concern due to our late arrival without any upfront notice that food options will be limited and sent us an email to check in on us. Hoshinoya Tokyo has been an incredible stay. Everything feels calm, intentional, and thoughtfully done, from the design of the space to the overall atmosphere. It truly feels like a quiet retreat in the middle of the city.

My husband and I are experienced world travelers who stay at 5-star hotels. This was our second visit to Tokyo and last time, we stayed in Ginza. The architecture of the building is undoubtedly elegant and impressive with the 17-floor onsen with a view of a night sky with the moon hanging high up there. The staff...
We had an exceptional stay with our twin infants. The hotel’s commitment to families is unmatched—they provided cribs, high chairs, and even a bottle washer, which made our logistics seamless.

Stunning sea views, delightful private hot springs, attentive service, and an abundant array of delicious food. An excellent experience overall.
The hotel has a not to be missed ocean view, but the food variety turns out to be the disappointment. Not so much of choice when comparing it with other ryukan. Another places for your attention is that the toilet and the room has a very strong and unpleasant urine smell. Though I cannot find any uncleaned spots in the toilet, the odor is simply untolerable.
The onsen at the balcony has human hair...

On the second day of my Kyushu trip on a weekday in late February, I stayed overnight after playing a round at Karatsu Golf Club. I was able to park my rental car next to the carp pond at the entrance.
I checked in without waiting at 4 PM, decided on dinner time, and the landlady escorted me to my room.
I immediately went to the large public bath. She said it was okay to change towels as many times...
My husband and I stayed overnight at a hot spring inn in Yobuko, Karatsu City.
Dinner was served in our room and included the famous Yobuko squid, as well as a selection of fresh Yobuko seafood dishes. Everything was delicious and we were very satisfied. The sweetness and firmness of the squid was particularly exceptional.
The hot spring also had a calming atmosphere, allowing us to relax and soothe...
This hotel's high reviews are certainly understandable. Everything, from pickles to desserts, squid shumai, and more, is homemade by the chef. Everything was absolutely delicious! It's been a while since I've had such a satisfying hotel meal. Lately, I've found hotels where the rooms are clean but the food is disappointing, even though the prices are high, so I was incredibly impressed. I can see why...
It was great. The ocean was close by, and the public bath was nice. I had a luxurious time. However, it would have been nice if the price had been a little more reasonable.
This is a Japanese-style hotel with OK service. The hot spring is very good.
The downside is that we ate dinner in the room, and the smell of roast beef lingered for a long time, which didn't feel good.
Staying in a hot spring hotel with two meals, there is a language barrier, but the waiters are very kind and sincere and keep smiling. The dinner is squid sashimi and tempura, which are very delicious and there are a lot of them. The breakfast is Japanese style, both are very good. eat. Worth recommending.

This hotel is a 20-minute taxi ride from Kagoshima Airport. The room comes with a private bath, and the dinner and breakfast are amazing, with different meals every night.
The rooms at this hotel are large and have great views. The open-air bath is especially nice, right next to the stream. The food is exquisite. My favorite is the foot bath, the view is stunning. Although Kyushu's hot springs are generally located in valleys with streams, this hotel still stands out for its scenery.
A super perfect experience, friendly service, perfect meals, unbeatable views, an unforgettable journey, especially the service from ********* people at the counter!

Our requests were all carefully accommodated, and our stay was pleasant. The breakfast was delicious and had a unique menu that you won't find anywhere else. I also had a great time talking with the owner, and I hope to visit again after the East Wing is renovated.

Fantastic helpful staff, great rooms and beautiful location
The hotel was built in an older era, so the facilities are not comparable to those of newer hotels. However, the sanitation condition is okay, the service is full marks, and the overall stay experience is still very good.

Breakfast was given the same treatment, I have nothing but praises for my stay here. Not to mention the service...
As is often the case with renovated older buildings, the rooms were uncomfortable. Noise, temperature, etc. Since it was winter, the air conditioning alone wasn't enough to keep my feet warm, so I checked out early in the morning. The food was good, though.

This is my second trip to Kotohira. I paid twice as much as I did last time at Kotosankaku, but I can't tell the difference. And I used two types of rooms, but they gave me the same room even though the price was different. I don't understand why. So I felt bad about my trip. I don't think I'll go again.

First, I checked in at a nearby cafe. I was given amenities there. The room was spacious, with a separate shower and toilet, and even a study-like room. Kin no Yu was also nearby, which I was very happy with. It was a great, affordable inn.
Excellent hotel! I really liked the service, the room was large, everything was clean, and the breakfast was excellent. Check-in is in the cafe, so check the website to avoid getting lost.

I was a little worried at first because check-in and check-out were done at a nearby cafe, but the explanations were easy to understand and it wasn't as inconvenient as I thought it would be.
I was surprised that the walls were thin and I could clearly hear the sound of the toilet paper being rolled and flushed in the next room.
However, I was satisfied with the size, atmosphere, and relaxing feeling...
When I checked in at the cafe, the staff were very friendly and I was able to get from the cafe to the inn without any trouble.
For a couple of nights, it's a perfect option! Comfortable beds, larger than single beds. The room was cool, but there was air conditioning. The cafe that gave out instructions for check-in gave coffee to go and all the bath accessories. The room has a small room in traditional Japanese style - with a low table, ottomans, and in the drawers there are two kimonos and baskets to take with all this to...
