The room was very spacious, especially the bathroom 😆—it was huge and spotless, and all the toiletries were brand-name. The hotel is right above a subway station, which made getting around super convenient.

Although the room included lounge access, I ended up taking it easy and ended up being five minutes late during the daytime, meaning I couldn't receive the service. Finally checked off my must-stay hotel! Getting to the hotel from Sapporo was easier than I expected. Zaborin offers a pick-up service from Kuch'an Station. The autumn scenery along the way was breathtaking. This adjective also describes the Michelin-starred dining experience; I personally preferred the breakfast, which was exceptionally refined.

Zaborin has entered into the ranks of one of my favourite ryokans in Japan. We visited in the midst of a very hot summer and even though the ryokan was not air conditioned and we were so warm the whole time (except in the room) we still enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Ito Ryokuyu is a special place. We spent 3 nights in the Mikura room and could not be happier. The room was spacious and boasted of beautiful and traditional Japanese design from the tatami mats to the wood carvings. The cute onsen was our first stop in the morning and our last in the evening every day, and left our skin glowing and minds relaxed. The food was exceptional. We had dinner and breakfast...

Onsen hotel, we ordered with private bath, including breakfast and dinner. Got picked up at Ito station. The staff is so helpful, and serves dinner and breakfast in your room. A great experience. You should know some Japanese going here, as it increases the experience even further.

This was a really incredible stay! The staff was so welcoming, kind, and patient. Food was delicious and plentiful, and the baths were wonderfully relaxing. I had a great time in Ito, and I highly recommend Ito Ryokuyu for a refreshing and luxurious time!

We booked the Shikine room - a beautiful traditional Japanese-style tatami room with a private open-air hot spring bath, as well as in-room dinner and breakfast. The service was excellent from start to finish: warm greetings, luggage assistance, room setup, and even pick-up and drop-off from the station. They even held umbrellas for us when it rained! Highly recommended! You can tell how comfortable it is by looking at the photos. The private bath room is really good and you can go out to bathe at any time. The service is first-class. You must order two meals. It is very delicious. The transportation is also convenient. It is only 7-8 minutes walk from Yidongnan Station.
