Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel, Osaka1 / 30
9.4
Osaka, 1-1-43 Abeno-suji, Abeno-ku 🧭 Map
This is my second time staying here, and they even gave me tickets to the observation deck upstairs! The hotel is still incredibly well-maintained after all these years – the room was spotless. I'm very familiar with this location; Ichiran Ramen is right downstairs.
The views, day and night, are absolutely unbeatable! Breakfast was good too. The Kintetsu Department Store right downstairs, as well as the surrounding Abeno shopping street and Q's Mall, are fantastic for browsing. Plus, it's really close to the subway station, making transportation super convenient.
service is excellent and the view is amazing. had a great time here and wish i stayed longer
Everthing about the hotel is fantastic except the breakfast which is very mediocre. The location has access to a few train lines besides being the 1st stop from Kaisai Airport on Haruku line. Below hotel has 3 floors of restaurants and a departmental store with supermarket. The hotel room has great view of Osaka city from morning to night.
The subway station and a shopping mall are right downstairs, making it super convenient to get around. You can even drop off your purchases in your room and continue shopping! The high floor offers a beautiful night view, and the lobby also has a nice outlook.
Marriott Miyako has became my go-to hotel when I visit Osaka due to the convenient location, hardware has always been wonderful and front desk staffs are always welcoming and polite, breakfast is pretty good with different main dish (eggs) everyday However, I did not have a good experience this time at restaurant ZK, its my third time having teppanyaki there, but this time the chef seems not happy...

Mitsui Garden Hotel Jingugaien Tokyo Premier, Tokyo1 / 25
9.0
Tokyo, 11-3 Kasumigaokamachi, Shinjuku City, Shinjuku Ward 🧭 Map
The value for money isn't great. The interior feels on par with a domestic Atour hotel, but it's nearly 2500 [currency]. Hotels in Tokyo are so expensive! During cherry blossom season, it was crowded. We even had to take a number to queue for breakfast, but we didn't wait long, only about 10 minutes. The only real advantage is its proximity to Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden.
Great location, very convenient to the National Stadium, and the surroundings are beautiful. The accommodation itself is quiet and comfortable, and I particularly loved the large balcony in the room.
A beautiful hotel! The rooms are a bit small, but they come with a large balcony offering amazing views. There's also a rooftop observation deck where I enjoyed a spectacular night view of Tokyo. If the weather is good, you can even see Mount Fuji in the morning. The location is excellent, and the service is top-notch. The front desk staff speak fluent English, and there were many Western guests. I...
I stayed at the Mitsui Garden Hotel specifically for a concert. The National Stadium is right across the street, and I could even see it from my balcony. Once the concert started, I could hear it clearly from my room. The hotel is conveniently located, with a subway station just a left turn outside the entrance. If you walk through the small garden next to the hotel, there's a Starbucks in the hospital...
I chose this hotel because it's directly opposite the New National Theatre, as I was here for a concert. The environment is lovely, and the location is super convenient. Plus, there's a hot spring! Every night after a day of shopping, I'd go soak in the onsen to relax and relieve my fatigue.
I chose this hotel for my trip to see TWICE's concert at the New National Stadium, and it was incredibly convenient, just across the road from the venue. The hotel staff were skilled and had excellent attitudes, especially the front desk receptionist who assisted with check-in. The attached photo shows the hotel's main entrance with the stadium visible in the distance, for your reference.

Would be good to have a car to drive around, spacious room with a nice view.
Very good buffet with International selection and also local Okinawan food. Rooms are spacious and hv balcony with ocean view. Front desk very professional esp Mr Yoshida who is very helpful and speaks good English. Location convenient to travel around to diff parts of mid and north Okinawa
It’s a pity we have to shorten our stay due to driving license issue and could not rent a car. The hotel room is spacious and comfortable. Pillow is a bit small and soft. Ocean view is spectacular . We are glad to get help from Uezu-san to book a half day tour to aquarium and kouri tower, as it is difficult to travel without driving. It’s also lucky that limousine bus stop at this hotel to enable us...
This is a fantastic property for families. It is truly an all inclusive resort with fantastic rooms, food options, facilities and in room amenities. The Suite Grande room was a great choice with a washer dryer, plenty of space and plenty of streaming options included in the nice Sony Bravia TV with soundbar (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, Ameba etc.). On site breakfast was also great with two options...
Very spacious with very comfy bed. The big bath tub allowed me to have a nice and fun bath time with my baby daughter. A balcony with sea view makes it even more perfect. On top of that, reception staff are super welcoming and friendly. Thanks for your smile and a very smooth check-in-out process.
Hotel upgraded us to club room. Beautiful sea view from the hotel room. Good food, beverage and Blue Seal ice-cream selections for the hotel breakfast buffet.

I vividly recall our check-in experience: we were supposed to check in at 12:00 PM, but due to a massive snowstorm, we were stranded at the airport right after landing and couldn't get to the hotel until 3:00 AM. However, the hygiene, service, and environment were all excellent. It's also super convenient for dining, shopping, and taking the subway. There's a duty-free shop right downstairs from...
The triple room is convenient for families traveling with children, but this room is genuinely small. It's the first time I've stayed in a hotel where I had to open my suitcase right by the entrance door in the hallway, leaving absolutely no space to move around and pack. Other than that, the location and transportation are quite convenient, and there are restaurants within walking distance. However...
The room was very clean, a bit small, but we could open and place both of our suitcases. It was fine for three people. The service was excellent. For breakfast, there were both Japanese and Western options available, and we tried both – they were pretty good. Other than the small room, it's definitely Crowne Plaza standard.
This older hotel has really small rooms; with an extra bed, we couldn't even open our luggage. However, its location and service are excellent. The airport bus stops directly in front of the hotel, so you don't have to worry about snow when loading/unloading bags. It's perfect for a city walk to Odori Park and Tanukikoji. The lovely front desk staff helped us book a shuttle to a hot spring resort,...
Excellent, highly recommended for families with children. Kids under 12 stay for free. An extra bed costs 1000 JPY. They also provide complimentary bottled water daily. The location is superb; it's right across from Deoksu Palace and just one street away from Daimaru Department Store. Plus, free luggage storage is available. Definitely a strong recommendation!
Nice Location, very convenience  to tourist area and shopping.  Staff NO smile is the only draw back, smile often make customer feel staff is friendly.  Convenient parking.

Fukuoka, 2 Chome-18-25 Hakata Ekimae, Hakata Ward 🧭 Map
Kind staff that understand me with even though I know 0 Japanese and coming from Canada the staff are really the best. They go way way beyond my expectations of what a hotel staff are supposed to do. The room was great and was prepared exactly as we asked for and the room service was also so fast and clean. The lobby as you enter the hotel was nothing but luxurious vibes with changing displays to make...
I have very mixed feelings about my stay. First off, the service was impeccable; the reception staff were incredibly friendly and professional. The hardware in the room was also practical—plenty of power outlets in good locations (better than Mitsui Garden) and a Smart TV with Netflix/YouTube. However, I had a terrifying experience during the night. The room lighting was very dim with limited controls...
I stayed at Hotel Nikko for a longer period during my trip at Fukuoka, and I thought it was very nice. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit. All the front desk staff I encountered were friendly, polite, and helpful. The hotel is very close to Hakata Station, only about a 3–5 minute walk. Ichiran Ramen is also nearby, which made it very convenient. I also tried the in-room massage service...
Room size and location were our main criteria. Very good for both. Very clean and well maintained hotel; but it is showing its age, esp the room/bathroom. Only one plug at each bed; no usb plugs anywhere. Bring an extension and/or plugs. Also, only two-prong plugs accepted; bring an adapter. The breakfast buffet was average. The famous Fukuoka-baguette wasn't to my liking ... so I cut out all the fillings...
Rooms are quite practical. Seems they've upgraded and renovated the room itself, as this hotel seems to have a history. All the staff are quite friendly, attentive, always smiling, well-groomed and mannered, always greeting guests, willing to assist. I'm amazed with the service level at this hotel. The hotel itself is quite close by to Hakata station and Amu plaza. Quite a lot of eateries and café...
It's not very cheap, and it's an old capsule. I think the large public bath is nice. I chose the Royal Capsule, but I didn't really understand what was so royal about it. You can't bring in food or drinks, it's a hassle to go out, and there are many other things that make it difficult to use.

Location in best just above Yokohama station. Lots of eating options in the station and yodabashi shopping. Near by walking to outdoor shopping street with many 24 hrs dining Room is huge for Japan hotel standards.
Overall, the service was great, and the location is super convenient – definitely worth staying here! The breakfast selection, while not as extensive as in China, was still very good. Highly recommended!
The room was clean and tidy, and the hotel staff were very friendly and attentive. Plus, the location is super convenient. I'd definitely come back again.
The hygiene was good, and the location was very convenient, with easy subway access to Tokyo. The trade-off is that there's a lot of foot traffic nearby and many exits, so it takes a bit of getting used to when you first arrive. Overall, I recommend it.
This is a great, old-school hotel. The water pressure in the shower is fantastic, really washes away the day's fatigue.
The hotel's location is incredibly convenient! The subway takes you directly into the hotel and the mall, making shopping a breeze. Getting to Yokohama Station is super easy with all the connections. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Beautiful, stylish, with a great view from the upper floors. But the service is incredibly slow—both at check-in and at breakfast (there's a line there, actually).
Awesome stay the staffs are so nice!
I originally booked a W Suite and arrived at 12 PM hoping to secure a high-floor room, but was only given the 8th floor. So, I paid more to upgrade to a Marvelous Suite. Honestly, the hardware facilities are excellent, but! If you want to experience differential treatment, this W is the place to be. First, someone else's laundry was mistakenly delivered to our suite. The ambiance is good, it feels a bit like a KTV.
Cool design, we stayed in a room with a city view. The cleaning is good, and the breakfast includes eggs, cheese, bread, and fruit. There is a large and stylish swimming pool, a sauna, and a gym.

This hotel is perfect if you don't want to walk far from Sapporo station and you need to leave early for the airport. Just a few minutes beside Stellar Place mall. Upon checking in, I upgraded from a standard twin room to a deluxe corner twin room for the first night directly at the front desk. The location is superb, right above the JR station, so you don't have to drag your luggage through the snow. There's a shopping mall downstairs, which is convenient for shopping. The hotel is located on top of the JR towel, right next to the train station. Very convenient for taking snow bus from Rusutsu or Nesiko and JR train to and from the airport. I wish they don’t charge extra for the onsen, 2150 JPY per person seems high for guests staying in the...
Excellent location, accessible through the mall, so no need to drag luggage through the snow. The room was spacious with large corner windows offering expansive views. Toiletries and pajamas were provided, and the humidifier was a great bonus.
The location is super convenient, especially in heavy snow. When the roads are covered in slush, it's a huge relief that this hotel has direct access from JR, so you don't even have to go outside. The staff are friendly and thoughtful, and the view is great – the west-facing scenery is particularly beautiful.

The room was great, small but perfectly formed. It was super convenient for everything – shopping, dining, and getting around on the subway. Everything was just so easy! I'll definitely be staying here again, haha, it was really good.
The location is fantastic, super convenient for shopping in Ginza, with a subway exit right outside the hotel. I noticed the hairdryer was a bit dirty while washing my hair, but a quick call to the front desk got it replaced very promptly. I recommend the yakiniku restaurant directly across the street from the hotel.
The front desk had staff who spoke Chinese, the room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was excellent; you could walk to the entire Ginza shopping district. There's a popular ramen place nearby that wasn't very good, but a Yakiniku restaurant called Jojoen (not the one on the Mitsukoshi building) was incredibly delicious. You won't have to worry about food or drinks staying here...
The location is superb, with an airport bus stop not far away, right in Ginza, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. Everything is within walking distance, which is why we chose to stay here on our last day.
It was okay. The carpet was a bit old, which surprised me. I'd stayed here 6 or 7 years ago, and I remembered it as soon as I walked into the lobby. The twin rooms are all street-facing. The location is just so-so; it's close to Mitsukoshi. I usually use Ginza Station, so Higashi-Ginza is a station I rarely use. Despite being away from the city they charge for parking and also despite being a platinum elite member no benefits extended. They were pretty stuck about everything and I did not enjoy the lack of care. We celebrated my wife’s 50th birthday there and they were aware and the gift that was kept in the room was 2 sachets of bath salt. Something really needs to be done in terms of service.
This hotel stay was quite bizarre from start to finish. First off, because we booked during maple leaf season, the price was in the four figures, but neither the service nor the facilities met the standards one would expect for that price point or for a 5-star hotel, as some reviews claimed. The hotel's location is actually quite convenient; although it's a bit far out, it's very close to the subway...
The location is quiet, the hotel environment is excellent, and the service is very professional. The rooms are spacious with great views, and opening the window lets in fresh air. The welcome gift was a pleasant surprise. The only downside was the high price due to the holiday season.
The environment here is great, very tidy and clean. The breakfast was delicious, and the location is super convenient for visiting nearby temples. Getting around by subway is also very easy. Overall, the hotel felt very quiet and comfortable.
Excellent! The room was very spacious and clean. The front desk service was also great. This was the most satisfying stay during my trip to Japan.
They upgraded us to a massive suite, which was a pleasant surprise and a little unexpected 😀. The hotel itself has good facilities and service. After comparing several hotels for this trip to Japan, I ultimately chose The Westin, and overall, I'm very satisfied with my stay. The twin room I booked had spacious beds, and there are multiple shopping malls conveniently located near the hotel, making dining and shopping very accessible. Highly recommended!
After a long search, I finally settled on The Westin, an established hotel that was renovated last year. Location: It's a 6-7 minute walk from Osaka Station, which is both convenient and peaceful, tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Cleanliness: There's really nothing to complain about when it comes to cleanliness in Japanese hotels. Facilities: The room was spacious enough, which was my favorite...
The room was spacious and the hygiene was good. The hotel isn't very large but it's well-designed and chic. The shuttle bus service ends a bit early, but otherwise, everything else was pretty good. The hotel is a little bit of a walk from Osaka Station, but it's a pleasant stroll after dinner.
The main selling point is the spacious room – plenty of space for luggage!
I was extremely satisfied with my stay this time; it's honestly one of the most comfortable hotels I've stayed in recently. The location is excellent: The hotel is in the city center with incredibly convenient transportation. It's just a 5-minute walk to the subway station, making it easy to get to all the major attractions and shopping areas. Even though it's in a bustling area, the soundproofing...

The location is superb: just a 3-minute walk to American Village, 2 minutes to the seaside, and a 5-minute stroll to the beach. In the evenings, you can go beachcombing, and at dusk, enjoy beautiful sunsets from the aptly named Sunset Beach. Highly recommended!
Nice hotel, great location, my first choice hotel when I visit Okinawa.
Still a big fan of Hilton. Great location and excellent service, especially from the front desk staff. A huge thank you to Ctrip for relaying my requests to the hotel in advance.

Everything about the hotel was great. It's about a 10-minute walk from Shinagawa Station (JR Narita Express) with a large suitcase. However, this is the second time I've experienced an unexpected train delay on the Narita Express, and I almost missed my flight! I recommend not cutting it too close when booking train tickets.
Great location but as a lot of construction nearby, it made the journey from the train station to hotel not easy. Room is spacious and with a beautiful Japanese garden.
We are a family of 4 stayed there for 6 nights. The hotel is dated but well maintained. Generally satisfactory. Unfortunately the beds were uncomfortable. We could sense that the mattresses were quite old. Out of the 3 beds, only one is merely ok. One below par and one is bad. The bad bed gave you a very uncomfortable backache the next day. We complained to the hotel the next day. They changed the...
The room was spacious and nice, though the facilities were a bit old. The breakfast selection was limited.
The room was spacious and the location was convenient. The environment was quiet and beautiful.
I stayed here with my friends for a luxurious 'hokansu' (hotel vacation). The bathroom was spacious, and having two large mirrors made it really convenient for us girls to get ready. We booked a plan with breakfast, but we woke up late and missed the last order at Sakura Tower. However, we were able to have breakfast at the neighboring Takanawa without any extra charge, which was a lifesaver! It was...

We had a delightful stay at the Palace Hotel. The room is spotless and amenities are ample and good quality. We didnt dine at the hotel as we like to go to exploring and there are ample good quality restaurants closeby.
The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Tokyo Station, making it super convenient for getting around. The prices are usually very reasonable too. I really enjoyed the room with a terrace – the view was incredible as there was nothing obstructing it.
Easily my favourite hotel in Tokyo and in my top 3 globally! The views from the balcony are breathtaking, the staff are some of the best I’ve ever encountered and the breakfast is industry-standard setting in a continent that cares a great deal about breakfast!
Very disappointing Spa facilities for ladies. Only a warm (38 °C) marble sauna. The male facilities have a proper dry sauna and jacuzzi. Also, while visiting the Chinese restaurant, we ordered their 1/4 duck, but the rolls were only made with the Duck skin. We were told they dispose of the Duck meat. Crazy! After querying, they brought us another 1/4 duck with skin and meat, but we were charged for...
Excellent location. Impeccable services. Room with balcony is to die for in Tokyo
This hotel is an above average 5 star hotel in experience, facilities and most of all its people. Large hotel with large tasteful spaces and direct link to the Tokyo rail network by escalator within the hotel. Directly across the road from the Imperial Palace and a short reasonable walk to Tokyo station and Daimaru shopping centre. Rooms were very nice and clean and quiet. The best water pressure from...
