Wakura Onsen Notoraku, Nanao1 / 22
8.7
Chubu region, Nanao, 1 Chome-14 Ishizakimachi Kashima 🧭 Map
The breakfast was fresh and delicious, especially the crab tempura and rice, and the fresh pineapple for fruit. The room was spacious enough, and the bathroom was particularly roomy, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing. The downsides were: 1. The central air conditioning and fan clearly had a lot of mold buildup that hadn't been cleaned; 2. The air conditioner was quite noisy, and when it was on...
The architecture is magnificent, and the service is professional and enthusiastic. The hot spring itself doesn't have much of a flavor. The main building has good heating and facilities, but the Nodoya annex, although on a higher floor, is too cold due to insufficient heating.
The rooms in the annex are small, as is the hot spring bath. The hot spring bath in the main building is large, but the view isn't great, and the breakfast is average. The supermarket and Matsumoto Kiyoshi store across from the hotel are large and inexpensive.
The hotel is really great; I never expected to get this level of hot spring hotel for this price. They offer a shuttle service from the station to the hotel, and if you don't speak Japanese, you can ask Ctrip customer service for help with reservations.
The stay was very comfortable, the hot springs were top-notch, and the hotel as a whole was very large.
We used this hotel for a special family trip. When we informed them in advance, they even upgraded our room on the day. We were very satisfied with everything from the luxurious facilities to the large open-air bath overlooking the ocean and the delicious food! We would definitely use this hotel again!

It was very clean and the service was good
We had a wonderful trip. The hotel's location was perfect and convenient. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious, and the hotel itself was beautiful. The breakfast and dinner were delicious, which we greatly appreciated. It was truly great value for money, and my friend and I had a comfortable night's rest. We will definitely choose this hotel again next time we come.
I had read in a review that the exterior of the hotel was old, so I was prepared for that, and I wasn't particularly surprised. The lounge in the lobby was stylish and had a resort hotel feel. The room seemed to have been renovated, and was a beautiful Japanese-Western style room with a lake view. Having a Japanese-style room was convenient because you could spread out your luggage freely. The toilet...
big hotel with separated spa to use, dinner and breakfast included the fee. Nice and helpful customer service
3 star hotel. Has a membership option. Bath was newly renovated, food reasonable. has a nice pool not to big though, during summer till August 31st.
They have a room for up to 4 people. There is a pool (summer only) and several tennis courts, in addition to a small game arcade and a table tennis table. I guess most rooms have a good view of the lake.

We would love to stay here again. Morning breakfast is good and staff were hospitable .
If you are in Toyohashi, just choose Just Inn Premium. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Though, it seems they are not used to having foreigners, the desk lady was more than willing to cater to our needs. The room is just the perfect size. The table you get is really wide. The standard oom was small but very clean and looks/feels new. Bedding was very comfortable. Room smelled clean. View was very much worth the stay and was beautiful. Staff was very nice and friendly. The hotel is a short walk away from the station.
The staff were very accommodating. Our room was clean and spacious enough for two people. Room amenities are also well provided. We had a comfortable stay.

Meitetsu Inn Chita Handa Ekimae, Handa1 / 28

Chubu region, Handa, 1-120-2 Kose-cho 🧭 Map
It's a great location, just a 1-minute walk from Meitetsu Station and 25 minutes to Nagoya. The breakfast is delicious, and the price is reasonable, so it's a great value. Please come and stay with us!
All staff were very welcoming. The atmosphere was very positive. Breakfast was included and was very good. There was Japanese style and Western style food. Some items on the menu changed so there was good variety. I have stayed at Meitetsu Inn many times and the standard has always been excellent. I intend to stay there again.
The curry at breakfast was delicious, but the semi-double bed seemed a little cramped. If it were a little taller, it would be more comfortable to sit on.
Location near airport, near train station, convenient for travel
The price is great, and breakfast is included too. The room was clean. It was quiet during my stay, and there were restaurants nearby, so it was a convenient location.
We shared a twin room for two people. It was a little small and cramped. The free coffee and other drinks and the breakfast were very delicious.

The Prince Villa Karuizawa, Karuizawa1 / 30

Chubu region, Karuizawa, 1016-85 Karuizawa 🧭 Map
I'd seen some reviews saying the facilities were a bit old-fashioned, but I actually found them to be perfectly fine. It was clean and hygienic, and the staff were very welcoming. Since it was winter, there weren't many tourists, so it was wonderfully quiet. We booked two twin rooms for our group of three adults and one child, and we were all really happy with the room views. We booked breakfast...
The room is quite spacious with a great design, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. The lobby is grand with stunning floor-to-ceiling window views. There are shuttle services to the hot springs and outlet mall nearby, but the most convenient thing is the train station! 👍
I brought my own snowboard to Karuizawa. It's a 70-minute Shinkansen ride from Tokyo Station to JR Karuizawa Station. The Shinkansen luggage racks have straps to secure snowboards. After exiting the station, head to the hotel service center (open until 7 PM) located on the far right of the 7/11 convenience store at the South Exit (Pic 7). You can drop off your luggage there and then explore the Plaza...
Facilities: Although old, everything is in working order. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: Very pleasant, you could spend days here without even leaving the hotel. Service: The hotel offers a shuttle bus, and if you miss it, the staff will even arrange a business car for you, which is very convenient.
The staff are nice and helpful . The room is well equipped and cozy . The shuttle bus service and transfer service is thoughtful . The view outside is fantastic . The onset is great !
True to its reputation as an established resort hotel, the rooms are spacious, and the environment is excellent. The shuttle service is incredibly convenient. After arriving at JR, you can drop off your luggage at the Prince Hotel reception and go shopping directly. By the time you check in, your luggage will already be in your room. It’s absolutely one of three most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed at! Epitome of luxury in terms of art work n decor. The Moroccan spa in B1 is the best Onsen pool in Japan. Rooms are big n so quiet n comfy. Want to go back asap
Basically everything was excellent. The staff were considerate and helpful. I was impressed by the personalized hospitality. The only thing that bothers me is the breakfast, which needs improvement. I wish there were more options to choose from. Also, the timing of people coming to collect plates and used food was so quick that it didn't feel like a relaxing experience and it was very hectic. I came...
Traveling with family, the connecting rooms were so convenient!

From both the reception and the restaurant, you can enjoy a spectacular view of Nagoya Castle all to yourself. Loved it is correct but no more. How in any logic could the IDIOTS in Marriott HQ dispose of this property???? From the room you can get a direct view of that iconic Nagoya Castle. Now that it is in other hands, no value to stay there at the same prices. 🤔👹😤😎
Many thanks to all the staff that helped us to find the bag of our daughter that we forgot on the train from Tokyo to Nagoya. In 1 day the hotel staff were able to connect with the JR lost and found department and arrange for the bag to be in Osaka station just on time for out departure to Europe. I usually stay at hotels near Taikodori exit when I'm in Nagoya, and this one is right across from the express bus terminal. It's basically a 5-minute walk after crossing the street. The 11 AM check-out is quite convenient, the room is a decent size, and the hygiene is good.
Facilities: The room is well-equipped! Hygiene: Overall, the hygiene facilities are quite clean! Environment: The surrounding environment is quite convenient! Service: The hotel staff's service attitude is excellent! Overall, I'm very satisfied with my experience!
Strategic location near to Shinkansen station. Room is spacious and clean Good service with check in sharp at 2pm, better than other hotel which is from 3pm Good as stopover to travel to other nearby attractions A lots of food outlets nearby and underground of station
Comfortable stay. Quite near to JR station. As with most Japanese hotels, you can take the amenities near the counter.
Very convenient and central with amenities and supper choices around. A good base to travel out from.
Highly recommended. Spacious room (Japanese standard). Free bottled water everyday is definitely a bonus. Maple leaf in 名花之里 was spectacular.

The location is very convenient, just a few steps from Toyama station.
The hotel is conveniently located, just about a 3-minute walk from Toyama Station. Simply exit the station, turn left, and you'll find the entrance in the building right next to the Toyama Chiho Railway. Its transport links are excellent, making it incredibly easy to catch either the Toyama Chiho Railway or JR trains, which is especially convenient for accessing Tateyama. The breakfast spread was plentiful...
Access to JR and local train stations is incredibly convenient, with both just a 10-minute walk away. Right downstairs, you'll find a medium-sized supermarket and dozens of restaurants offering a wide array of cuisines, from Asian to Western, including hot and cold dishes, and an extensive selection of drinks and desserts.
The staff initially complained due to a misunderstanding, thinking the booking was not under my name.
Located close to train station! Room is clean. Reasonable price.
This hotel boasts a super convenient location, just a two-minute walk from Toyama Station, making it incredibly easy to get anywhere. The rooms are spacious, well soundproofed, and spotlessly clean. Super super super nice breakfast. The receptionists all can speak very good English
Great location, very close to the station and surprisingly quiet. However, there was a strong BBQ smell in the hotel hallway, likely from the yakiniku restaurant downstairs. It actually smelled quite good! We even ended up eating there. My clothes definitely smelled of grilled meat afterward. I didn't take any photos of the hotel itself, but it had a rather artistic vibe to it.
Walking distance to Kanazawa Station, seems like a good breakfast spread. Very good value given the price.
Hotel is close to Kanazawa train station. Good dining restaurants at the station. I have booked a bus trip to ShirakawaGo which is just behind the stations. The Samurai’s residence area and the Ninja temple was places of interest. Love to come back again.
It was a nice stay with luck as we enjoying snowy in Kanazawa. The hotel is very close to the JR station and shopping centre which is within 15 mins pleasant walk around. It is clean and tidy with good services. There is no doubt to revisit next time.
Nice hotel, convenient location. Walk to train and bus stations. Shopping mall nearby. No laundry facilities here. Room was small n we managed to upgrade. Can walk to market or take bus. Lawsons nearby.

Beautiful and clean ryokan style hotel! Staffs were friendly and kind. Always smiling and ever ready to help. Requested for room vacuum and they came immediately. The onsen was nice too but the water wasn’t hot enough for me. Room was a little small and plugs were quite limited but the view from our room, restaurant, and the observation was stunning. The kaiseki dinner was amazing too!
Booked a Mt Fuji View room and it was incredible! We had an awesome day of blue sky’s and clear views and loved being able to soak it up from our room. Gluten Free breakfast is also available at the hotel. They have an allergens list of the foods.
We stayed in a Japanese-style room facing Mt. Fuji – the best of both worlds! Breakfast offers a choice of Japanese or Western (or both) buffets, all with a stunning view of Mt. Fuji.The hotel isn’t modern, but it’s clean, tidy, and well-organized. Facilities include Toto toilets, relaxing onsen baths (note: no tattoos allowed), deep soaking tubs, a koi pond, wine bar, souvenir shop, coin laundry,...

The location is fantastic, right next to Fuji-Q Highland and with a direct bus connection. However, the rooms are at most a 3-star standard. Very close to Fuji Q. Have access to Fujiyama Onsen next door which looks popular among local people. Can see Fuji Mt from the lift when the weather is good.
Highland Resort & Spa Hotel is at excellent location, the express bus station from Tokyo is right by the door step. Although there is a theme park next door it didn’t seem to be open or busy. The hotel is really clean and quite spacious. The Airconditioning is centralized and we were there during winter so it’s on heater mode. The location is probably around 8-10min walk to Nagano station. They have coin laundry in the first floor. They have 2 pillows per bed, one firm and one soft.
The room was decent; I stayed on a newly renovated floor and had booked a larger room, which was very comfortable. The location is excellent! Just around the corner, you'll find the JR station, Meitetsu station, bus station, and Takashimaya. There are also delicious restaurants right outside the hotel. The room wasn't huge, but it was well-designed, and the breakfast was simple yet nutritious – they even had unagi donburi! Coffee and ice were available in the lobby. The staff were all very warm and attentive!
The breakfast offered a wide variety, and you could also take coffee to go. Plus, they had ice machines and self-service laundry facilities.
I stayed here during my trip to Nagoya. The facilities are typical of a standard business hotel, and I found it perfectly comfortable for my stay. However, breakfast was served in the lobby right as you entered the hotel, which wasn't the most comfortable setting. I'd recommend trying the local Nagoya-style breakfast spots nearby instead.

This hotel feels like a small but excellent value-for-money king, completely exceeding expectations. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but the quality and taste are excellent. They also offer complimentary noodles in the evening. The hot spring water quality is superb, and after a soak, there are various popsicles and ice creams available. The massage chairs are also incredibly comfortable.
When check in time, the staff is not friendly. Price is too expensive. Cannot keep luggage even for 1 day is the worst and inconvenience. The good thing is the free ramen and has facitily for onsen and sauna
Arrived a bit late at night, but check-in was smooth. It's a pretty standard hotel, and the room wasn't very big. It was a nice bussiness hotel because it was near to the station.
Good location, walking distance to Toyama station (tram, train and bus), and few shopping malls are around ! Staff are friendly and helpful . We enjoyed our 5 days stay !!
Front desk staff very friendly. He even gave us a free ride voucher for the tram.

The location is excellent, it’s near the train station.  This would be a rather rare for the route-inn chain. They are typically not that close to a major Train station. I like their onsen facility.
The hotel has an excellent location, very close to the tram station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel breakfast was also great, and the rooms are more spacious than typical economy hotels.
The hotel had excellent access from the station, which was very convenient. While the 'large' public bath was smaller than I had expected – more akin to a standard-sized bath – it wasn't crowded, and its compact nature actually worked out quite well.
The hotel is conveniently located right by the station. It's clean, and the communal bath is a great bonus. My only real issue was with the elevators. There are only two, and their operating system seemed quite inefficient, often leading to considerable waiting times.
While the building itself is a bit old, the room was incredibly clean, tidy, and comfortable. The housekeeping was clearly very thorough. The front desk staff wasn't overly warm or friendly, but they were very efficient and professional in their work, so I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. For the price, both the bath facilities and the meals were outstanding. I'll definitely stay here again the next...
There are so many services here that are great for families traveling with children. Kids eat breakfast for free, and it's a buffet, which is a fantastic perk! This really goes above and beyond what you'd typically expect from a business hotel. It's also a huge plus that even elementary school children are allowed to share a bed with their parents, though an additional fee applies.
