Very good hotel. Fantastic mountain and river view. Big room .
The hotel is a bit out of the way, about a 2000 JPY taxi ride from Gifu city center.
The rooms are spacious, with large bathrooms, walk-in closets, and big beds. Although a bit old, it's clean and suitable for families.
Service was just okay; we had to go to the front desk ourselves to get an extra bottle of water.
Since we were just transiting through Gifu, we only stayed for one night. I wouldn...
Very clean, good facilities and the massage was not expensive and really good as well. All facilities were included. So we had a good time :) definitely recommend this place.
Strategic location. Value for money. The only minus is kids unable to use the pool service.
The hotel is very big with the very reasonable price. However, the hotel don’t have ONsen and the staff could not communicate in English. The were trying to help but it took time. The city is very big. We like Masa21 mall nearby the hotel where you can go for dinner and shopping.
The Room was spacious and there was a good selection for breakfast!

Typical old school japanese. Good staff and location
Old hotel with old services and old beds and old smell.
Quiet location
nice and friendly staff. good service. need to have more choices in buffet breakfast.
Stayed during the rugby world cup. Great location 5 minutes from two subway stations, bars and restaurants all around. Compact room with everything you could need, well laid out, very clean, excellent service, cheap breakfast. No hesitation on returning.
My son and I stayed here 5 nights and loved the place. Room is good sized for Japan. Great staff. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Very clean and efficient. Self laundry available. Would definitely come back.
Overall its ok. If u are a non smoker, do not book the smoking floor if there are no available rooms as the smoking levels does really smell toooo strong. Purifier and aircon in the rooms are too contaminated that no amount of cleaning will purify the room.
Washing machine drying was really bad. Dry for 80mins but still wet even though there wasnt much clothes. Had to spend another 200yen for seperate...

Difficulty to communicate with them... They don't know how to speak English and keep repeating Japanese language
It's a bit of a walk from the station, but there are convenience stores and restaurants nearby, and there's also a large public bath, so I had a comfortable stay.
Great price, large room, self-check-in with an automated machine.
Located in a commercial area with a wide selection of food.
A very good reservation! It only takes about one kilometer to walk to Rong shopping district! The room is very clean and cleaning service is provided every day! The room includes breakfast, which is also good! ! There is an artificial hot spring bath, separated by men and women, and it is very comfortable to soak in it! ! ! ! ! ! !
I stayed overnight the day before my day off work as a change of pace somewhere nearby.
I have stayed at Route Inn and many other hotels on business trips, but this one was the cleanest and had plenty of amenities in the lobby, large public bath, and rooms, and the customer service was polite.
The miso stewed udon for dinner was delicious, and breakfast was replenished frequently and freshly made....
I think the hotel is ok. Depending on your budget and needs can be good deal, always compare.

The Nikko Style Nagoya is a truly wonderful hotel. The moment you walk into the lobby feels modern, warm and cosy. It is not your typical hotel in Japan. The service throughout the hotel was excellent. The staff at the reception were very helpful and spoke good English.
The rooms are spacious by Japanese standards, comfortable and clean, although the bed is a little too firm for me.

Stylish hotel, nice designed room, very friendly staff, good english skill at reception and at restaurant. Restaurant mainly serve western inspired dishes in good quality, little higher priced but ok for the environment of the hotel. Japanese style breakfast, semi-buffet, not too much choice but enough to stadt the day. To Sakake its a 20 min walk, to train station its a 10 min walk. Nearby loads of...
The hotel provided a very comfortable night’s sleep, with a cozy bed and a quiet atmosphere that made it easy to rest well. However, one downside was the lack of self-service laundry facilities, which would have made the stay more convenient, especially for longer visits.
This hotel is really a gem, the size of the room is very big compared to other hotels & their service is tops 👍 rooms are super clean & they have fantastic amenities !
It’s not that far from Nagoya train station, about 10 mins walk. Airport Limousine doesn’t stop at Nikko but you can stop at Kanko Hotel & it’s only 5 mins walk from there.
I’ve seen hairs around the sofa area. Location of this hotel is not prime location, can’t walk out to tourists street. But we came w a rental car, so it’s doesn’t matter. Just quiet room and very spacious room. Just across the hotel there’s one breakfast spot where the old Japanese man that sells simple and red bean paste bread. Just 1 min walk from the hotel. Although it’s listed as a 4-star hotel, I would wholeheartedly rate the service as a true 5-star experience. Recommended by a friend, and it lived up to expectations! The room was clean, the environment was lovely, and the service was attentive. It's quite convenient, and the high-floor views are great. I'd definitely stay here again.
Near tram station and castle. Room
Is spacious and amenities can be collected from the lobby if needed more.
Group hotel, basic amenities, car parking at same hotel building make an easy access.
Excellent location in the mid of the city. Convenient and comfortable to stay. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Variety and delicious breakfast to choose.
Great service by staff, very helpful, they received and sent my luggages by Yamato. Carpark right in basement is convenient. If only they didnt provide Chinese made bathroom toiletries (NZ brand). Right across to Toyama castle.

This is a record of backstreet dining.
The other day, I stayed at Hotel Matsukaze in the Tsuchibashi area of Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture.

I was looking for a twin room in Toyota City and this hotel was perfect. There are several chain restaurants within a few minutes' drive, but there aren't many places to eat within walking distance, so I wish I had booked breakfast.
I booked a Japanese-style tatami room. The room wasn't big, but it was enough for one person. The room didn't have a private toilet or bathroom; you had to go outside to use the public toilet. You could take a bath in the public bathhouse on the first floor, where you could bathe indoors or outdoors, which was relatively convenient.
It was a budget hotel in the outskirts of Toyota City, and since it was spring break, it was used by high school sports clubs and youth teams as lodging for their away games. There was a bath (with an open-air bath) where you could stretch your legs, which is understandable for the price, but the Japanese-style room was a bit small, and the toilet and sink were shared on the same floor, which was a...
The employees were smiling and very nice people.
However, the location from the station is bad, which is a shame.
The room is small, so if you're in the area for business, I thought it would be a good idea to stay alone.
I would like to use it again when I am nearby.
I stayed here. The restaurant had everything I wanted, so I was satisfied. The breakfast was Japanese and Western, so I was satisfied.
However, the coin laundry was outside, and the dryer was full of towels, and it was 100 yen, and it dried well in 20 minutes, but the fact that there were different towels in it was a problem.

The hotel looks like it is close to touristy things on the map, but it is in fact not. There are no restaurants nearby, so when we arrived that first night, it was difficult to find a place for dinner. This hotel is located in a great area, closer to some of the attractions in Kanazawa, walking distance from them.
The hotel is extremely clean and the staff are amazing, very helpful and courteous.
The only issue we had was that we could not control the heat and could not open the window, it got very hot inside the room.
Very cozy nice hotel. New and modernized, my stay there was very relaxed and comfortable. You will be given bootle of water after check-in, check-in and check-out has no problem at all. This is better than many American hotels, but honestly one of the worst I've stayed at in Japan. It reminded me of a cheap truck stop hotel, but actually clean.
Pros: Clean room, hot shower with good pressure, comfortable desk to work on, walking distance to many tourist locations in Kanazawa.
Cons: I could hear my neighbor downstairs sneezing and the upstairs neighbor quietly talking on the phone...

The open-air jacuzzi on the rooftop is incredibly relaxing, especially soaking in it during winter – it's fantastic! The service is also excellent. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit.

Good quality hotel. Comfortable bed and spacious room for Japan standard. Sufficient amenities.
Pretty far from nagoya station and slightly closer to Fushimi station which makes it complicated for tourists who are not driving but with large luggage. A nearby donki and market kind of make up for the inconvenient location.

Lovely place. Value for money. The rooms are clean, bed comfortable. Location is 8 minutes walk from the train station but you’ll have to use the underpass if you’re bringing a large luggage. Plenty of restaurants at the train station and the bus loop also starts there so very convenient. Only bad note of that there is nothing much other than a 7 Eleven in its immediate surroundings
In is very convenient location, close to the Kanazawa station, frienly staff and worth every penny
Great service, big comfy beds and very clean room. Separate bathroom and toilet. The only thing I can pick on is the room design that puts the washing basin outside as it takes away quite some usable space for the luggage when the room itself is quite spacious. We had two 55-65cm suitcases but still struggled slightly to get space for both.
It's genuinely very close to Kinshicho Station. The room was a bit small, but having a 7-Eleven downstairs was convenient for buying things. The hotel has a large public bath, which was nice for a soak. The front desk staff were very friendly. I'd definitely stay here again next time.

Solid hotel for the price, great location. The beds are notably hard. The walls are thin so it's easy to hear voices in the hallways from your room, but normally that's not a big issue.
