We had a great time at this hotel. We did not know in advance, but do note that this is a 'love hotel'. In Japan this means everything is discrete and private. It's very clean and a GREAT value for the money. We do recommend this hotel, because the room is very spacious and clean, with a hot tub, lots of amenities and free food, drinks and breakfast. The karaoke room was also great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's really worth the stay. 👍

I'm writing this because I had a bad experience and would like to request more consideration.
First of all, the bathroom ventilation seemed to be broken, as it was very foggy and smelled strongly of gas, so I couldn't use the bath. I paid extra for a room with a sauna, but the smell came from the changing room, so I couldn't use either, which made me feel like I wasted my money. Also, when it came time to pay, I had to wait in line with other people in the elevator, which was very awkward.
At the very least, I would like to request two payment machines instead of one, and that they be located somewhere other than near the elevator.

Yes, this is a "Love Hotel"
I was positively surprised by both the size of the room and everything that was included.
There was no shared breakfast, but everything was delivered straight to the room via a service hatch in the wall! Just ordered food via iPad in the room, and then it was delivered to the service hatch! No human contact, which worked great for us who were tired of seeing people after a day in Kyoto

A little far from the nearest station, 10min walk at a comfortable pace. Easy to navigate after Takeda station, so incredibly easy to get into Kyoto!

Use and Yamoto Luggage handling from the nearest 7/11 kiosk, so you don't have to drag your suitcase everywhere! We did this, and could enjoy the train without stressing about bags

This is a love hotel. The door is locked and I can't go out.
I thought it was unique for a business hotel so I made a reservation and was looking forward to it, but it turns out it's a love hotel. There's no place nearby to have dinner at night. When I tried to go to the convenience store, the door was locked and wouldn't open. I had to deposit cash to go out.

It's a little far from the nearest station, so it was hard to walk around with the carrier, but I was very satisfied with the hotel's free services (welcome drink, breakfast, karaoke, etc.). The room, bathroom, and TV are all large, so it's much better than hotels near the station.

This is a love hotel for couples, a bit far from main train station and malls, but very spacious and amazing bath.
