There was no food. Although there was a microwave in the lobby there was nowhere indicating where to wash the dishes. Rooms were tidied nicely everyday but there were stains on the room mats and no one put pillowcases on our extra pillows. The lobby folk were friendly but not forthcoming with any information for example was the water drinkable. Pro was proximity to Kyōto station walking kimonos and clean towels and bedding.

The room was large and clean, but the bathroom was a bit small, the hot water didn't flow well, and it was difficult to adjust the temperature.

The hotel was quite clean overall, but I accidentally forgot the check-out time. I thought it was an hour earlier than in China, 11:00 AM, but it was actually 10:00 AM. The room was quite small, but the overall experience was good. It was a novel experience to experience the Japanese accommodation atmosphere. The surrounding area was also quite quiet, not too noisy, as it's a residential area. Getting around is relatively convenient, about a 7-minute walk to the subway station. However, in the evening, the area is mostly residential, so there's not much activity, not even a convenience store. There are coin-operated vending machines downstairs, but that's something to keep in mind.

I wanted to experience a Japanese-style accommodation during my recent trip to Kyoto, so I made a reservation. Everyone at the hotel was friendly, the location was great, and the cleanliness was also good. They provided new bedding, towels, and amenities every day. The service was also good. If I were to miss breakfast, they would call me. I was satisfied in every way. If I visit Kyoto again, I would be willing to stay here again.

The room is old. Typical Japanese style. The room is bigger than expected. But the bathroom is super small. The toilet is facing the bathtub diagonally. Surprisingly, there is a big bath on the first floor. It's not big. But I was quite satisfied to go there alone for a bath at night.

The Japanese style rooms are highly recommended, cheaper than a Ryokan.

It's a good place for people who want to spend a quiet time in a quiet place. There is also a LUUP parking lot.
The staff were very kind and polite.
However, the water in the communal bath and the unit bath in the room is too lukewarm, which is uncomfortable in the winter.

Overall it's OK, the only small regret is that the water in the water heater is not very hot.

Had a great stay! It is the charme of a cute hotel from the 80‘s and is super clean and has nice public bathrooms

Even though I was late because I had mistaken the check-out time, they allowed me to shower and all the staff were very kind.
