Eins.Inn Umeda Higashi in Osaka

Quaint Osaka hotel. The location is in a weird spot but sort of in between a lot of different things. Staff were very friendly and they have a cafe downstairs for breakfast. Short walk to Osaka castle and some really good local Izakayas nearby. They also offer some additional amenities at cost in the lobby. I was charged 1000¥ as a fee when checking in, I believe this has something to do with the upcoming changes Japan is making to tourism. Unfortunately my room was on the main road which was a bit noisy at night but nothing too crazy.

The location of the accommodation was a bit of a culture shock because the room was right next to the bed without a hallway, but overall it was fine.

The water came out well, the soundproofing was decent, and the location was good.
The price was reasonable, so I recommend it.

Everything is fine. The room is small but very clean and comfortable. The only drawback is that I live on the second floor. The room is facing the microwave and ice machine. People often come to get ice or use the microwave at any time of day and night. The swishing sound of ice and the dinging sound of the microwave can be heard clearly even through the door. It is really not friendly to people who are sensitive to sleep. On the second night of stay, someone heated some kind of meat in the microwave. It was very fragrant. The fragrance went directly through the gap of the door into my room. The whole room was filled with the smell of meat... Later, I sprayed the deodorant in the room several times, and then went out to spray the corridor in the microwave area, and the smell of meat disappeared. In addition, why is the light under the eaves outside the second-floor window always on at night? Although there are curtains, the light can still penetrate through the gap of the curtains, and the whole room can be seen clearly without turning on the night light. There are too few varieties of breakfast. The staple food is either sandwiches or rice balls. Although it is very delicate and tastes good, I hope there will be more choices.

The front desk staff were friendly and the facilities were suitable for a solo stay. I was able to check in comfortably because there was a staff member who was studying Korean.

The first step in was greeted with amazing services. The room is very clean. Decent size for solo travellers. Lots of food places and convenient stores nearby. Even the laundromat is nearby too. The washroom is amazing!! Highly recommended for a stay. Oh yeah, you can borrow free manga books but they are in Japanese.

I'm glad I picked this hotel as my main base to do my day trips around Kansai!. Conveniently close to Umeda Station and the Osaka Metro. Additionally it was one of the most affordable hotel in the area with great service and very clean and maintained rooms.

The desk was really friendly and the room was clean, so it was a great stay. There was a station nearby and a mart, so the location was good. I think I'll stay there again next time.

The transportation is very convenient, and the center of Umeda, Osaka, is just a dozen minutes' walk away.
