Basic hotel if you’re purely looking for a more affordable one around dontobori area. Approx 15 min walk.

Curtains are not those black-out kind once the sun comes up (around 5am during summer), light sleepers WILL get wokened up. Advised to wear eye mask to sleep instead coz this was so disruptive.

Daily replacement of towels & clearing trash = free. Cleaning & replacement of bedsheets = 2000 yen. Got to hand over key in the morning for any of these “housekeeper service” and remember not to throw the paper they give you as you’ll need that to redeem your key. The concierge didn’t tell me that in the morning, I almost threw that paper away as it’s so unserious.

Breakfast is basic has mini salad corner, some fried finger food, egg, noodles, miso, waffle corner.

Spacious room and relatively clean for Japan. But won’t be back. Counter staff are not really friendly. You write reviews for late check out or free drink. Maybe that explains why the overwhelming number of 5 stars.

No complimentary daily bottled water.

Great venue to stay, central to everything we’re wanted to see. Close to shopping and restaurants, room was larger than we have experienced in Japan plus it had a washing machine and small cooking facilities. We did our washing last night so C we can take home clean clothes and pack them away. Highly recommend.

Room was decent, although stains could be seen here and there, however we were appealed by the check-in procedure. While it was told us at first check-in was only possible from 3pm onward, we could actually enter before if we would follow them on Instagram and leave them a review on Google (before even entering the hotel??). While I did that reluctantly, then the employee at the front desk told me that I my parents had to do it was well (they have no social media??) to which we refused. Then they told us that in that case check-in was possible from 2pm onward. However if we paid 1500 yen right away, we could check-in immediately?? So to summarize, room was ready from the start, however in order to check-in immediately we had to pass by social media review and/or pay fee in advance. This is completely dishonest, and let me believe the 4,8 stars on Maps are not very well deserved and forced from this manoeuvre, especially since the standing of the hotel doesn't match at all. Would not recommend.

Stayed in a suite and it was so lovely! The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful. There are laundry facilities in our kitchen, as well as kitchen and SAUNA facilities. All were extremely easy to use. We absolutely loved the in room sauna too. Thanks for a pleasant stay!

The location is great. Five minute walk to the train station, two convenience stores on the block. Close to the major sights but quiet from street noise. The hotel has excellent facilities and the room was large for Japan. The comforter and pillows are the best on my travels in Asia. Mini fridge is key for longer stays if you want to keep juices or fruit handy. The washing machine was such a bonus, and the shower has a clothes drying setting which works amazingly! I would definitely stay here again.

Staff was super friendly, good breakfast. Bedrooms were okay but too small. Our bedroom was clean but there are areas at the hotel that could be a bit more clean (hall carpets, also smells a bit like humidity). It was overall a good stay. Thanks!

I'll start with the morning, which is the food. It's delicious and varied; in my experience, the main dishes are repeated every 3-4 days. The location is absolutely perfect, with all the shops within walking distance, including a family market nearby. The metro is 5-10 minutes away, as are any other services. The train station is about a 40-minute drive away. There's also a dispenser (coffee, tea, toothbrushes, etc.) on the ground floor near the elevator.
