Kanto region, Tokyo, 11-3 Kasumigaokamachi, Shinjuku City, Sindzyuku, 160-0013 Tokio, Yaponiya 🧭 Map
The value for money isn't great. The interior feels on par with a domestic Atour hotel, but it's nearly 2500 [currency]. Hotels in Tokyo are so expensive! During cherry blossom season, it was crowded. We even had to take a number to queue for breakfast, but we didn't wait long, only about 10 minutes. The only real advantage is its proximity to Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden.
Great location, very convenient to the National Stadium, and the surroundings are beautiful. The accommodation itself is quiet and comfortable, and I particularly loved the large balcony in the room.
A beautiful hotel! The rooms are a bit small, but they come with a large balcony offering amazing views. There's also a rooftop observation deck where I enjoyed a spectacular night view of Tokyo. If the weather is good, you can even see Mount Fuji in the morning. The location is excellent, and the service is top-notch. The front desk staff speak fluent English, and there were many Western guests. I...
I stayed at the Mitsui Garden Hotel specifically for a concert. The National Stadium is right across the street, and I could even see it from my balcony. Once the concert started, I could hear it clearly from my room. The hotel is conveniently located, with a subway station just a left turn outside the entrance. If you walk through the small garden next to the hotel, there's a Starbucks in the hospital...
I chose this hotel because it's directly opposite the New National Theatre, as I was here for a concert. The environment is lovely, and the location is super convenient. Plus, there's a hot spring! Every night after a day of shopping, I'd go soak in the onsen to relax and relieve my fatigue.
I chose this hotel for my trip to see TWICE's concert at the New National Stadium, and it was incredibly convenient, just across the road from the venue. The hotel staff were skilled and had excellent attitudes, especially the front desk receptionist who assisted with check-in. The attached photo shows the hotel's main entrance with the stadium visible in the distance, for your reference.

The room was very clean, staff was great and there were no problems with service, but the room was really warm all the time despite the heater not being on and it being December/January.
The staff were friendly and the place was clean.
I used trash and towels, put them in bags, and left them at the door the next day. They cleaned them up and brought new ones, which was incredibly convenient.
The room was a little small, but it was cozy and nice.
The location was also better than I expected, making it incredibly convenient!
This was my second time staying at this hotel, and the reception staff were very friendly. I chose this hotel because it's a 3-minute walk from Machida Station. The Kyushu cuisine restaurant on the first floor also received high marks. I think I'll stay here again.
Simple, clean, convenient hotel near to Machida Station. Beautiful Japanese breakfast. No reason to stay anywhere else when visiting Machida.
Bit old
Convenient coz it is close to station
Breakfast provided from restaurant is good.

Kanto region, Tokyo, 2-18-7 Higashiueno, Tayto, 110-0015 Tokio, Yaponiya 🧭 Map
The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Uokachimachi and Ueno stations, with a shopping street and many restaurants nearby. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, including a self-service laundry room and a pantry. They even thoughtfully provided a luggage scale. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and even gave us small gifts. It's very convenient to take the Skyliner from the hotel...
The hotel was nice and precisely located near Ueno stations and Ueno Okachimaci stations. The only downfall is not the size but the hygienist of the room. Upon check in I found several hair (woman hair) on the bed.
We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The location is great, near to metro and JR station. Ameyoko market is just less than 5 minutes walk away. There are plenty restaurants to explore behind the hotel, and there’s AEON small grocery nearby too.
The hotel staffs are very helpful, they helped us arrange luggage transportation to the next hotel. Easy to communicate too :) will definitely come back
The hotel's location is pretty good, close to Ueno and other subway stations. However, the entrance is a bit hard to find; the red front door is automatic, and I didn't even realize you could just walk in. The room itself was decent, with all the basic amenities, and the hygiene was acceptable. The room rate is a bit high for autumn and winter.
I’m happy with everything! The staff was super nice, and the hotel is conveniently located near the train station, making it easy to access everywhere. There’s also a convenience store (kombini) nearby, which was really handy. Plus, there are plenty of halal food options around the hotel. The room had everything I needed such as an iron, hair dryer, and even a hair iron! Super convenient. The hotel...
Standard squeeze for Tokyo hotel room but there was a sign which tells me to tuck my luggage under the bed. Location is superb, 5 mins to Keisei Ueno station / JR Ueno station with luggage. Value for momey.

Kanto region, Tokyo, 1-6-2 Osaki, Shinagawa-ku 🧭 Map
The room was spacious and cleaned daily. The breakfast was a rich spread of both American and Japanese options. The location is super convenient; you can access Osaki Station directly from the lobby via a connecting walkway. Right outside the hotel, there's a Lawson, Burger King, a NewCity supermarket, and various dining spots. It's perfect for getting to Kamakura, Shibuya, and Ginza easily.
Stayed here again. It's an older hotel, decent and reliable, with breakfast included. There's a direct connection to the subway station right outside, which is super convenient. And the cleanliness is, as always with Japanese hotels, impeccable.
The room was clean and tidy, though the bathroom was a bit compact. The location is super convenient, right above Osaki Station. Breakfast was also quite good.
Stayed: 3–5 January 2026
The room was clean and comfortable for three persons. The hotel enjoys an excellent location next to Osaki Station, with direct access to Life Supermarket, a drugstore, Daiso, and various eateries, making it very convenient for travellers.
Breakfast was good overall. There was a moment of slight confusion when I was politely reminded regarding mobile phone use while speaking...
The hotel is practically right next to JR Osaki Station's exhibition hall, just a few minutes' walk away, making transportation incredibly convenient. You can directly reach Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Akihabara. I checked in on December 30th, right during the Japanese New Year holiday, so the room rate was exceptionally high, nearly 2000. I saw the weekday prices, and they offer great value for money....
Located just outside Osaki station with a few train lines, the primaryYamanote line serves most tourist well as it plies key tourist locations such as shibuya and shinjuku. Lawsons is about 50 steps away from the hotel entrance. There's also a mall, New Ohsaki city, there's supermarket and many food options across different price range.

Beautiful environment, comfortable and spacious stay.
Convenient stop at NRT for a quick sleep before heading to your final destination. Very good breakfast, some rooms very small, ask for a room facing the airport, those rooms are significantly bigger. Bathtub a plus. Onsite gym, scale to weigh luggage, convenience shop for snacks, comfortable lobby, overall not bad for the price point. I stop there regularly when flying from China to california.
The hotel room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We stayed as a group of four and were provided with queen-size beds and twin single, which were very comfortable. T bathrooms, which was very convenient for us. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel. 👍
Have shuttles bus from airport narita
Decent, but an older hotel with somewhat outdated facilities. However, being a member and getting a late check-out until 2 PM is very convenient. They also offer a shuttle to the airport and a free shuttle to the shopping mall. The shuttle has pick-up points at both T1 and T2, which is where most hotels stop anyway.
The hotel's location was incredibly convenient for our departure. The room was spacious, bright, and clean, with no strange odors. It was quiet and comfortable – I was very satisfied. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive, which was truly heartwarming.
There's a shuttle bus service to and from the airport, which was super convenient since my flight was delayed by over 10 hours. That's why I picked the Crowne Plaza. It was reasonably priced and the room was quite spacious compared to other hotels.

Kanto region, Tokyo, Nihonbashi Hongokucho 4-4-1, Chuo Ward 🧭 Map
The hotel is right next to the subway line, but the soundproofing and blackout curtains are excellent.
The hotel's location is excellent, with many subway lines nearby, making it super convenient for getting around. The breakfast was decent. The surrounding Muromachi district is fantastic, perfect for a leisurely stroll and exploring.
Hotel was located about 600m from Tokyo Station and was to the left of the Central exit. Room was a bit small and the bathroom especially the shower area in the long bath was at a height and quite unsafe when leaving it especially for seniors like me and have to be very careful cause there are no support bars. Breakfast was simple. Not value for money as it is S$245 for a night's stay.
Extremely satisfied, and the breakfast was delicious! If I get the chance to visit Tokyo again, I'll definitely stay at this hotel. For cherry blossom viewing in Tokyo, I highly recommend Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden; it has a wide variety of cherry trees and you can't go wrong.
The room is not large, and it's very close to the tram line. If you're sensitive to noise or suffer from neurasthenia, you should seriously consider this. It's very close to Kanda Station, about a six or seven-minute walk to the South Exit, and about a ten-minute walk to Tokyo Station. Breakfast is 1500 JPY, which is acceptable.
The location is excellent, within walking distance to Tokyo Station, Kanda Station, Mitsukoshi, and Nihonbashi. The front desk service was great, and the luggage storage was very convenient – we could store our bags before check-in and after check-out, which made our travels much easier. There's also a convenience store right across the street, perfect for grabbing water and snacks.

The hotel is good; I like the Apa chain. There are several other larger hotels of the same chain nearby. The rooms are small, and ours wasn't very comfortable. There was a shelf by the headboard that kept bumping your head, and the window closed in such a way that you'd bump into the corners at night. They could have just installed curtains. Overall, it's clean and everything's fine.
It was a wonderful experience. We look forward to returning.
I have stayed at APA Hotels many times, but this hotel had a hot spring on the upper floor, so I was able to relax in the hot spring. If I were to be greedy, I would have liked the bathtub to be a little larger, but in the city center, this layout is probably the best they can do. I could sense the ingenious design intent. I would definitely consider this hotel as a hotel to stay at next time.
The hotel was close to the subway exit and there were restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so it was very convenient. The large public bath was on the top floor and had a great view.
Good service staff very nice 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭
When I went to Japan near Asakusa, I often stayed at APA. The rooms were small, but I got used to it. It was clean and the location was good! I think it would be good for those who are traveling once to visit.

The hotel is conveniently located near a metro station and offers a shuttle bus service to Disneyland (though you need to book early as seats fill up quickly). The breakfast selection is excellent. Overall, it's very suitable for families.
Its very convenient location.
Opposite there is a donki.
Beside the hotel there is Daiso , uniqlo , GU and there are a few malls walking distance.
Mrt is just a ~ 5 min walk
There is a coin laundry nearby, you can get the map from the counter .
The hotel has been recently renovated, the service is excellent, and the dinner was also quite good. It's reasonably priced and in a great location!
The hotel was a good and comfortable place to stay, even though it was a bit squeezy to open up our luggages. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay, no matter how short it was. The staff were extremely helpful. The view from our room was pretty nice.
Great location and plenty of food, shops and convenience stalls everywhere. The rooms are a very good size and just seeing the SkyTree from our room every evening is really amazing. The hotel is old but very clean. However, you can clearly hear noises from the rooms next door. For some strange reason, there was an incessant banging every morning beginning at 6.45am for about 30 minutes, which was impossible...
The room was clean and tidy, and the location was excellent. The Tokyo Skytree is right across from the hotel's entrance. We had a really positive experience.
Very clean and the staff are very polite & friendly.
The facilities are a bit old, clearly showing their age. However, you can tell that it was once a luxurious hotel. The hygiene and service are both good, and the location is quiet.
Suitable for budget accommodation. The bed is comfortable. The room is clean, I liked the parquet floor. However, there are stains on the carpet in the corridors. The staff is friendly.
It's not far from the station, but it's not on the main road. You have to go up a small hill, which is not too troublesome. The small street view is also good. Noge-koji is also quite famous. I was upgraded to a room for free. The room is very large. The toilet is also very large. The hotel is like the one from 20 years ago. I quite like the hotels of that period.
The location is great! Both Hinodecho and Sakuragicho stations on the Keikyu Line are within 5 minutes!
Be prepared for the hills to the hotel 😇

The hotel is good. They provide electrical adapters and umbrellas for rainy weather. The breakfast is a bit sparse; it could be improved.
This is hands down my favorite hotel to stay at when I’m in Tokyo. The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk from the train station, which makes exploring the city so easy. I also love that there are plenty of great restaurants right in the neighborhood, so finding a good meal after a long day of sightseeing is never a problem. The rooms are clean and comfortable (exactly what you expect...
Definately one of the better APA hotels I've stayed at.
Rooms are typical APA style, aimed at single traveller with just the one suitcase to fit uner the bed, but they are nicer than most, being a touch bigger and nicer facilities.
There are fewer Tokyo hotels that include an onsen but this is one of the few that do, and it was amazing as well - both an indoor and outdoor onsen.
Luggage storage available...
Nice hotel with good service and an onsen. The rooms are quite small but ours had a great view which includes the national diet building (not in picture). If you are here because you want to be next to the diet building or the prime Minister's residence, this is the perfect hotel. However a lot of restaurants and convenience stores are much further away.
Everything was wonderful, the staff was wonderful! They helped with all our questions and allowed us to leave our luggage longer.
At check-in, we found a clean and cozy room, complete with clothes, welcome drinks, and various toiletries.
Highly recommend! A solid 10/10.

I am a fan of mitsui garden hotels in tokyo and the roppongi chain is the third mitsui’s for me following ginza and kyobashi chains. The staffs are super friendly & helpful and the location of mitsui roppongi hotel is amazing. You can walk to azabudai hills, midtown, mori tower and even tokyo tower. I would definitely stay again next time.
Good location, unfortunately did not get the room with Tokyo tower view. Guest service and facilities are great.
Great room with high floor and partial tokyo tower view as requested. Breakfast was alacarte and it was very nice. Had a very good stay here 👍🏻
This is a mid-sized hotel in the city center with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The lobby has a great design, but the room itself is tiny; aside from the two beds, there's barely any space to open luggage (we had to put ours in the hallway by the entrance). Unexpectedly, there are many Western tourists.
They were very helpful when I needed to store my luggage, and they even gave me directions to my destination, which was a huge help! I'd love to stay here again!
This is a typical chain business hotel. I usually stay elsewhere in Shinjuku, but it was fully booked. This hotel and my usual one are both about a 10-minute walk from the station. The room was clean and well-equipped, but the service at the counter was not impressive. They weren't as helpful or informative as they should have been when I had questions.
Cosy place with nice facilities. Staff were very friendly too
The stay overall was smooth. The room layout is somewhat unconventional, with several rooms featuring lowered ceiling beams that can feel restrictive in certain areas. This appears to be due to the building’s structural design and infrastructure placement, and while it may affect the sense of openness, the rooms remain functional and efficiently organised for short stays.

Great location, and the airport shuttle was super convenient! I'd definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Shinjuku. The service and cleanliness were also very good. Breakfast was just okay, with a limited selection, but the facilities were comprehensive. Plus, there's a convenience store right downstairs.
It is my third time staying in this hotel. Excellent location and convenient to everywhere. However, I was not told that there is a construction site (demolishing an old building) right opposite to my room and it is extremely noisy every morning sharp at 9am. Unpacking all my stuff in the room, I have struggled if I should ask for changing the room. So disappointing to its service in this regard.
Right next to Shinjuku Station, it's super close to the subway, JR, and bus terminal. The hotel lobby is on the 20th floor, and you can access a pedestrian bridge from the 2nd floor to walk to Takashimaya or Harajuku Station. Honestly, it's incredibly convenient! I'd definitely stay here again.

I love this hotel!!! Can enjoy “Tokyo Tower” from Bathroom! Impressed by the brand of the hair dryer!! Everything is awesome !
The hotel's location is excellent, and transportation is very convenient. The decor and facilities are all new, and you can even see the Ginza night view. The hotel's cleanliness is also top-notch. The only minor drawback is that the room felt a bit too small; I think a hotel at this price point should offer more spacious rooms.
Really nice location. Few minutes away from 銀座.
Didn’t try their breakfast. But there are a lot of restaurants near by. Walking distance to 築地 as well .
Nice hotel, but very small room and no laundromat nearby. Their laundry service is super expensive.
This room size is just right for one person without luggage. I'm not sure what tier it falls into in Japan, but in China, it's probably on par with or slightly below a Hilton. I'd be willing to stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo. There's a Kyushu ramen place nearby that's quite good, but I wouldn't really recommend Yuzugumi (Oil Group).
The views of Ginza are nice. Not sure the service or amenities are up to the 5* standard though unfortunately! Good place to stay overall although could be better for a 5*

Kanto region, Yokohama, 5-chome-53 Chojamachi Naka Ward 🧭 Map
Super spacious. Easy to find. There is the elevator near by but have to walk across the street. There is the park near this hotel with beautiful sakura too. The room is big and clean. I wish to stay here again. The staff can speak english very well too.
The hotel's front desk is on the second floor, and there's a convenient store downstairs, which is really handy for buying things. The subway station is right outside, making it super easy to get around. It's also just a 20-minute walk to Chinatown. Just a heads up, you need to insert your key card for the power outlets in the room to work.
The front desk guy spoke Chinese, which was a nice surprise! Luggage storage and check-in were smooth and friendly. Self check-out was easy. The environment is great, much more comfortable than Tokyo or Osaka.
The hotel is a bit old, but the room and bed are very spacious, perfect for a pilgrimage for Yakuza fans. It's not located near the main attractions, but there's a subway station right downstairs, about 4-5 stops from Yokohama Station, and a taxi to Chinatown costs around 1000 JPY.
This place is kind of a hidden gem in Yokohama
Great location, right near train station, a nice park, plenty of food and drink options, rooms are priced right, decent sized, carpeted, fresh towels daily, it’s quiet and tucked away from the main street but close enough to walk to quickly enough
They have a buffet breakfast that looks great (haven’t tried yet)
Book it!
Highly recommended!
Edit on 2...
The hotel is located next to a subway station but in a very quiet part of town. It's a bit dated, but everything is functional. They gave me a room twice as large as the typical small room in Japan. Breakfast is average, but the restaurant is very spacious. I've stayed in several hotels of the same chain. This is is not the best. Staff a bit rigid.
