Pearl Hotel Ryogoku, Tokyo1 / 25Good price
7.7
Kanto region, Tokyo, 1-2-24 Yokoami, Sumida-ku 🧭 Map
The room isn't huge, but it's well-equipped. The price was quite reasonable, especially considering it was close to New Year's. The hotel is right across from the train station, making transportation super convenient. It's only one stop away from Akihabara, and even when I came back late at night, there were 24-hour chain restaurants nearby for food.
Everything was great, but it's a bit too close to the subway, and the 'morning call' (from the subway) was a fixed feature.
Close to Ryogoku station yellow line. Beside of Sumida river. Can see Tokyo sky tree from the hotel. Interiors are just normal. Good size and comfy enough. Recommends for travel who are looking for budget friendly and great location.
It's an older and very basic hotel. It's ok just to stay a night with a comfortable bed and a hot shower but don't expect for anything else extra. I can't even find a garbage can inside the room. Front counter service was excellent though. For what's available I think it's a little bit over priced. Another plus it's just right across a JR train station.
Location was good. Room was small and clean. No water or tea/coffee in the room. Aircon did not work and it was warm on my first night. Opening the window was not an option! The breakfast was ok. 2 bottles of water were left outside my door the next day!
Very close to the Ryogoku station! You can literally see the station once you get off the train. Nice place with sumo wrestling atmosphere!

Millennium Mitsui Garden Hotel Tokyo/Ginza, Tokyo1 / 30

Kanto region, Tokyo, 5-11-1 Ginza, Chuo-ku 🧭 Map
The room was great, small but perfectly formed. It was super convenient for everything – shopping, dining, and getting around on the subway. Everything was just so easy! I'll definitely be staying here again, haha, it was really good.
The location is fantastic, super convenient for shopping in Ginza, with a subway exit right outside the hotel. I noticed the hairdryer was a bit dirty while washing my hair, but a quick call to the front desk got it replaced very promptly. I recommend the yakiniku restaurant directly across the street from the hotel.
The front desk had staff who spoke Chinese, the room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was excellent; you could walk to the entire Ginza shopping district. There's a popular ramen place nearby that wasn't very good, but a Yakiniku restaurant called Jojoen (not the one on the Mitsukoshi building) was incredibly delicious. You won't have to worry about food or drinks staying here...
The location is superb, with an airport bus stop not far away, right in Ginza, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. Everything is within walking distance, which is why we chose to stay here on our last day.
It was okay. The carpet was a bit old, which surprised me. I'd stayed here 6 or 7 years ago, and I remembered it as soon as I walked into the lobby. The twin rooms are all street-facing. The location is just so-so; it's close to Mitsukoshi. I usually use Ginza Station, so Higashi-Ginza is a station I rarely use. You can get to the airport from downstairs, but there are only stairs, which would be a...
The location is really convenient. It's right by the Higashi-Ginza subway exit, with a direct elevator from Haneda Airport to exit A1. However, if you're heading back to Haneda, you have to use a different entrance, otherwise, it's all stairs. My luggage handle actually broke because of all the stairs! On our last day, the power went out from 12 PM onwards, which was a bit inconvenient. The breakfast...

The room was clean and the hot spring facilities were great. The ramen and popsicles in the evening were delicious. It's a shame the room rates are getting more expensive, so the value for money isn't as good anymore.
The room was really small, but it had everything we needed. The breakfast was good.
Great hotel, good location, excellent quality for three stars. The hot springs are worth it. Very good hot sauna almost 100°C I will stay in this hotel again when I travel to Kawasaki.
Dormy Inn corporation never disappoint with nice hot spring, evening ramen and morning breakfast. The only thing I would suggest is to Iron the pyjama or change out the older ones.
The hotel was away from station within 10 mins walk. Very convenient. The staffs are very friendly and polite. Rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. I love the massage chair a lot in the public area. Just 15 mins cycle can refreshing yourself especially after a long day walking. A lot of restaurants around the area. You can definitely find something good to eat. Highly recommended. Will definitely come...
The hotel is always very accommodating and very clean. The food and the outdoor onsen area is fantastic. It’s like being in an onsen in the middle of the coty!

Facilities: Very new, I really like the minimalist style. Hygiene: Very clean, the bathtub was very comfortable for a soak. Environment: The environment is excellent. I booked this place specifically for the Tokyo Tower view 🗼. The King Room with a view was exceptional. Service: The service was great, and the deposit was only 3,000 JPY.
The hotel has a great environment and an excellent location, making it convenient to get anywhere. The service is good, and the room is clean. It's definitely recommendable, and I'll stay here again next time.
Good location Nice customer service
This hotel has a great resort-like feel. All the staff are fluent in English (I barely saw any Asian staff at the front desk or in the restaurant). The breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety for an à la carte hotel. The valet parking, housekeeping, and front office restaurant service were all excellent. Highly recommend!
The lobby lounge has a fantastic ambiance, with a floor-to-ceiling window offering views of Tokyo Tower. I stayed there and had drinks in the lounge both nights. It was a really great experience, and I hope to visit again.
Excellent service, location, style, delicious breakfast with view on tokyo tower.

I stayed at this hotel during the Chinese New Year. It's conveniently located with a smooth, complimentary shuttle service to both DisneySea and Disneyland. Hotel: The concierge was very helpful in explaining how to book the airport shuttle. I apologize for forgetting his name. We booked a set dinner at the hotel restaurant for New Year's Eve, and it was excellent value for money with great taste...
Facilities: It's a new hotel, very clean, and the room is spacious. Hygiene: Very clean, both inside and out. Environment: The sea is right outside the window 🌊, and the sunset is absolutely stunning 🌇. Service: Excellent, no preferential treatment for foreigners at all.
The room is big and clean. We had a comfortable stay. Breakfast is good too. There are free bus services to Disney and to the train station. There are also free bus services to Tokyo downtown. Value for money 👍
It was ok, too expensive though. I got the family room, the room was big, but the bathroom especially the sink area was cramped, especially for how much the room cost. Small fridge but no freezer. Microwave all the way down in the lobby/foyer, that was annoying. There's a free shuttle bus to/from Shin-Uryasu metro, and also to Disneyland/sea. Its 10 min to the metro, but its about 25 min to Disneysea...
The hotel is good, clean, and very comfortable. It's just too far away. If you're not going to Disneyland, I wouldn't recommend staying here. Tokyo's public transport is too complicated, and we ended up taking a taxi.
It was amazing to have such a spacious room in Japan! The cleaning staff came every day to tidy up, and it was always spotless. Plus, there's a free shuttle to Disneyland and nearby malls, which is super convenient.

The room was small, but given the cheap price, it's pretty good for a city like Tokyo where space is at a premium. It's super convenient with a convenience store and a subway station right downstairs. Plus, breakfast is included!
Quite old but space is big enough. There is breakfast included with that price is generous.
Excellent, highly recommended! The service was very friendly, and the location is superb with easy access to transportation. There's a convenience store downstairs, and it's not far from various subway exits, making it super convenient for getting around.
There is a convenience floor and a JR entrance to (Bakurocho Station Exit 4) on the ground floor of the hotel.
Do take the staircase beside the hotel from the metro is stairs. You need to go to the A4 exit for the lift if you have heavy luggage. Generally good. 7 eleven beside. Got some restaurants open till 11. There is a supermarket opposite Denny with good prices for water. If you are there on Sunday there is a Sunday market near the hotel.
Good and very comfort room. The hotel can storage your luggages on the first floor.

Venue was nice, location wise is kind of outskirt of shinjuku, but acceptable, due to away from noisiness! However, the service was not to enjoyable, at times, i felt disrespected but the services.
The rooftop hot spring is great.
10-15 mins walk from Shinjuku train station. An open onsen and indoor onsen on top floor. Quite popular among tourist.
Overall experience is good although the room is slightly small for 2 persons. About less than 10mins walk to Shinjuku town area. The onsen is amazing with the entire Shinjuku view. Highly recommended.
Great traditional Japanese hotel with a spa like feel. Everything about this hotel is awesome! They cleaned our room everyday and replenished the towels too. Room was a good size for a Ryokan style hotel and the 18th floor onsen is beautiful with a great view over the city. Highly recommend!

Location in best just above Yokohama station. Lots of eating options in the station and yodabashi shopping. Near by walking to outdoor shopping street with many 24 hrs dining Room is huge for Japan hotel standards.
Overall, the service was great, and the location is super convenient – definitely worth staying here! The breakfast selection, while not as extensive as in China, was still very good. Highly recommended!
The room was clean and tidy, and the hotel staff were very friendly and attentive. Plus, the location is super convenient. I'd definitely come back again.
The hygiene was good, and the location was very convenient, with easy subway access to Tokyo. The trade-off is that there's a lot of foot traffic nearby and many exits, so it takes a bit of getting used to when you first arrive. Overall, I recommend it.
This is a great, old-school hotel. The water pressure in the shower is fantastic, really washes away the day's fatigue.
The hotel's location is incredibly convenient! The subway takes you directly into the hotel and the mall, making shopping a breeze. Getting to Yokohama Station is super easy with all the connections. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Great location, very close to Hibiya metro lines, lots of food and shopping options nearby.
We enjoyed our stay ar Remm Hibiya very much. The staffs were very friendly and could communicate in English well. The breakfast was also very good with a nice variety...
Great location. Lots of dining and shopping options. Hotel is new. Rooms are well equipped. Not large but very comfortable. The large model railway in the hotel lobby is brilliant. Tokyo city complete with Shinkansens and multiple other trains!
This is my second stay at Hotel Metropolitan Marunochi. Great location literally steps from Tokyo Station, great central location for all Tokyo sights and restaurants at the station and via the extensive rail network. Rooms are clean, beds very comfortable and quiet with good soundproofing.
I chose Marunouchi because I had to catch an early Shinkansen the next morning. Being right by the subway and Shinkansen entrance was a huge time-saver! It's also super convenient for shopping and dining within walking distance. The room, while small, was incredibly clean, and the amenity kit even included a cleanser and skincare set. The front desk staff were also very nice.
I really like this hotel's location, ambiance, and style. This is my second time staying here, and although I encountered a minor issue, thankfully Ctrip helped resolve it. The hotel is conveniently located right at the Tokyo Station entrance. The facilities are excellent, the amenities are high-end, and the view is great. I love it!
Have stayed a couple of times now and each time staff are lovely and very helpful with any requests. Location is convenient for taking Shinkansen but harder for some of the local subways as Tokyo station can be a bit of a maze. Rooms are a good size with a nice sized bathroom and bath too! I love the amenities offered inside the room too.

Even though it's an older hotel, the room decor is very bright and modern. Aside from the bathroom, which shows its age and isn't very comfortable, the rest of the room feels like a new hotel. The room was spacious with a beautiful sea view. The kids loved watching the containers being loaded and unloaded. The service was professional, and the breakfast was good, especially the Udon noodles, which I highly recommend. I would consider staying here again.
First time in Japan, and I booked the hotel myself – it was a fantastic experience! Firstly, the location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around. Secondly, the hotel service is impeccable. They were always ready to help with any questions I had. When I had an issue with directions, a front desk staff member actually walked me there herself. Stayed one night and liked it so much that I'm planning to return to this hotel tonight after visiting Kamakura. The room is spacious and the transportation is convenient. Traveling with my son, this was a very satisfying stay in Tokyo. I also stayed one night at the Washington hotel nearby, which has A and B buildings. We had unagi (grilled eel) at a restaurant next door; they only serve 10 portions...
The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Shinjuku Station's underground passage. On the first day, I couldn't find the passage, but walking along the main road from the South Exit works just as well, and it was a pleasant walk. The room was clean and not too small, which I was happy with.
Whenever we go to Japan Tokyo we always stay at Washington shinjuku hotel always a pleasant stay and the staff is nice. Japan rooms are typically small so manage expectations but for cleanliness and accessibility to a lot of places with a lot of restaurants at the hotel itself
Choose this hotel if u r taking airport limo bus, it’s just located outside of the hotel. But it might takes walking distance 10 minutes+ to Shinjuku station. I stayed in Annex and it looks new
Strange odour in the room upon entering. Fortunately they provide an air purifier, air freshener spray and fan, but it still took about 2 days to rid the smell. The room is small, barely enough for putting your luggage and walking space. Room is just basic, so don't expect too much. But location is good, located on one of the stops for airport shuttle. And tube station is walking distance
For a business traveller, this place is convenient.  There’s Japan Limosine Bus stop right in front of this hotel.  Within the building, there are also many restaurants around.
