Moxy Tokyo Kinshicho in Tokyo

This is my second stay at the Moxy Tokyo Kinshicho, and I continue to be impressed. The location is compact yet very convenient, with easy access to many restaurants and shopping areas. The hotel itself sits slightly elevated, offering a nice atmosphere.

Although the rooms are on the compact side, they’re actually quite spacious compared to many business hotels in Tokyo. The rates are also very reasonable, especially when compared with major brand hotels.

I highly recommend this hotel for travelers looking for a comfortable and stylish place to stay. It’s also conveniently located—just a short express train ride to Ueno and easy access to Oshiage (Tokyo Skytree area). Getting to either Narita or Haneda Airport is simple and affordable (around ¥1,500 to Narita).

The surrounding streets are wide and pleasant for walking or jogging. In the mornings, I enjoy running from the hotel to the Skytree—it’s a great route!

Great location with plenty of food options nearby. You can even order an Asahi as soon as you sit down after checking in.

It's pretty good, quite comparable to what you'd expect back home. The only minor issue is that it can get a bit noisy at night, as groups often gather outside the convenience store on the ground floor to drink and make a racket. Apart from that, everything else was perfectly fine.

GOOD ・ At first, I thought the atmosphere was very lively when I entered the hotel, but the entire lobby (hall) was more calm than I expected and it was easy to spend time. ・ The food in the lobby was generally delicious and reasonably priced. ・ The staff was very nice and helpful (they were much better than the luxury hotels in the Marriott series). ・ The room was compact but simple and clean. Things to be concerned about ・ Since the place is near the bar, I could hear loud voices of the townspeople even at midnight.

Others said that the city center was noisy, but I didn't feel it at all. I had earplugs from the front desk, but I didn't use them. From Kinshicho station, go straight ahead along the road on the right side of Marui, and it will be on your left, and you will see it right away. There is a mini-stop ahead, and next to it is a 7-Eleven. There is a shop on the way called Kameido Gyoza, and it seems to be famous. I think I will get it next time. The staff is friendly and helpful. I had a beer at TICKET, a welcome drink, and was pleasantly surprised by the mug, which is about 555 ml. I made Japanese food for breakfast. You can sprinkle natto and sprinkles freely. It was very voluminous and delicious. It was very nice that the hotel as a whole was in pop art style. I want to go again.

It's OK. It's just in the alley, surrounded by some bars and nightclubs, and there are unknown people picking up and dropping off customers in groups of three or four on the street, which makes it a bit uneasy at night.

Better than expected, many foreigners

The room is clean and tidy, but the quilt cover is two pieces, without zipper or rope, the quilt came out while I was sleeping
