Checking into Karaksa Hotel Premier Tokyo Ginza, I was immediately greeted by Ms. Wang's warm, welcoming smile. Her thoughtful attention made my travel fatigue disappear instantly. Upon entering the room, the large floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking views day and night. As dusk fell, the sparkling city lights cascaded like a river of stars, a truly mesmerizing sight. By day, the expansive cityscape stretched out to the horizon, magnificent and awe-inspiring. My stay was made exceptionally amazing and unforgettable by her warmth and the incredible panorama from the window.

Whenever I visit Tokyo, I almost always choose this hotel. It's right in Ginza, which makes shopping and dining incredibly convenient. Plus, the snacks on the second floor are excellent. I always have a very enjoyable and satisfying stay.

Our whole family really loved this hotel. The location is excellent, with a Don Quijote, two FamilyMarts, and a Matsumoto Kiyoshi just across the street. It's very close to Shimbashi subway station, and across the road is Hakuhinkan Toy Park, which the kids absolutely adored. You can walk to Ginza main street, Ginza Six, Matsuya, Mitsukoshi department store, and many other shopping spots. Tsukiji Market is also within walking distance, which is incredibly convenient.

The cleanliness was great; it was very tidy.

They have staff who speak Chinese, which was a nice bonus.

What truly impressed us was the complimentary soft drinks and snacks, which were all-you-can-eat. The food in the lobby was also free, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything.

This room in Tokyo was quite spacious, especially the bathroom, which I really liked. The hotel is located at the edge of Ginza, relatively close to Ginza Six, but it's still a 6-7 minute walk. So, if you've done some shopping and are carrying heavy bags, going back to the hotel to drop them off can be quite tiring, haha!

It's not very close to Ginza Station, but it's nearer to Shimbashi Station, about a 5-6 minute walk. It's manageable even with luggage; just find the right exit with an elevator for your train line.

The breakfast didn't suit my Guangdong palate; I didn't find it very tasty. However, there's a small area at the front desk that offers complimentary desserts, alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, and coffee to guests, which is a fantastic perk!

The location is fantastic. There's a Family Mart and a Don Quijote just around the corner downstairs. It's right in Ginza 8-chome, and Shimbashi Station is only a few minutes' walk away, making it very convenient to get to Shinjuku. Haneda Airport is also about a 30-minute drive. I recommend skipping the hotel breakfast; it's delivered to your room, and the Japanese style might not suit everyone's taste. You're better off eating out. The free minibar downstairs is a great touch, and the service was excellent. The room is a bit small, but you can still lay a 30-inch suitcase flat. Cleanliness is decent. It's perfect for business travelers and couples, but not ideal if you're traveling with kids.

I’m writing this review immediately after checking in because I want to warn people away from this Ginza hotel as soon as possible. Previously, after my last stay, I actually highly recommended this hotel on platforms like 'Xiaohongshu', and my posts typically got over 50,000 views. If you searched for this hotel, my notes would usually be among the top results. First off, I’m not a shill or a marketer; I genuinely reviewed and recommended it based on my actual experiences. That's why I booked a two-night stay again this time. I’ve pretty much stayed at all the hotels in the core Ginza area, and I returned to this one based on my previous positive experience. However, the contrast was huge: the room facilities are worse and much older than last year, the bedding and mattress were very dirty (the duvet cover was pulled back, revealing dirt inside), the check-in staff were unhelpful and dismissive of questions, and issues reported were not resolved promptly. Every year, I stay at various hotels worldwide, and 5-star or even higher-grade hotels are my preference. I believe high-quality service is what everyone seeks. In the core Ginza area, this hotel's price is comparable to any other, but its only advantage is its proximity to Ginza. Otherwise, there’s nothing special: the small road leading to the hotel entrance is dark and hard to find, the hotel door is so small you can barely see it, the front desk is just a few tables with almost no view, and all rooms face an elevated highway, offering no view whatsoever—you can’t even see Tokyo Tower (whereas many nearby hotels offer views of it). Yet, this hotel is more expensive than other hotels with views, even pricier than some 5-star hotels, while its environment and service are worse than a budget inn. During peak season, it’s 3500+ a night (without breakfast), and in the off-season, rooms are 2000+ (without breakfast). With breakfast, it’s even more expensive (3000 off-season, 4000 peak season). The rooms are tiny; basic rooms don't even have a wardrobe for clothes, and the service is poor. The front desk on the second floor is cramped and worse than a budget inn. What gives you the confidence to offer such low-end service? If the environment and service matched the price, I’d have no complaints. But you’re selling 'pre-cooked meals' at 5-star prices, which is utterly unreasonable. There are countless better hotels of comparable quality in Ginza. You are truly far behind. At the very least, your management and service have deteriorated, while prices have increased! After this, I will never stay here again. I’m changing from a recommender to a dissuader; I hope everyone avoids this hotel. Why spend the same money when you can choose one of the many better hotels nearby? You can also see the attached pictures; even as an official Ctrip representative communicating with the hotel, I felt the hotel was incredibly unresponsive! So, for an ordinary guest, the hotel's service attitude speaks for itself. I’m mainly writing this to help people visiting Ginza avoid this hotel. I guarantee, as a top-tier Ctrip member, there are no false descriptions in my review. I hope Ctrip officially displays and objectively publishes my review as a reference for future visitors to Ginza choosing a hotel. I'd also like to express my appreciation for the care and service of the Ctrip housekeeper, who upheld a highly responsible spirit of prioritizing customer interests and provided quick service efficiency. No matter where you are or what difficulties you encounter, Ctrip is always trustworthy!

Stumbled upon this hotel during my Tokyo trip in July, and I can't recommend it enough! The hotel is conveniently located very close to the Ginza shopping district, just a 20-minute walk away. Even if it rains, a taxi ride to Ginza costs less than 50 RMB. Right at the hotel's corner, there's a convenience store and a super well-stocked Don Quijote, making everything incredibly convenient. The key highlight is the room size; it's quite generous and comfortably spacious for two people. The rooms were impeccably clean and tidy, boasting a smart, functional layout with a separate toilet and bathroom, plus a capsule coffee machine. What's more, the 2nd-floor lobby offers complimentary, all-day self-service refreshments, including tea, coffee, juice, snacks, yogurt, and nuts. Compared to other hotels of its type, the value for money here is truly exceptional.

Getting around was incredibly convenient, and the hotel's ambiance was fantastic. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room felt quite spacious, and a major highlight was the daily breakfast delivered right to our door at our preferred time. The 24-hour beverage bar was a huge hit with the kids! This will definitely be our top choice for our next visit to Tokyo.
