Very clean and comfortable. Excellent value for the price and location. I appreciated that it was women-only, it felt calm and safe inside. They provide fresh towels and pajamas every day as well as plenty of helpful amenities including body scrubbers, toothbrushes, earplugs, etc. You'll even get a floor mat to use in the shower.
Cons: the capsule room was warmer than I'd like - I'm not sensitive to heat but it would be too hot for many others. The shower room was also very hot and steamy most of the time. However, there were no signs of the grime or mildew that usually come with so much humidity, and the showers themselves were quite clean.
Lockers are tall and skinny; I had no problems but if you bring a large bag be sure you have a way to store items outside your bag in the locker. There is ample storage for large luggage near the reception area.

I stayed twice at the Akihabara Bay Hotel: the first time for a 7-night stay, then for a 3-night stay.
It’s a simple but efficient capsule hotel. Five floors of capsules, with toilets and lockers on each floor, a lounge on the basement level, and the showers and washing machines on the ground floor.
The hostesses are welcoming and kind without being intrusive. Some of them don’t speak English, but using a translator is enough if you don’t speak Japanese.
The 24/7 front desk gives the hotel a feeling of safety, and the location is great: close to Akihabara Station and the nice neighborhood around it, with convenience stores just a few steps away.
However, I found the lockers too small, and people with large suitcases leave them at the front desk, which makes the reception area almost impossible to get through. Also, since the capsules only close with curtains, you have to hope you don’t end up with noisy “roommates.” The lounge is also a bit small, so it fills up quickly.
Overall, the hotel left me with a good impression for the price, but I would recommend a regular hotel for those who have a lot of luggage or are easily bothered by noise.

I stayed here for 2 nights as a solo-traveler.
Overall: safe, female-only, decent price, good location (close to station).
BED
My height is 5 feet and the capsule bed fits very comfortably for me. If you are in the top bunk, the ladder can be a bit awkward to use and climb into bed if you are not athletic so older or less flexible folks be mindful. Light and plug socket available.
LAUNDRY
Laundry washer is 300 yen and dryer is 100 yen for 30 minutes and located in the bathroom iirc.
BATH
Toilets and showers were clean with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided. Sinks can get a bit busy during peak times but everyone is generally efficient and mindful - there is face and hand lotion available in addition to hair dryers and tissues.
I saw that a bath was available for an additional price but did not use it.
MISC
I didn't connect to the wifi and my Ubigi E-sim was a bit shoddy here and there inside the building. I think if you use the wifi you'll probably be fine.
I did not note any weird smells, everything smelled clean, especially for sleeping in essentially the same large room with a bunch of female strangers.
Lockers are the tall narrow type so most people left their over-sized luggage either downstairs with reception or at the hallway (with mirrors and a shelf) before the sleeping room. I was able to cram my 35L backpack into the locker.
Reception was friendly and very helpful.
LOCATION
Close to the station (very convenient). Close to Mogra & Akihabara IV music venues (walking distance) if you have late night music events that go past the last train.

Great value for money !
Easy 5 min walk to Akihabara station, loads of amenities, most sweetest and friendly staff which was a highlight for me, as well as a daily pj & towel change. Would definitely recommend, especially as a solo female traveller it made my trip very smooth sailing (just be aware that you will have to leave the capsule pods between 10-4 for cleaning hours but still accessible to the lounge and lockers). Thank you for a wonderful stay😊

Lovely little hotel with great amenities and facilities provided for women!
The capsules themselves weren't an issue in terms of comfort, however, some mornings you'd be woken up by surrounding noise from the other capsules, but as it's shared accommodation, noise is inevitable, so this was expected. Locker storage for luggage is quite small, but you can leave your luggage at reception, and there is always someone behind the desk, so you can leave it there comfortably.
The staff were the highlight for me! They were accommodating, patient, and helpful. I did have to use a translation app when talking to some of the workers, which was not an issue and was expected - you’re in Japan, after all, so of course English isn't spoken by everyone - a translation app does come in handy! It is also worth mentioning that the staff managed to find an item of precious clothing that I had lost, which left me worried. I had asked reception the night before if they had seen it, and the next morning, they had it sealed in a bag at reception! 🥳
Finally, a 7/11 is just across the road, alongside Akihabara station which is a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
Overall, I am very pleased with my stay! If you’re a woman after cheap accommodation with great ammenities, then I recommend!

Helpful staff and clean facilities. Very good for solo travellers. Good location

Great capsule hotel located very close to Akihabara Station. Felt really safe and comfortable, the amenities were wonderful and I felt relaxed and refreshed every day. Beds were comfy and everyone was respectful of each other. Second time staying here and definitely would stay again if I'm in the area!

Overall nice, but cleaned only once a day, so especially the showers get nasty. Also, even though you have to take shoes off, the carpets are dirty.
Location is super convenient.
The beds are a bit short if you are tall, but the space is enough.

I think this is a great hotel for the price point. I had a carry-on suitcase with me that fit just fine in the lockers provided (though some guests with larger checked bags had to store them in the hallway). Everyone was considerate and quiet, and I appreciated that the doors open and close very quietly. It was a bit of a hassle to get to my capsule on the second level, but the capsule itself was spacious and I could sit up without bumping my head on the wall. Overall, it was nice for the two nights that I stayed there and it was conveniently located very close to the station. I would recommend bringing your own toothbrush, though, as the toothbrushes provided had very hard bristles that made my gums bleed.

It was great, although it’s a capsule hotel but comfortable enough to stay.
Location is great, 6mins from Akihabara by foot, no hills.

The entrance as if you were in a cafe!
The inside of the room is also clean, and it's calming for mysophobia. Thank you ~.
There is a washing machine with a dryer on the 2nd floor, so I didn't have any trouble washing.
There are many washing machines, so there was no waiting for washing!
Also, since it is close to Yodobashi Camera, there are various dinners if you go to Yodobashi Camera, so if you get lost for dinner, please go because it is close to Yodobashi.
Also, there was Yamato Takkyubin next to the hotel, so it was convenient to send it to my house immediately after shopping in Akihabara!
It was good that the toilet, bed and bath were stylish in the room!
The best thing about the bath is that the drainage ditch has a structure that never clogs the hair, the slope is slanted, and the drainage is good. I thought it was a bath that I was particular about! It's only a shower, but I'm glad that the huge shower was fashionable ☆
It may feel a little far from Akihabara to the hotel, so if you are heading to the hotel for the first time, it will be easier to understand if you head to the hotel from Yodobashi Camera! I think you can wear it immediately without getting lost.
I'm not sure because I only stayed at a few hotels in Akihabara, but I like this hotel because it's clean, so I stay here every time.
When I went to the latter half of November, I felt like I wouldn't change the towels unless I told the employees about the measures against corona, so it was a pain! Other hotels just changed the towels without saying anything, so I think it's better to do it! I think there are a lot of shy people like me who can't say what they think, so if you want to increase the number of customers, you should imitate other hotels ✳︎

The rooms and lobby are very beautiful!
Also, it is very good that there is a shower room and it is not a unit bath, and the time and price are very good, so I use it for remote work several times for day use.
However, it is a terrible room where you can not connect to the Internet with Wi-Fi and you can not use the telephone to the front desk only in the room where you were guided, so I think that you would normally guide to another room, but you can not do it.
I was guided to another room with Wi-Fi, but it was very inconvenient because I couldn't use the function to share the screen of my smartphone on the TV.
I went there because I wanted to work, but I couldn't connect to the internet, so I was in a lot of trouble. .. .. .. It was too troublesome to have to go to the lobby one by one because I couldn't connect to the front desk.
I couldn't figure out why he wouldn't do it when he changed the room ...
Also, I was a little worried about how cleaning was done because the crispy contact lenses had fallen on the floor. When I stepped on it, it was crisp and the worst ...

The room is in good condition. As you can see in the hotel's introductory photo, the bed is set up in a tatami-style small rise, and the suitcase can be stored underneath, so you don't have to worry about the small size of the room.
Bath towels and pajamas should be fluffy and well-maintained.
However, since it was a one-time cleaning due to corona measures during my one-week stay, would it be okay if I had a one-week discount plan? I thought.
All the staff were very friendly, and the coffee, which was all-you-can-drink for guests only, was properly drawn from beans and enjoyed every day.
If there are not so many guests (October 2021), it was good for me to be able to work slowly even in the cafe space on the first floor.
It will probably be more lively when the tourists come back, so before that you might come to stay for coffee or work in a calm cafe space.

A stylish renovation hotel for young children.
[Comprehensive evaluation] Star ★ 3.5
Suitable for the price. However, the fact that you can brew coffee for free at the cafe is not very satisfying and you are very satisfied.
[Plan] Change from day use to accommodation. Use from 11:30 to 10:00 the next morning.
[Price] 2 people 1 room 6500 yen (1 person 3250 yen)
(Day use 2750 yen + additional accommodation 500 yen)
[Time] September 2021
★ You can get free coffee at the cafe.
★ The room design is compact. The futon-style mattress can be settled down a little.
★ Sunny.
★ Rain shower. The first person may be fun.
● It is ideal for young children in their 20s to stay cheaply and fashionably with couples and friends. Not suitable for consecutive nights.
● There are no toiletries for lotion or milky lotion, so please prepare them. By the way, there is no bathtub. Shampoo etc. is POLA.
I'm sorry!
・ The harmful effects of renovated properties that cannot be completely hidden in fashion.
The walls are really too thin (sorry only for hotels with a good concept). The sound of the corridor and the sound of the next room echo. There is a step around the water place.
・ Walk quietly from Akihabara.
It was a hotel where you could study and perform at such a low price. thank you very much!
