Hotel Gracery Shinjuku in Tokyo

This hotel is famous for Godzilla's appearance in Kabukicho. The reception is on the 8th floor, from where you can go out onto the terrace and see Godzilla up close! When the appointed time arrives, does Godzilla scream and steam come out of his mouth? Spit it out. The Terrace BONJOUR café, on the same floor as the reception, was temporarily closed due to the state of emergency. The living quarters are on the 9th through 30th floors, and I think the views are good even from below. The hotel rooms were very clean, and even in the small room, the bath and toilet were separate, which was very convenient. Especially since the bathtub is wide and comfortable. Seven is on the first floor of the hotel, and Lawson is right after the entrance, so it's very convenient, but since this is Kabukicho, there are a lot of young people here even late at night. I stopped at a convenience store at 8:00 PM and 12:00 PM on my way to check in, but there were plenty of people no matter the time. If you don't mind, I don't think there's a problem. The price is cheap, reasonable, and very beautiful, so I'll use it again ♪

The hotel's location is excellent, with direct bus access nearby. Downstairs, it's very lively at night with many restaurants. There are JR and subway stations close by, making transportation incredibly convenient.

Room size was big comparing other hotels in Tokyo.
Facilities were offered and the best thing is the shower.
Unfortunately, I dont like the way the make you to join their membership program.

The location is absolutely unbeatable. It's right in the heart of Shinjuku's Kabukicho, with all sorts of dining, entertainment, and shopping options available. It's a lively area! Plus, it's less than a ten-minute walk to Shinjuku Station East Exit, making transportation super convenient. Highly recommend!

Very convenient location with many shops, arcades, restaurants and entertainment venues around. 5-minute walk to subway station and 10-minute walk to JR station. Room was spacious and clean. Shower and bathtub big enough for taking care of a young child. Buffet breakfast was a nice addition worth paying extra for.

Great location. Right in the centre of entertainment and food district. 700 meters to Shinjuku subway station.

Overall the experience in staying in this hotel was great. The customer service was good. Anyhow if there is a gym room then it would even better 😅

Hotel Gracery Shinjuku was exactly as anticipated. We traveled with our 2-year-old daughter. Although it was overwhelming at first with the hoards of people, we settled in and got used to it. Our daughter LOVED being in the hustle and bustle and enjoyed her daily smoothie from 7-11 just downstairs. Hotel seemed to cater to mostly tourists.

The front desk was super helpful, and most of the staff we talked to spoke pretty good English. It made our stay smooth and enjoyable. They helped us retrieve our luggage, which initially they said they didn’t have. However, they were delivered 2-hours before we our check in. We used to the Airporter from Mitsui Garden Hotel Prana Tokyo Bay (Disney Area), which was so convenient. The front desk also helped us arrange a taxi for 4am pick-up. Taxi was prompt and made it to the Busta Shinjuku Expressway Bus Station in a timely manner (cost about $15) to ensure we made it tp Haneda Airport by 5:05am (cost $22 for 3 of us).

The room was spacious. We stayed on the 25th floor and we had a nice view. Room was clean, and it has great amenities (iron, hair dryer, pajamas, slippers, and body wash/shampoo/conditioners). They even gave our daughter a little welcome kit with a pair of slippers, toothbrush and sticker. She loves “sur-presents.” Only qualm about the room was a distinct odor in the toilet and shower area. We attributed it the drain, a bit musty. However, we were mostly out and about a majority of the day, so it was bearable.

Overall, it was a great stay in a prime location. For those with young children or kids, expect it to be a bit busy and action-packed at night. There are Toyoko kids right outside of the hotel, but again, they seem to mind their own business.
