The bathroom always smell like mold, I think it’s the curtains because they’re made of cloth. Every APA hotel I stayed in had that same smell in the bathroom. I really do like the large TV facing the bed, and the easy to use remote. They always have great movies and in English. Sometimes the price is a little too much, but if you book it far enough in advance, it won’t be.

First time ever staying at an APA Hotel and probably the last. Stayed here for 2 nights because of its location to Keikyu Kamata Station and Kamata Station and leaving for Haneda airport after that.

The exterior looks beautiful, but the building itself feels old. There is an atrium in the middle of the building which seems weird to me. It feels like it use to be an apartment block and now converted into a hotel.
When it rains it seems to wet all the carpets to the corridors as they are stained. The cold enters through the entrance door because of this atrium.
The window won't open.
The bed is quite soft but comfy.
Where is the pillow is low, and wafer thin, a little uncomfortable.
Don't even bother using the WiFi it wouldn't connect for me and when it did it was terrible. I ended up using my own data at lightning speed.

Overall, the room was large enough for two people, with TV, kettle, fridge, hairdryer etc. It's somewhere to sleep really only.

I've stay at many other hotels for less cost and more modern style rooms with selections of amenities for your choosing.

APA Hotel Kamata is my first hotel stay in Japan since I came to Japan in April 2022. I stayed here for a total of 8 days due to coronavirus restrictions. However, the hotel is super luxurious. Fresh towels, nightwear provided daily. Even Yukata i guess. I wore a Yukata for the first time at an APA hotel. I felt so happy after wearing yukata. It was a really great hotel. Another good thing was that our Japanese HR personnel arranged the stay for 1,000 yen concession fee. However, the actual price in April 2022 is 6000 yen. they were very kind. I highly recommended APA hotel.

It is located between Keikyu Kamata Station and Kamata Station. Clean business hotel and typical standard size. The bed was too soft for me and the pillow is very thin so i need to ask another pillow.

Good location, lots of bars and restaurant are around . The hotel has a nice craftbeer bar on the ground floor. They serve breakfast too. spic and span room e
with full amenities and hair dryer, kettle. You can use a micro wave, washingachine on 2nd floor.

I plan to stay there 14days, but after 8days I saw there is bedbug, so I change my room but the other room was the same bedbug, dirty next to the fridge and under the bed.I stay there only 10 days because it was a Japanese quaranten.
The stuff is kind.
The room is dirty and have a lot of bug.
Just the stuff save this hotel from the one star!!

Many hundreds of rooms had the handle installed on the wrong side of the window so you can't open your window if your room becomes humid and stuffy. Very few rooms have the handle installed on the inside. The handles are easily noticeable on the outside of the building from the street.
