Shinagawa Prince Hotel in Tokyo

I booked a room with a view of Tokyo Tower, and it was such a great deal! The night view alone was worth a million dollars, and I can't believe it was only a 4-star hotel. 😂 The facilities here are also excellent. There's a convenience store right downstairs, and the first and second floors have great shops perfect for picking up souvenirs. The hotel's location is also fantastic; it's less than a three-minute walk from Shinagawa Station, and there are even signs along the way. Three-star price, four-star amenities, and a five-star night view – I'll definitely be back!

Great views, especially of the Tokyo Tower. The hotel's location is super convenient, just across the street from the Yamanote Line and Keikyu Line, making it easy to get downtown or to the airport. There aren't any convenience stores right nearby, but there's a supermarket a short walk away. Most of the room facilities are quite old, and the twin beds can't be pushed together. It's also a bit tricky to open two 24-inch suitcases at the same time. Service was good, though.

Fantastic location, right outside Shinagawa Station's central exit. I stayed in room 2768, and on a clear day, you can even see Mount Fuji. If you're a fan of yakiniku, there's a Jojoen restaurant conveniently located in the annex building.

It was my first time to stay in there. It was amazing location, service and the view!!

I definitely recommend and will definitely back

This is an established brand hotel with excellent transport links. It's about an hour's ride on the Narita Express from Narita Airport, and then just a few minutes' walk from the West Exit. While Shinagawa Station and the surrounding areas are under construction, the streets are clean and dust-free. Although the hotel itself is a bit older, the facilities are well-maintained and very clean.

This hotel is my go-to whenever I visit Tokyo. I've been staying here for over 20 years! The location is fantastic, it offers great value for money, and there are tons of restaurants in the vicinity.

The views are fantastic, and the service is excellent. You can see Mount Fuji, and there's a convenient store on the second floor, which is really handy. It's also only about 200m from the station, so transportation is super easy.

Not bad. The high floor offered great views! It's super close to the subway station, just across the street, about a 3-minute walk.

Other than that, the hotel location and cleanliness are satisfied.

Here as a business traveller.

The room design is dated but clean. Breakfast is amazing here. This is a convenient place to stay because shinagawa prince hotel has multiple towers connecting to one and another. Each tower has different shop ie golf simulator, massage, bowling alley etc.

7-11 is right downstairs at annexe tower. This hotel is just a short walk across Shinagawa train station, making this hotel a highly convenient place to access office.

Downside is there is no convenient hotel bus pickup from/to Haneda airport. Would be even better if hotel offers this service. Room also has no USB plug since it’s dated design. It’s abit tricky if you plugin UK adapter since the weight would press down and charging process will get interrupted. I had to prop up the weight with something to charge my phone but there is constant sound coming from the plug.

There’s not much to tour around in shinagawa area if you are here for leisure. Better to take JR line to Ginza as tourist.

Would consider staying at different tower if I need to be back here again.
