Gracery Asakusa Hotel in Tokyo

This is the greatest hotel I have ever stayed in Japan! In terms of price, this hotel give affordable rates. In terms of location, it is easy to access to Kaminarimon, Senso-Ji, subway, Aeon, and best there is a local mini market nearby to grab strawberries! Just few minutes of walking. The size of the room is good too! Spacious for three of us with two big luggage. The toilet is indeed spacious too. The front desk give me warm welcome and they keep smiling face all the times. Asakusa will be a great location if you would to escape from chaos areas .

This seventh-floor room offers a view of the Skytree, and the location is great. It would be perfect if the room were just a tiny bit more spacious!

Great location: lots of cafés nearby serving very good coffee, and convenience stores are within easy walking distance. Many sights are reachable on foot. It’s easy to get here by metro from Haneda Airport.

Many people say the rooms are small – true, but we had enough space. If you’re worried about the bed size, book a twin room and push the beds together – you’ll have more space, plus you’ll get an extra blanket.

There’s a currency exchange machine right in the hotel lobby, but the rate is poor – better to use the machine at the nearest 7-Eleven.

Good. It's quiet despite being in a busy area, and the transportation is convenient.

Hotel is in a good location, within minutes walk from exit 2a of Asakusa Line from airport. There’s a small Aeon supermarket 2 mins walk away and plenty of eateries as you walk towards Senjo Shi Temple. Breakfast is average . Will stay again.

Clean hotel and very close to station and Kaminarimon Gate. Nearby has supermarket, Familymart, 7 Eleven. They has laundry service. On the way back to hotel, you can see the Sky Tree. Lots of restaurants nearby the hotel.

Hotel Grocery Asakusa is an excellent choice for exploring Asakusa. The location is truly its biggest strength—just a short walk from Asakusa Station and the iconic Sensoji Temple. Being able to visit the temple early or late with such ease was a highlight. The area is also full of great food options and convenience stores.

The hotel itself is clean, modern, and comfortable. One amenity we appreciated was the on-site coin laundry. A small note for future guests: there are currently only two washing machines, and they were quite often occupied during our stay. Having one or two more machines would significantly improve this service, especially for longer stays or when the hotel is busy.

Despite this minor suggestion, the overall experience was very positive. For its unbeatable location, comfort, and value, I would definitely recommend this hotel and consider staying here again.

Location is convenient. Travel direct to Haneda airport in less than 30mins. Counter staffs are polite and helpful too. 2 mins walk to Sensoji temple.
