Super Hotel Ueno - Okachimachi in Tokyo

There's only one elevator, so you might have to wait a few extra minutes during peak hours. The bathroom is small but functional. The duvet was a bit thin; I hope they have thicker ones for winter. The AC/heater in the room can be adjusted and turned on/off by yourself. The blackout curtains are excellent; when fully drawn, the room can be as dark as night even in the daytime, which is great for those who need to sleep during the day. The room uses a keyless entry (code lock), so no room card is needed, which is very convenient. The front desk isn't staffed 24/7. If you arrive between 12 AM and 7 AM, you need to contact the front desk in advance to inform them of your exact arrival time. This might be for the security of the building, but if you return to the hotel between 12 AM and 7 AM after checking in, you'll need to enter your room's code at the main entrance to get in. Breakfast is from 7 AM to 9:30 AM, but I didn't try it as I couldn't wake up in time; early risers might enjoy it. It's closest to JR Okachimachi Station, and you can also walk to Keisei Ueno Station for the Skyliner. There are other subway lines within walking distance too.

Clean and tidy. They have a great selection of pillows of varying firmness and height available at the front desk, so you can choose the one that suits you best.

Staff were great. Room is clean and spacious. Will book Super Hotel again when i visit Japan next time.

Fantastic location and they have an area where you can choose your preferred type of pillow and pajamas. The pajamas were soo comfortable and fit loosely. Buffet breakfast had a lot of variety. Do note that the front desk closes from midnight to 7a so you need to communicate if you are arriving late so they can give you a code to get in. I emailed when our flight was delayed and they responded very timely.

Great breakfast selection. Great location. Great alcohol selection, and honestly quite convenient as no need for a keycard.

So close to hibiya line and few minute walk to the yamanote line. The location is perfect! Breakfast is good! They also offer free drinks from 6-9pm. Definitely worth if!

Great hotel! Breakfast was delicious and they had a free bar every night between 6PM - 8PM, nice touch. The room is compact, but same as everywhere in Tokyo. The room is comfortable and comfy bed, shower is good. It’s in a great location in Ueno, subway stations just outside and bigger stations 5 mins around the corner. Would recommend!

Convenient location, great for exploring the surroundings. Akihabara is just a 10-minute walk away. It's also very easy to get to Narita Airport from the hotel. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Tokyo! 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel was easy to find with a large logo, and the staff were very friendly. Check-in was smooth, and they provided amenities like pillows. Plus, women even received a small skincare gift pack! Breakfast was decent, and the area around the hotel was lively at night with convenient transportation. Overall, it's great value for money.
